Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine – Review by Angela Hayes

Forgotten Promise by Virginia Wine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

3 ½ Stars

Forgotten Promise is the second book in the Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. This continues Bryer and Nathan’s story from book one, so I highly recommend reading the first book before starting on this one.
Just when things seem to be going great and the future looks bright- the past comes back with a vengeance and will test their relationship like nothing before. With all the obstacles they’ve managed to overcome- this may just break them!
Again, as with the first book, I had some trouble connecting with the characters and their story. The frustrated me so much. I really wanted to shake them both! Cash is a real piece of work- a major POS!!! And we are left with another cliffhanger, with more details and developments to be revealed in the next book.
I am interested to see how everything will come together in the end. Wonder what Forgotten Chance (Book 3) has in store for us….

Thank you, Virginia Wine!

Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. Once again this author truly knows how to capture my attention and I couldn’t put this book down. I highly recommend reading this series in order. Once again this author gives us a bit of everything I love in a great story. Som suspense, mystery and a whole lot of romance. These characters truly draw you into their world and you can definitely forget the time of day while you spend it with them. From the get go these characters had me hooked and I’m so ready for more. It’s a well written story and it’s paced nicely. Five stars all the way and excited to see where the author takes readers next. Highly recommended!

Bryer and Nathan have been through a lot…and are finally at a place where their relationship is on solid ground. They are moving on from their pasts…until Bryer’s past starts contacting her. Nathan knows this is not a good sign and vows to protect Bryer at all costs. However, through the use of the manipulation that Cash is known for, he gets Bryer to come to him…willingly. What follows causes both Bryer and Nathan to question just how solid their relationship is and what the future holds for them. We are left with another cliffhanger…which makes me excited to read the next book.

I found myself, once again, intrigued by how the story will play out. The vulnerabilities and emotions displayed by both of the main characters can seem too much at times…but they are real. This is how real people feel in relationships. And the secondary characters, again, help push the story along while hinting at their own story that could be brewing. I will definitely be checking out the next book to see what happens next!

Forgotten Promise by Virginia Wine a fabulous five-star read. This is number two in the Forgotten series and it has gone from strength to strength, I really enjoyed how we hear mostly from Nathan and Bryer but very occasionally we get to hear from Cash, and that helped me get into his head more, it just seemed to add another layer to the story. The twists and turns with this story will have you upside-down, and leave you breathless, there is such a rich storyline and characters that you cant help but feel every emotion they are going through, the loss, the love and the passion. I cant wait to hear more from this author.

So the second book in this trilogy definitely measured up against the first, it may not have been as full of action however the continuation of Bryer and Nathan’s relationship had be hanging on every turn of the page! There were some twists and turns for them to navigate in this story and I really enjoyed following them. I loved that the story was told from dual POV’s (Bryer and Nathan) my favourite writing style to read and I enjoyed the odd POV from Cash as well! When I first started this book I thought I knew what was going to happen so I loved that the author threw in a character I didn’t expect which took the storyline off on a tangent which was exciting and unexpected! I am definitely looking forward to more from Ms Wine in the future!

Forgotten Truth (Forgotten #1)Forgotten Truth by Virginia Wine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Forgotten Truth is the first novel in the Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. It is a sexy story that follows Bryer and her trainer Nathan.

Bryer works for a design and apparel company. She has started her life over from scratch after being burned by her ex. She has trust issues, but a huge crush on her sexy, mysterious trainer. like a moth to flame, she cannot avoid what she feels for him.

Nathan co-owns a gym where he is also a trainer. He doesn’t frequently cross the boundary of trainer and client, but when the lines blur sometimes there is no going back, especially when true feelings come into the mix.

I really enjoyed Bryer and Nathan’s dynamic throughout this story. They don’t each other well and while their relationship moves quickly, they begin to see that there are some issues that each of them need to work through. Some on their own, some together. I cannot wait for the next story in this trilogy!!

I loved this story. It was well written and i fell in love with the characters.

Bryer is a hardworking independent woman. She left her old life because of heartbreak that left her shattered. So she moved for a new life, new job and hopefully in time a new love.

Nathan owns a popular gym. He is a successful businessman who has a way with the ladies. All his clients love him and want to be with him but no one turns his head until Bryer comes along.

Can he leave his playerboy ways behind to be with her and can Bryer get over her trust issues enough to deal with a man who is wanted by every woman he meets.

Both have pasts that they need to come to terms with in order for them to succeed and the cliff hanger it leaves you on means i cant wait to read the next one to see where this couple goes.

Forgotten Truth Trilogy is the first book in the The Forgotten Trilogy series by Virginia Wine. I literally got lost in the pages and couldn’t stop reading till the end. There were times my emotions were all over the place one minute and there were times the temperature went up. There’s plenty of action, drama, family secrets and deception. Nathan and Bryer, he’s a playboy with a dark family secret and she’s been betrayed in the past and has issues with trusting others. There’s so much chemistry between these two that sparks fly. Can these two have a future together? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read the next book in this Trilogy.

Forgotten Truth by Virginia Wine was a great story! It took me a couple of chapters to get hooked, and the beginning started off a little confusing, but a couple chapters in it got much better! Very good story line, very steamy (if you’re reading the steamy/erotica version) and some great twists I didn’t expect! This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and I immensely enjoyed it and can’t wait to read more from Wine!

Forgotten Truth Trilogy: Book One (The Forgotten Trilogy 1) by Virginia Wine. From page one I knew I was going to enjoy this book and I did right until the very last page. This author pulled me in completely. While there’s plenty of steamy scenes there’s also an incredible storyline that takes main stage. I had no trouble falling into the pages and getting lost for a while because the characters pulled at me. Each one brings something unique to the storyline and I loved going on this journey with them. It’s well written and paced nicely, I’m excited to see where readers are taken next. This is book 1 In The Forgotten Truth Trilogy. This is the first book I’ve ever read by this author and was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed reading this book and it kept me glued to my kindle from chapter 1. This book had everything one could want in a book. The chemistry between Nathan and Bryer was ridiculously hot. The book had lots of drama and suspense. There really is a lot going on in the book and you can miss some vital info if you don’t pay attention. I really like the 2 main characters but didn’t love the supporting character. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series

Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy
By Virginia Wine
5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading the story Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is the second story in a trilogy so I would highly suggest reading the books in order to fully understand what is happening. In this book, Nathan and Bryer have declared their love for each other. He has taught her how to trust again. She is his one true love. What will happen when someone from her past shows up? What will Bryer choose, the present, or the past? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. The story includes romance, danger, and manipulation. The man from Bryer’s past, Cash, is manipulative, slimy, and just plain evil. He is a man who is used to getting what he wants. I am rooting for Nathan and Bryer to find happiness. They are characters that I care about what happens to them. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story that has amazing characters. I highly recommend reading it.

I loved this book. This is the second book in this series, it is just as awesome as the first if not better. This author is fast becoming one of my favorites. She has a great imagination and her attention to detail makes you feel as if you are part of the story. I had no problem connecting with the characters. They had great chemistry and really made the story a page turner. Nathan and Bryer thought they had their future settled. They have fought their way through life challenges. But now, the past is coming to the present and it may not be a good thing. Now, Bryer is left with a decision, to live in the past or live for the present and future. Which will she choose? Their twists and turns had me turning pages fast. I highly recommend their story and this author.

Forgotten Truth by Virginia Wine is the first book in the Forgotten Trilogy. This is a great book that had a lot more to it than I was expecting.
This is the first time I have ever had to choose which version of a book that I wanted – PG or hot and steamy. Naturally I went for the hit and steamy version and it was definitely that. Some of the scenes really had me on the edge of my seat.
And yet what I liked the most is that the book wasn’t all about that – it had a great story to it as well. It was a strong storyline with characters to match. I really found myself getting into it.
After reading this book I am definitely looking forward to reading book 2!

I absolutely loved this book! From beginning to end I was completely captivated. The characters were brilliant – Nathaniel was everything that I wanted him to be and I love Bryer – she was confident, sassy with a slight naivety and defensiveness towards relationships because of her past. They both had a great amount of chemistry and I was rooting for them the whole way through! I had so many emotions whilst reading this story and the author did a really good job with bringing these out in the characters. This author isn’t new to me so I knew I would be in for a good read and I can 100% say this is going to be one fantastic trilogy!
I cannot wait to read the second book in the trilogy!!!

This book has a little bit of everything. There is passion, mystery, and angst. You can’t put it down! I enjoyed following Nathan and Bryer’s relationship. Nathan couldn’t help but want to change his ways when it came to Bryer. I was pretty invested in their relationship so I had to keep reading. I highly recommend this book! No moment or heartbeat is promised.

The world stopped for one second and I took a breath.

Nathan and Bryer had declared their love,

their hopes and dreams for the future were solidified.

They’d been through many hurdles and conquered them all.

Until the past caught up with them, Cash the smooth-taking lawyer from Austin had always won, and this would be no exception. He had one goal, to tear them apart. With no moral compass, he would go to great lengths to have her again. One more chance to love Bryer.

But Nathan didn’t give up easily, and if it was a fight Cash wanted, a fight he’d get. Nathan knew nothing would break their love; he was certain of it.

But when Bryer was put to the test she had to choose, the past or the future.

And that path was unclear.

Ultimately, would she stand by the man she loved today, or the love from her past?

Which man would hold her heart?

Forgotten Truth (Forgotten #1) by Virginia Wine was a great 5 star read.

Bryer is starting over after a horrible experience of finding her fiance in bed with another woman. She has this personal trainer that has gotten her attention in many ways. She finally decides to take the first step and ask him out.

Nathan isn’t the type of guy to have more than one night with a woman. However..there is something about Bryer that calls to him. Sensing that he shouldn’t take things fast with her, he tries to be considerate and go slow with her. As they move forward something from Nathan’s past comes back to haunt him.

What will happen when Bryer learns about Nathan’s secret?

Overall this was a great read. I really liked Bryer’s thoughts, especially the ones about Nathan. She was a great strong character. I really liked her friend Gen. Nathan grew on me and by the end I loved him. I was pulled in by Virgiinia’s writing and didn’t want to stop until I was done. I can’t wait to see what the next book brings for this couple. The story was interesting and full of suspense and there is a lot to keep you intrigued but I found it hard to gel with the characters. I felt they could have been more and I was not able to relate to them. I like them, don’t get me wrong but I just needed more from them. The story is fast paced but interesting and Virginia’s writing style held my attention but I would have loved to have a bit more information and background. Forgotten Truth (Forgotten #1)Forgotten Truth by Virginia Wine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Forgotten Truth is the first book in the Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. I first became a fan of Virginia Wine when I read the Surviving Series so was excited to get the chance to start another series of hers. Having now read Forgotten Truth, I can say that this is going to be a fantastic trilogy that I’m going to want to read again.
This story pulled me in from the very beginning and it still hasn’t let me go. I just NEED to read what comes next. Be prepared to be taken on a rollercoaster journey through this book that will drag out every emotion from you.
Nathaniel (Nathan) James runs a gym with his best friend. He’s known as a bit of a player and he has no plans to settle down with one woman. Bryer Reid is one of Nathan’s clients at the gym and looks forward to her one on one session with him on a Saturday morning, even though he tortures her for that hour. Unknown to the other both have had an eye on each other for some time, so when Bryer invites him out for ice cream he jumps at the chance.
I loved Bryer and Nathan’s story. Both have issues from their past and in this story we get a very deep insight into Nathan’s past. Nathan’s story is heartbreaking and very compelling to read and judging by the way we are left at the of this book, I think we might get much more of Bryer’s story in the 2nd book which I can’t wait to read.

Bryer starts a new life after a painful breakup and ends up living near her best friend Gen. She has no idea what she’s in store for now that she has met Nathan the hot trainer at the gym she works out at and he owns.

Nathan is nothing like you would expect him to be to a point. But Bryer is a game changer for him.

This book was hard for me to put down. I was having a tough night sleeping, I picked it up to read a few pages to try and fall back to sleep. I glanced up and I had read over a quarter of the book.

This story grabs you in a very unexpected way and I loved it. There was some drama and lots of suspense and amazing hot romance.

I can’t wait to read the next book, think it’s going to be a good one.

Forgotten Truth Virginia Wine a five-star read that doesn’t want to be forgotten. This is number one in the Forgotten series and I can’t wait for number two, there is drama and chemistry a plenty in this story and it bursts from the page. Bryer was great, starting over is hard to do, believe me I’ve been there, but she handles it well, and we all know what we shouldn’t do, but sometimes its just not that easy. Nathan, well with her past I can see why Bryer would avoid him, but could he change for the right one? Well you need to read to find out but be aware that there is so much more than just the story between these two even though it’s a great story.
