Book 1 of the Masters of the Consulate series, Master Descallia, truly captivated my interest in this new author. Her writing is beautifully done, with wonderful character development. It’s always impressive when you really get a feel for the unique personalities of multiple characters in such a short book (I want to read more about Embry!). The beginning wasn’t too drawn out and the action started immediately after a brief opening. Master Descallia is a strong and domineering character and I can certainly see why Luce is so drawn to him! Must read!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Christian Tuscano is one of the twelve Masters of the Consulate of Vampires. The love of his life is Delilah. He wanted Delilah as his partner, but being a human, the consulate disagreed with his proposal.

Delilah was taken by a rogue vampire as part of a human trafficking ring, and now Christian wants revenge. Being a part of the Consulate means that he must be granted permission to seek his revenge. As a human, Delilah does not need permission and after recovering flies to Chicago to find her abductor. During her inquisition, she is fatally wounded by some rogue shifters. Christian arrives just as the shots begin and turns her before he can be granted permission by Delilah or the Consulate.

Christian is determined to get the Consulate’s permission, but Delilah doesn’t make it easy. With her new powers as a vampire, she often ignores the rules and goes off on her own. She is especially determined to prove that the witches she spent time with after the Consulate’s first decision do not bear any ill will against the vampires. Will she come to accept the rule of order of the vampire community? Can she convince the Consulate that she desires to be with Christian forever?

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was my first time reading Sylvia Black. I think the author did a wonderful job developing the history and story line of the vampire consulate going up against a Big Bad that threatens their existence. Eventually, all the Masters are going to have to fight back against the Big Bad, as they fall in love and find their mates. This was the first of the Masters to fall in love and find his mate. I felt like all the characters were believable (as much as any vampire book!) and look forward to reading more about how the other Masters will fall in love and find their mates.

Please note that this book is definitely for adults; as there are adult elements that are described.

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black is the second book in the Masters of the Consulate series. As amazing as what book one was I couldn’t see how the author could possibly keep that going. And yet she seemed to do so completely effortlessly. After finishing book one I dove straight into this one and I could not put it down. I finished the whole book in one sitting and I am desperate to get my hands on more. The way this author writes is just mesmerising. Again, I can’t see how she could possibly top this book and I cannot wait for her to show me!

Master Descallia: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black is the first book in the Masters of the Consulate series. This is an explosive start to a new series. When I started the book I expected it to be like any other vampire book but I could not have been more wrong. The author has created a gripping and thrilling book with such incredible characters. The chemistry between them was unbelievable. You could feel it right from the start and it was the underlying element to the whole book.
You can’t help but to become fully immersed in this book, to the point where I found it hard to put the book down. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I could not have asked for a better introduction!

Master Tuscano is the second book in the Masters of the Consulate series by Sylvia Black. This is a delicious paranormal romance- with a bit of a dark tone, vampires, shifters, witches, revenge, an underworld society, politics, supernatural elements, drama, danger, agendas, action, adventure, emotion, tension, chemistry, and sizzling hot details.

Such a great story! I always love vampire stories and this one is no exception. The story moves along at a quick pace and easily drew me into the lives of these characters. Salvatore is strong character who had drive. I enjoyed Lucianna and her powers. She has an independent nature that makes her zesty and full of fire. The chemistry between these two is palpable.

Secondary characters are a lot of fun. They added some lively times to the story. I think Embry is my favorite. She has some sauciness about her and she stands up for Luce then makes her smile. Just what a friend should do!

Overall this is an enjoyable read. It took me on an adventure of the best kind.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book 2 in the Masters of the Consulate series. I really love these books. With their mixture of romance, danger, and supernatural beings it makes for a gripping read.

In this story we follow Christian and Delilah. After Delilah’s traumatic kidnapping she is set out for revenge against the person responsible. What happens next is a series of events which means that to save Delilah’s life Christian has to turn her into a vampire.

With the rest of the Masters of the Consulate not being happy with their relationship this added twist makes it even harder for them to be accepted by them.

Add to this upheaval the danger of not only the person responsible for Delilah’s kidnapping being on the loose but also the Syndicate that is out to destroy the peace between supernatural and humans.

Why is the Syndicate trying to destroy Lazareth when they were working in partnership? What does Lazareth know? Can Delilah prove to everyone that she is trustworthy and that she will remain by Christians side? And will their relationship even survive all this upheaval and danger?

Oh my! This is one of the hottest vampire romances I’ve read this year. This author has just knocked overtaken the top spot on my favorites list for vampire romance. Well done on the characters. They are even written hot, steamy and with lots of personality. I love it when a book feels like I am making my own show up in my head. I can just picture all of this.. The action is constant. The drama is great. Location is perfect. Las Vegas is the perfect spot to have full of vampires. The plot is such that you just can’t set your Kindle down. I had to go back and forth between my phone and Kindle so that I could keep reading wherever I was. You just have to read this book. I can’t give enough praise to this. And, c’mon, if you like book boyfriends, Sylvia always gives good. Highly recommended.

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) by Sylvia Black is a dark paranormal Vampire romance story and is another great book in this series. As with the first book Master Descallia I was instantly lost in the story and to the beauty of the harsh world that Sylvia created. Her world building and characterization is spot on. It is also just as fast paced, intense, full of suspense and steaming hot as the first book. I am hooked on this series and love what Sylvia has done so far. Women are going missing and the Consort of Vampires are being framed but Descallia must try and find the answers and prevent anything else happening but when he sees those green eyes staring at him, he’s done for.

Descallia is the overlord of the consort and someone is trying to frame them with the disappearance of woman from the city, but while he is trying to deal with that mess, in walks another problem in the body of Luicanna but there is something different with her, can he concentrate or be distracted by her.

Luicanna is a detective with a difference, she has powers that can see the past, present and future but when she goes undercover the casino following a case she encounters more than just chips, there is something about Descillia but she can’t quite put her finger on it until one night changes everything.

This is first book I have read by this author and I am definitely ready to download more. This story is not normally a genre I read but with the handsome hunk on the cover I thought I would give it a go and I was not disappointed.

The characters are well written and build suspense within the story which is thrilling and such a page turner. The story is full of twists and turns and some omg moments which had me turning the pages well into the night to find the conclusion. The secondary characters also add to the excitement of the story and I can only hope that some of them are the next instalment in this series. I am definitely ready for the next instalment in this series.

Wow Wow Wow! So many twists and turns. I loved this book because the main characters from the first book had a great presence in this book as well. I get very attached to the characters and get a little grumpy when you only get a passing over in the second book. Great balance. Thank you.
The story of Deliah and Master Tuscano is fought with trial after trial. Someone is out to kidnap her and then kill her. She is not one to listen to orders very well and that is an understatement. She is thinking of what is best for Master Tuscano but winds up in more trouble. Everyone rallies to help out. This book was outstanding.

This is the second book in this series which I enjoyed just as much if not more than the first one. I highly suggest reading the first book before this one to help your enjoyment of this series. This is a well written story about Christian and he is seeking judgement for Delilah who was left dead at his feet. She has never wanted the underworld but now she has no choice as Christian makes her immortal. She is now faced with being in a world she never wanted but not only that she also needs to prove that she has a right to be by Christian’s side. Only fate will tell what happens next for them. Their love is put to the test but will it survive? I enjoyed watching their growth throughout the story. Their chemistry is great. Their determination is strong and really comes through in the story. I really enjoyed their story. I highly recommend reading this book and this author.

Descallia: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 1)Descallia: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A string of missing persons cases bring two people from completely different parts of the world together to try and solve this case. One is Lucianna, a Las Vegas police officer who has clairvoyant abilities. The other is Salvatore, the Overlord of the Vampire Masters. When a robbery occurs when Lucianna starts her undercover work, she’s brought deeper into the world of vampires than she could have ever anticipated. With more women going missing, it’s going to take the abilities of her new team and all the skills she possesses with her own powers to hunt down where they are. The only issue is that even with her mind on the case, she keeps getting visions of what might happen with her and Salvatore, and that’s a distraction she just can’t afford right now.

I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this with how the first couple of trappers were written but I quickly found myself falling into the story and really enjoying it. Even though Salvatore is the Overlord, I appreciated how much he relied on Lucianna to lead the search for these women and to figure out what happened by providing her with a team who all have their own special skills that played an important role throughout the story. The way the author handled the romance kept the reader wanting more and even though I wish certain could have happened quicker, the incorporation of the visions was an interesting twist. Overall I really enjoyed the book. There was a decent amount of world building with the use of the vampire historical texts and I’m interested to see how things play out in the future.

Descallia: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 1)Descallia: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved it! That is the easiest way to sum up what I thought of this book. This was a first time author for me, and I am so glad I got to start reading their work! This was a first novel in the series, and needless to say I will be defiantly reading the next ones to follow. It had the right amount of mystery, paranormal, and flames of desire to fuel my inner heart as I sip my coffee and hang onto the pages as I turn them.

First off, I picked this book up as its one of my favorite genres-paranormal. Throw in a super sexy vampire whom is a Overlord named Salvatore and yes you have me hooked even more! His descriptions were defiantly fantasy material. But, I what I truly loved about Salvatore was his personality. Don’t get me wrong, he was his own version of fire, and he had that characteristic strong in him. But other than his sex appeal he was a strong character, mind wise I would say. He cared for his people. They were being blamed for other female humans vanishing. He wanted nothing more to solve the mystery and put an end to this. He had a rough exterior but I loved his caring side he did not let out very often.

Salvatore was a lone vampire to say until he met a creature whom not only captures his eyes, but in small words his very soul. Her name was Luciana and she was looking into the case of the women who strangely began to vanish with no reason. I loved her personally. She was strong minded as well, but she was stubborn in the sense of she’s not letting anything stop her. She was a detective working undercover and she was the type of person who would not rest till the case was done and buried with. What I most found intriguing of her, was what she could do with her mind. You will have to read it to see what I am referring to at this point.

Sparks fly when these two meet. There was strong desire, but also strong sense will that giving in would just be a mess of trouble. But can these two truly ignore the flames that ignite around them? The touch that gives that very fire to your soul, can you really ignore what you want so bad? Or is giving in perhaps the worst idea to ever cross your mind knowing there could be consequences?

As the plot thickens, lots of loose ends seemed to be tied together as the mystery unraveled. As well what was instore for Lucianna and Salvatore! This book gave so much to me and I wanted more still. it was just so good and I did not want t put it down. it was as if a ember in my own soul was right there with the characters and I as well was trying to resist the heat that I wanted to consume me.

Loved this book for all it brought, and all it left me wanting more of. the characters were made to be very well done and very easy to get to know as well as distinguish them! The author did an amazing job and I can not truly wait for the next books in the series. They truly know how to captivate their reader and keep them reading those pages to see what happens next!

Again loved this book and truly recommend! You will not be disappointed in any shape or form!

This book is a mix of it all.
First off – the only thing I can think to compare this book too is an inside look of the Volturi from twilight in the best ways. We follow Luce as she goes undercover into the Vampire Overmasters Casino/Club. Although, her mission to figure out where kidnapped girls all around the city, becomes complicated when Salvatore Overmaster sets his sights on Luce. The tension between them, and the very short timeline they have to save the women. A situation causing Luce to be turned a vampire herself, having to learn about her powers on the go. The sexual tension in this book was SO GOOD & the author build up was amazing – and totally rewarding in the end😏

This was a fabulous book. Onto book two. Salvatore Descallia is the Overlord of 12 Master Vampire secs worldwide. Finding out in the book that she is Dominic’s creator. She has something up her sleeve to tear Kaysee and Dominic apart…. This book is intense and fantastic… highly recommended!
