What’s Left of Me by Kimberly Lewis – Review by Jenni Bishop

What's Left of MeWhat’s Left of Me by Kimberly Lewis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cole has been running from his past for four years because he can’t forgive himself. Returning to his parent lake house, to get himself together before seeing any one is his plan. No one knows he is back in town. Jenna hears something outside the house and panics. After creeping through the house and hiding the front door opens and she comes face to face with her intruder. Both are just as surprised as the other to find out who they are faced with. Now, here he is standing in front of the one person he came home for and determined not to make the mistake of letting her go again. But can he overcome his past to make a future with her? Will he walk away and lose any chance at happiness?

I found myself in tears reading this book. I was emotionally invested to the main character, Cole. It is a sign of a good story teller when that happens. Kimberly Lewis has written a good book. I wish the story was much longer, as it is only a short story.
