Golden Void (Black Blade Book 3) by Alexander Charalambides is a Young Adult Fantasy that has plenty of action, suspense that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. This is the third book in the Black Blade series and I highly recommend reading the first two books if you haven’t already. Megan is newly adopted and is fixing to take on a new quest that involves murder and mystery. While on the quest she continues to ask herself who the real enemy is? Tyson is a bit cocky and has an attitude and megan is in control of watching over him.I found myself on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This book was a lot! Like prepare yourself to get lost for a few hours or more because you are not going to want to stop until you read that last page and find out how this book will come to a conclusion. I am new to Lisa Edmonds but the cover drew in my attention and I just had to know what this urban fantasy would hold. Alice is our main gal! She has a history in the dark that she wants to keep there in order to keep her safe. There are a lot of people who could use her memory and history to their advantage and not Alice’s. Alice also runs her own PI firm and has just taken on a case that will also test her and her magic skills. I love all the components of magic that are at play in this novel and I was always very entertained. I hope we will get many more of Alice and her adventures in the near future!

Lisa Edmonds is a new author to me. Her writing style kept me at the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. Her plot line is engaging with every page I wanted more and more. Her characters are complex and complicated. I can imagine the story with her imagery. Alice is the main character. She was a prisoner to a crime syndicate, who escaped through faking her death. Now she is a PI for the supernatural. She has stumbled on a case that will test her abilities. Alice will have to find her client and the object before it is too late. I recommend this story and I can’t wait until the next book.

Alice has powerful magic. Since the age of six she was forced to do some unthinkable things to make her grandfather powerful and feared. Her only way to escape was to fake her own death. Taking on a new identity, she now works as a private investigator. She takes on a case that she believes is simple but turns out to be much more complicated and she almost dies. Though she trusts no one, she realizes that she needs help and recruits a ghost, werewolf and a vampire. With such a mish mash of supernaturals, things get quite interesting.

I loved this book! Alice is a force to be reckoned with yet she is insecure and closed off for the most part. Opening up is hard for her considering her past. I adored the characters and the dynamics between each of them. The world building and premise of the story will keep you riveted to your seat unable to put the book down. This is going to be an awesome series.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Heart of Malice by Lisa Edmonds a four-star read with heart. This is the first novel in the Alice Worth series and shows great promise for the series, this has some very well done world building as it encompasses a variety of different characters and they each have their own personal quirks, that make them so much more. Alice the main character is nicely done, she is hiding from a scary past, but while hiding she is also trying to atone for things that were beyond her control, as we all know guilt doesn’t always follow the correct rules. Alice was believable as a private investigator, she had a real awareness to her, I am hopeful for the rest of this series as we have met some great characters that I am sure we will only fall harder in love with the more we get to know them.

I enjoyed this story. This is not my first book by this author, it is one of my favorites by this author. This is a young adult story that has action, suspense and a mystical quest. I was pulled into the story right from the first chapter. I had no problems connecting with the characters as they brought the story to life. Megan is about to take on another quest. This one will bring conflict and having to try to control an athlete who has an attitude problem plus add a serial killer after wizards, you get a page turner.. This is a fast paced story that I had a hard time putting down. I highly recommend this book.

The story Golden Void (Black Blade Book 3) by Alexander Charalambides is a YA/fantasy book. It is a story that pulls you in from the beginning and doesn’t let you go until the final page. It is a story that has action, danger, and magic. I loved reading about the character of Megan. She is a teen who has just be adopted and also is on a second Quest involving mystery, murder, and swords. As the quest continues, she has started asking herself who her real enemy is? What does the future hold for Megan? Read this book to find out. The author of this story does an amazing job in world-building as well as writing in great detail. I felt like I was right there with Megan and those who are on the Quest with her. This is a book that had me wondering what was going to happen next. I grew to care about what happened to Megan and rooting for her to succeed. Many characters interact with Megan and I couldn’t help but wonder about some of their motives. Megan is a character that wants a better life and also is facing her fears. I found my emotions going up and down as she tries to navigate her way. Heart of Malice (Alice Worth Book 1) by Lisa Edmonds was one terrific book. The characters are all very well developed and so very unique. The plot was very well thought out, every action the characters take, and the rationales behind those actions. The story in and of itself is mind snagging but the thirst for more is tantalizing. Be warned there is mature content to this story, not so much that you are constantly skipping through it but it is in there. So be forewarned. Great action, great dialogue. Worth a good read.

I loved reading the book Heart of Malice (Alice Worth Book 1) by Lisa Edmonds. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. The story includes magic, shifters, mages, mystery, and danger. The book is written in such a way that I felt like I was right there with the characters. I loved reading about Alice. She is a PI of the Supernatural. Alice is intelligent, strong, and fiercely independent. She doesn’t like to rely on anyone but herself. The story finds her and Malcolm, a ghost with a past just like herself, on a mission to find an object of power. What happens next has Alice looking for someone with a dangerous secret and an unknown agenda. Will Alice find the object of power? How much danger is Alice in? What does her future hold? Read this book to find out. This story has both an amazing plot and unforgettable characters. The author does a wonderful job in world building and I loved reading the story of what has happened in the past to both Alice and Malcolm. Other characters are introduced and some of them are friendly and helpful while others have their plans and will do anything to make sure their agenda comes to pass. This is an exciting and entertaining story that you will not want to miss out on. I highly recommend reading it.

Seal of Solomon : A Lilandra Reeves Adventure (Supernatural Intelligence Agency, #2) By Nadine Travers.

This book follows Lilandra Reeves, she’s a warrior witch and is summoned to collect the Seal of Solomon an artefact which allows the holder to control demons. When it is snatched from under her nose Lilandra comes face to face with someone from her past, someone she never thought she would see again. I really really enjoyed reading this book and I hope we see more from Lilandra’s point of view, some questions left unanswered so I’m hoping we do get more. Full of magical creatures, action and twists all the way through it was a very enjoyable read. Thank you for another great story in this series.

I have read a couple of books from this author and she continues to blow my mind with her storytelling. I absolutely love a good fantasy read but she exceeded all my expectations. This is the second book to the supernatural intelligence agency. You do need to read the first book in order to understand what is going on. I was excited when I got this book. I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. I could not stop so I read this book straight through.

Someone wants to steal the Seal of Solomon and Lilandra is called to make sure that doesn’t happen. She has to travel to Vancouver in order to protect the Seal. After her fateful mate’s death she is committed to her coven no matter the cost. Lilandra runs into a werewolf that what’s to make a deal with her for the Seal. He tells her that The Lady can bring back her mate if she gives him the Seal. Will Lilandra stay on her task or will temptation take over?

This is book two of the Supernatural Intelligence Agency.

This story find Lilandra who is a witch. Her purpose in life is to rescue things that are in danger and keep them protected. Lilandra is part of the witches coven and believes that keeping the supernatural beings seperated is whats right.

On her quest to save the seal she faces off against. The Lady’s team. They are also after the Seal but they want to use it to help bring peace between all the supernatural beings so that they can all mix and live together. That is their mission or so they are lead to believe.

The Lady however has other ideas and while she is happy to have her team collect the things she needs her plan is all about revenge.

It is an amazing adventure from the first page and keeps you guessing as to who are the good guys and who are the bad. I’m still guessing now so cant wait to read the next one.

The Seal of Solomon: A Lilandra Reeves Adventure (Supernatural Intelligence Agency: World Book 2)The Seal of Solomon: A Lilandra Reeves Adventure by Nadine Travers

I give The Seal of Solomon: A Lilandra Reeves Adventure (Supernatural Intelligence Agency Book 2) by Nadine Travers.

This is a good continuation of the series. It is all about Lilandra’s struggle to protect the Seal of Solomon. We learn more about Lilandra’s past and why she is the way she is now. There is also action involved in protecting the seal itself. Lilandra is a great character and I would really like to see more of her in future books. While this is a very short story, it holds your interest and can easily be read in one sitting. Although the author does a good job of reiterating what happened previously, I recommend reading book one first.

If you are a fan of Paranormal creatures and adventure, along with some steaminess thrown in, this book is for you.

This book took me on an adventure of magic, action, danger and wonderful characters. I do however wish this book was longer because I didn’t want it to end. Lilandra is strong and independent and finds herself up against those that want the seal. She is also being asked to make a really difficult decision, what will she decide? I was on the edge of my seat at times wondering what was going to happen next. This was a wonderfully written paranormal fantasy short story that I was able to read in an afternoon. The author does a great job sucking you in from the very beginning and before you know it the book is done. The story line was well written and thought out. Lilandra’s mate was killed during a past mission when he was trying to help her. With his death she swore herself to the coven. Donovan, who is a werewolf, proposes a deal to Lilandra. Will Lilandra strike a deal with Donovan to save her lost mate?
