Parlier is a brand new author to me and I loved the direction this book took. Tons of detail and a great plot kept me engaged from beginning to end. Everything about this book drew me in. I can’t say enough about the book and author and look forward to reading more!

This book is why I love to read series of books. Jessica Aiken-Hall grabbed me from page one in Boundaries to the last page of Confidentiality. Her characters are well developed and can be one of your everyday people you may know. I felt a connection to Valerie. She takes of herself and others. Her past is out and now she has to be with those she never thought she would. With all of this going on, she is still planning all of her events and special occasions. Valerie just wants to have a normal life. Her fiance keeps working on the case. Will Tim and Valerie figure out who is murdering all the people? This story is a page-turner and a great thriller. I highly recommend reading Boundaries the first book in the series. You will gain a lot of information about the characters. I would also caution that you may not want to put the book down once you start it. I hope you enjoy this book and series as much as I do.

This book picks up where the first book of the series, Boundaries, leaves off. Valerie and Tim are planning their wedding when murders start occurring in the area. Tim is tasked with investigating the murders…but Valerie feels like there is a connection among the killings. Will the connection be made before the killer strikes again? (You have to read it to find out)
This book kept me hooked in for two reasons. First, the story is good with twists and turns that keep you wanting to see what happens. Second, the relationship between Valerie and Tim is relatable. There is banter between the two, as well as support for Valerie as she continues to overcome her past. I found myself rooting for her as a person in the first book and I still am in this book. Other characters from the first book make an appearance as well. I look forward to what happens next in this series.

This story held my attention from the first page until the last page. I was looking for a mystery with a thriller tone to it. Lawrence Parlier’s The Frontman did just that gave me a story that I could not put down. His character development is complex and full of zeal. The plot-line is full of twists and turns and kept me flipping the pages because I could not wait to see what was coming. This story is about a music man, Kerry. At the beginning of his tour, he is found dead. The question his family is asking is it accidental or was it murder. Watch and see how the family handles the death of Kerry. Will it turn out to be accidental or murder? Can there be justice? I highly recommend this story. I will caution you once you start this book you may not be able to put it down.

This set is amazing! When I started the first book, I wasn’t sure what to think. But that was solved when I quickly learned that I could not put the book down. Each book in this set does that — pulls you in with stories and characters that are so compelling. Some people, you want to know more of; others you love to hate. The stories themselves are gripping and leave you guessing until the end.
With a superb cast and stories you submerge yourself in, this set is a great buy and I highly recommend it for those who like psychological suspense.

I loved reading the book The Slaughter of Leith Hall by Lexie Conyngham. It is a story that includes mystery and suspense. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I enjoyed reading about the character of Charlie Rob. He is a young man who finds himself on a journey that has him searching for both truth and justice. Charlie has a fierce determination to find the answers that he is searching for. Read this book for the full story. This is a book that had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It includes twists that I didn’t see coming. The story is woven in such a way that I felt like I was right there with the characters. Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining story that kept me up well past my bedtime to find out what happens. I highly recommend reading it.

I was pulled in once again by the author’s writing, I felt like I was right there with the characters. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. I love a good story that has me thinking the whole time and I was surprised with the ending as well. There are several twists and turns. The secondary characters were great.

I was excited to get this final book.
You get pulled in right from the beginning. Charlotte is a journalist who is looking for the truth behind some recent deaths. She is trying to put the pieces together to help solve the mystery. The closer she gets to figuring out things the more dangerous it gets.
There is so much more to this great read. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. There are several twists and turns. Rowena Holloway does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing, I can’t wait to read more from her.

The Ashes to Ashes Books 1-3 Boxset by Rowena Holloway were amazing psychological suspense books…. I was pulled in from the beginning and I could not stop until I was completely finished.
Charlotte was the perfect character to follow throughout the three books. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happened next with every page turn. These were fabulous reads and I can not wait for more from Ms. Holloway!!

Ashes to Ashes Box Set: Books are 1-3 by Rowena Holloway is a collection of books that are exciting to read. The books are all well written with fantastic characters. Each book has its own distinctive storylines that draws you in and keeps you interested. They are full of twists that keep you on your toes the whole way through. I was constantly trying to guess what was going on only for the author to throw a curveball that completely threw me off. These were all the type of books that I just couldn’t put down. They are overall fantastic and I would definitely recommend this series!

Bad Things Happen: Gripping Psychological Suspense is the first book in the Ashes to Ashes series by Rowena Holloway. This mystery/thriller is the first book I have read by Rowena Holloway, but definitely won’t be the last. This book had me hooked from the very first page and I just couldn’t put it down until the last. Charlotte Ashe is a local weather babe, trying to rise up in ranks to investigative reporter. Joey Baptist’s is a on the rise soccer player, who ran into some trouble. When Joey contacts Charlotte with a scoop and things start happening, Charlotte doesn’t know who she can trust as she investigates what really happened to Joey. This book had me on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns.
Less You Know: Gripping Suspense is the second book in the Ashes to Ashes series by Rowena Holloway. This book is full of mystery, action and suspense, it will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. This book features Charlotte Ashe, an investigative reporter. The action was fast paced, the twists and turns really had me guessing what was going to happen next. I’m really enjoying this series and I have put Rowena Holloway on my permanent TBR list.
From the Ashes is the third and final book in the Ashes to Ashes Series by Rowena Holloway. This psychological thriller had me hooked from the very first page. It was full of twists and turns. I just couldn’t put it down. I would highly recommend you read this series in order. You will love the wild ride. Charlotte is such an interesting lead character, and the plot was so detailed it had me guessing throughout. If you love a great thriller, this is the Box Set for you.

I loved reading the book The Frontman by Lawrence Parlier. It is a story that is interesting, intriguing, and entertaining. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a story that had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. The book centers around the death of a musical legend, Kerry Vance. It then gets really interesting when a mysterious woman from Kerry’s past shows up. The story had twists that I didn’t see coming. I enjoyed reading about the characters in the book. The author does a wonderful job of making them come alive. My emotions went up and down the entire time that I was reading this story. The book does have sad moments as well as heartwarming ones too. Don’t miss out on an amazing story that I couldn’t help but think about long after I had finished it. I highly recommend reading it.

This book picks up where the first one left off and is a suspenseful read. I love where it goes and how we root for Valerie to gain the strength in her life to overcome even the biggest of obstacles like finding out the truth about a serial killer. Valerie is one of those great characters that you just want the best for. The mystery of this book is great and keeps you looking for where it may lead. This book is entertaining, easy to read, unpredictable but in the best ways that make the characters more lovable.

This is my second book by Jacquie Biggar. I haven’t read any other books in the High-Tech Crime Solvers series but I will be going back to read them. I have loved Jacquie’s writing style in the first book I read of hers and this was no different. I enjoyed the story and the characters. Julie Crenshaw is our main female character, she’s an investigative reporter. Matthew Roy is our main male character, he’s a detective and frustrated with his inability to track a rapist terrorizing his city. I loved this story enough that I’m going back to start from the beginning of this series. If you’ve never read anything by Jacquie- you need to. If you have but haven’t read any of this series- you need to.

This is a new author for me, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I look forward to reading more from this series and author in the future. This is a historical mystery-murder story that kept me engaged. I enjoyed the characters as I had no problem connecting to them as they made the story come alive. I also enjoyed how the characters were supportive of each other which made it easy to read. This is a story that took me back to this time in history and made me feel as if I was there. This is a story about Charlie. He finds himself far away from home and Leith has taken him under his wing and changed his life. He also finds himself in the middle of a murder-mystery case in which he is determined to find justice. This is a little different story for me than what I normally read but I enjoyed it. I had no problems turning page after page wondering what would happen next. I am happy I picked up this book and I highly recommend reading it.

The Divided Twin is the second Book in The Divided Series by M.Billiter with Kyle Thomas . Wow I’m almost speechless but what a story .I literally locked myself in a room and warned my family not to bother me. Once I started reading there was no putting it down till I finished. I definitely highly recommend reading the first book in this series if you haven’t already. There were times my emotions were all over the place and I was almost ugly crying and my heart hurt. This story we have Aaron and Branson they are identical twins but there’s also a third twin named David who lives in the mind of one of the others mind. But once mom gets sick David starts to come out more. Find out what happens when he does come out? I again highly recommend this book ,get ready for a on the edge of your seat rollercoaster ride that will have you trying to figure out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

I will preface this by saying if you havent read book 1, stop and get it and read it first.
I knew going into this book I was in for quite an emotional roller coaster as well as getting an engaging read. This had it all and then some. I really didn’t know what would happen next and that made me want to keep reading. My emotions were everywhere reading this, just so much emotions on the page and that takes talent. I recommend reading this as its really in a league of its own.

Boy on hold is the first book I’ve read by JD Spero. This is a beautifully written story about a boy in trouble. This story made me realize how many talented authors there are that I haven’t even discovered yet. I cannot wait to see what JD Spero comes up with next, I’m ready. I couldn’t put this book down. I loved every character and how the author made them come to life. If you want a serious but written with a light heart book- this is the one for you, absolutely recommend.

I felt super emotional and worn out after finishing the book. I found the twists and turns well laid out. A really good read.

I enjoyed this murder-mystery story from beginning to end. This is my first book by this author and I will be looking for more from him. This is a well written story that pulls you in right from the beginning. It is engaging and the twists and turns will keep you turning pages to the end. Aaron and Branson are identical twins who survived a rough childhood. In their teens, Trevor (the voice in Branson’s head) emerged and wrecked havoc in their lives. Now as adults in their last year of college, it seems it is happening to Aaron. Aaron is struggling with pressures from school, work and volunteer time. With the realization that he might lose his mother to cancer, David (the voice in his head) has taken the reins. After everything that has happened with Trevor, can the twins survive David?
I remember reading book one and it blew me away so I knew that this one would be excellent as well. Both twins have schizoaffective disorder. Each book is written from a different perspective of the illness. In this story Aaron believes that he has everything under control therefore he doesn’t need help. After seeing what Branson went through with the psychiatrists and the hospital, Aaron definitely doesn’t want a repeat of that for himself.
This is an intense read that shows the ripple effect that this illness has on family and friends. The ending just about broke my heart. My only issue with this book is the constantly changing p.o.v’s. Many times I had to reread passages to figure out who was talking. Aside from that, I loved the book.

This night is the start of a tremulous time for the Trout family. Family bonds are pushed to the limit as Hens older brother and role model is arrested.
Marcella Trout doesn’t know what to think. Her seventeen-year-old son has been arrested and she can’t help but worry that his recent mood swings may have deeper roots than first thought, she had tried to keep secrets hidden but the past could be about to come back to haunt her.
Boy on Hold is described as “suitable for teens, intriguing for adults” and this is an accurate description. I loved Hen and his relationship with his brother Tyler. A story that starts as a thriller and a mystery soon becomes much more than than and delves into the complicated world of teenage mental health and a family fighting to stay together.

The Divided Twin by Mary Billiter is the second book in the Divided Series. This is the follow up book to The Divided Mind and personally I think these need to be read in order.
I am so glad to see a follow up to book one. It was great to be able to get back into these characters and their minds. I thought this book was even better than the first one. I was hooked immediately and found myself unable to put the book down. I read it all in one sitting and was thinking about it long after I had finished.
I love the way the whole book was written and how the characters are developed. I found it to be such an interesting read! I would definitely recommend this series to anyone.

Rowena Holloway does an amazing job keeping the mystery going throughout the series. These stories have a dark thriller with suspense, secrets, truth, twists, and turns. Holloway makes sure that you have all the information you need to understand the story fully. There are times when I just wanted to close my eyes and get lost into my “happy world” because I was fearful for what was coming. Then BAM!!!! A twisty turn comes and makes me reread what I had just read because I missed the turn to her twist. I would allow time to read this book in one sitting as it moves at a good pace, and for me at least, I wanted to finish to see how everything came together. In this series, we have met Charlotte. She is a journalist who finds herself involved with a mystery. Her character grows with each story. You watch her and feel for her because you want her to put all the puzzles together about the Hall. You will want to read these stories all together. I highly recommend these books. Make sure while reading these books you are ready to read them all together. You will not be able to put them down once you start reading them.

The Divided Twin is the second book in The Divided series by M. Billiter and Kyle Thomas. I really recommend reading the first book in the series before this one, as we reunite with identical twins, Aaron & Branson Kovak whom we met in book one.
I found this story a little more difficult to settle into than book one. There is a lot of swapping back and forth between characters that got a little confusing at times. But I guess that it added to the atmosphere of the book while also emphasizing the struggle with schizophrenia that occurs through the story. The mental illness is captured so realistically- textured with some darkness, heartbreak, and emotion.
Thought provoking for sure!

This is one crazy story! It took me on a ride with some high highs and low lows. I was shocked and surprised more than once. In here we continue following the twins as they are almost done with college. The last book left me confused and this one took some of that away. I wasn’t a fan of the misdirection throughout because later in the book things change…which made me doubt what I had previously read. So cryptic yes..but I don’t want to give anything away. These characters are very well done and had me feeling for them and hoping they do well.
Anyway by the end I forgave the author and just sat dumbfounded and saddened. Mental health is no joke. This shows the stigma attached to certain monikers. Listening to those kids in the Depression group is enlightening. Even What the twins have gone through and how people act toward them. Over this is a good read. I would recommend reading book 1 first. It will help with understanding some aspects of this one.

This author crept up on me in the first book of this series and literally blew me away. This story was no different and with the addition of her son’s input and the what if factor finished me off. What an emotional read! There were a couple spots where I found I had to put the book down because I couldn’t see through the tears. After reading the first, which by the way still brings back all the emotions as if I was still reading it, I had a feeling there was more coming, the minute I could physically have this book on my kindle I did.
You have to be able to focus while reading. Any distractions could leave you feeling confused, so if there’s any warning from me, that would be it. There are some tough parts that were a bit hard to get through but life with this kind of condition can’t be all sunshine and roses unfortunately.
I’m not even going to try to sum up anything storyline wise, You have to read this, but I do highly recommend reading the first book and not just the stories in each but cover to cover.
This was a Phenomenal story that will no doubt stay with me for a long long time. I will absolutely read both of these again maybe more than once.
Feels weird to say I loved it, or I enjoyed it, but it doesn’t feel weird to say I literally could not put it down and hated when it ended…

The Divided Twin (The Divided Series Book 2) by Mary Billiter and Kyle Thomas is a compelling and dark story that may cause triggers as it deals with mental health issues, abuse and suicide. The story has many, many emotions, it is frustrating, heartfelt and heart breaking. I found it hard at times having had a mental health problem myself. Mary gives us realistic look at a mental disorder and an insight into the mind of someone who has schizophrenia and how it affects themselves and those around them. I had trouble settling into the story as the back and forth between characters was a little confusing at times, but this could be because I was a little unsettled reading it. It is a fictional story but written from experience and input from Kyle who has first-hand knowledge.

The story Confidentiality (Scope of Practice Book 2) by Jessica Aiken-Hall is a crime/thriller book. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until the final page. It is a book that had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. The story finds Valerie Williamson’s life going very well. She has a wedding to plan for, wonderful friends, and a handsome fiancé. Will all of that be upset with the news of a serial killer in Lawerenceville? Tim, her fiancé, is busy trying to find the one responsible for the murders. Valerie wonders if the connection between the murders is more than a coincidence. Will Valerie discover who the serial killer is? Read this book to find out. This story had me turning pages. I love the comradery between Valerie and the additional characters in the story. I also loved reading about the bantering that goes back and forth between Valerie and Tim. They make a wonderful couple and I couldn’t help but want them to be happy. This is the second book in a series and to fully understand this story they should be read in order. This book does have characters dealing with sensitive subjects. The story also has some twists that I did not see coming. Don’t miss out on a book that will have you reading far into the night to finish. I would highly recommend reading it.

Marcella Trout’s 17-yr-old is accused of the crime as she’s tried to bury her family’s dark secrets but the truth soon turns out as the investigation unravels.
You can’t help but feel Hen’s pain as he recounts the story and unveils the mystery that is his family. Check out this great book and see where it leads.

The Divided Twin (The Divided Series Book 2). I highly recommend reading these in order to start off. Now for my view on this book, I really appreciate the way this author tells a story. The entire story draws you in and I couldn’t put it down until I reached the end. The characters are complex and well written. From beginning to end I was completely hooked. I’ve seen this book be described as raw and I think that’s a great way of thinking about it. It’s a bit of a difficult subject but you can feel the authors emotions behind each page. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. It may have some triggers for some but I truly appreciate the words written. Four stars and highly recommended!
