A Snow Covered Nightmare: Refuge Series Book Two by Debbie Zello is a great and well written story. It blew me away and kept me turning page after page and intrigued every step of the way. I loved the main characters and they often had me laughing so hard, tears were flowing. The story starts of with a bam and continues all the way pulling you in more and more word after word. Falling in love with the characters was as easy as the flow of the tale. This story has mystery and suspense, romance and murder, heartbreak and love. It is a bit of an emotional ride when doing the right thing is so wrong and painful. Debbie has written a wonderful story with believable characters that will captivate you. This is definitely one story that you don’t want to miss out on.

I loved that this wasn’t just another love story has mystery, suspense it was full of passion. This book is started right from the very beginning. It didn’t start off slow, everything happened right from the very get go and it was awesome. The characters are well developed and It’s a good all-round story, with different sides of the story revealed that will suck you in from the first page until the last and you won’t be able to put it down. Briah Spencer’s is the sole witness to her boss’s murder and her life would never be the same again. Once she had identified the killer as none other than Denver’s biggest crime boss, David Slater, her head had a price on it. Aiden Baldwin was one of Denver’s finest homicide detectives. His job was to keep Briah safe long enough to testify. His heart had plans of its own. Soon her life and his found that rock and hard place where decisions were impossible and devastating. Briah is sent into witness protection and Aiden to the bottom of a whisky bottle. Briah felt safe in the mountains. They were her refuge from life’s realities so she decides lose her cares on the slopes with the wind blowing them past her. Will the mountains hide her from the two men that want her? What a cute and funny romance! Plot Twist is Book 3 in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. Although this is the 3rd book in the series you can read this as a standalone. However, characters from the other books are in this one so my suggestion is to read in order. Lindy is a curvy, quiet teacher by day but on stage is where she really shines. Meric is an Accountant that loves to be the spotlight! Meric wasn’t looking for anything but fun seeing as though he is coming out of a marriage. That is until he heard Lindy sing. Lindy has the most beautiful voice. Both of them have auditioned for a musical at the community theater. Lindy’s only problem is her self-confidence except when it comes to her singing. She is a bit on the heavier side and she thinks that she is just plain clumsy. Meric is so enamored by her that he befriends her. He truly does see her and along the way helps her come out of her shell. They are super sweet together and the connection that they have is amazing. This book is definitely a HEA. There isn’t any graphic sexy scenes but just like the other books, this story doesn’t need it. I love how the author uses plus size female character leads. There aren’t many authors out there that do. It makes this story very relatable and in turn a page turner! I would definitely recommend this book!

WOW! K.L. Montgomery hit the nail on the head with Fat Girl! I was seriously enthralled with this book being a plus sized woman myself this hit home in a really good way! Claire is pushing 40 and has just recently become a single mom because she just went through a divorce. Not having the right self-esteem can hurt someone. However, when you have a gay bestie who just happens to be a therapist…well let’s just say that closing out her 30’s with a bang is on her way! Re-learning how to take better care of yourself physically and mentally can be a true struggle. One that most women fight with on a daily basis, no matter their size. Not Claire though…this woman takes it in stride and fights with everything she has. This book is funny and charismatic. I loved every bit of this book! It was also relatable, which in turn made this story a page-turner! I couldn’t put this book down! THE STRUGGLE IS DEFINITLEY REAL! Let’s get to the part where Claire tries to find love. Again, something that I can relate to because when you have to turn to online dating, which is becoming more and more popular, it’s still difficult. I can totally vouch for this! So all in all, this book is awesome! I have already started telling people about this book. I can’t wait to read more from this author and I hope they are all like this one!

This is a cute romantic comedy. It is book three in the Rehoboth series but can be read as a stand-alone. The story takes place during a theatre production which has some backstage romances. Of course crazy things happen but the show must go on. The director does a complete rewrite a few weeks before opening night with a new “plot twist”.
I found the main characters were cute. Meric is a somewhat neurotic accountant with a touch of OCD. Lindy is a clutzy plus size woman with a voice like an angel. Meric has been burned by his ex-wife but can’t stop his feelings for Lindy. Lindy has low self esteem and doesn’t believe anyone can ever be attracted to her. Being in the play helped her gain confidence and come out of her she’ll. It was nice to see her growth. It was well written but to be honest, I enjoyed other books in this series more. If your looking for a light, quick read, this is it.

The second book in the A Four Horsemen series, by C.A. King, is Drawing Strength from Words. The author has a truly creative imagination and that comes through beautifully in the stories shared. Gabrielle, another of the horsemen, is paired with Ryder as the main characters within this second part of the series. These are dynamically unique characters that somehow work together when least expected. I found the combination both intense and refreshing. C.A. King continues to know how to keep readers fully engaged throughout the story and sitting on the edge waiting to see what is waiting just around the next corner. Beyond brilliant!!

A.S. Roberts’ Brody is the first in the Default Distraction series. This contemporary romance was an excellent read and kick-off to the series. I loved Brody’s character and how he fits within different dynamics. He’s a box waiting to be opened and discovering all the wonderful treasures inside. Pair him with Amy, the options instantly turned limitless. There was humor, disappointment, compassion and many more emotionally aspects built into the pages of this story that made it perfectly heartwarming and a pleasure to read. Along the way, the author gives us glimpses of supporting characters and potential pairings for upcoming books within the series. This is absolutely one of those that I will be anxiously awaiting to read what’s next.
XPosed is the first book in the Code Raven series by Lynda Filler. This series centres around the Raven Group, which is a top-secret special ops team- and the series chronicles the action-packed missions they embark on. There is some brilliant action, with suspense, a cross-country/ intercontinental adventure, danger, intrigue, covert ops, life and death, assassins, cyber warfare, Cartels, CIA, and drama.
After meeting all the characters in the Prequel, Code Raven, I was excited to begin the adventures with this book and I am happy to say that Ms. Filler didn’t disappoint. This book has quite a lot packed into a small space, but reading it feels like a much bigger novel (in a good way). I enjoyed getting to know the characters we met in the prequel, a little bit better. This is great team of characters that easily enticed me into their story and kept me avidly following along. I love all the of the Raven Group Team, but Lucy really made an impact in this book and admire her all the more now after reading XPosed.
The book is a fast-paced and is a very quick and easy read. I can’t wait to go on another adventure with Luke and the rest of the team in the next book! Bring on book #2!

Tightrope Book Two by Maddie Wade is the conclusion to Lexi and Hunter’s story. Book one has to be read before reading this book as it picks up where book one left off. I couldn’t wait to read this book once I finished book one and I was definitely not disappointed.
Lexi is heart broken. She didn’t expect her life to turn out this way but she’s decided she’s going to move forward and take care of what she needs to deal with. She isn’t going to be able to trust Hunter after everything he’s put her through and she’s come to terms with that. That is until Hunter shows up and he isn’t giving up so easily this time.
Hunter really screwed up. He realizes the error of his ways and now will stop at nothing to get get Lexi back. He is determined to prove she can trust him.

Brody by A.S. Roberts a five-star read that will distract you. This is the first book in the Default Distraction series and the rest of the band and books can’t come soon enough. The old adage money can’t buy you happiness has never been in a position where you only have 3 items bought in your shop all day and bills that need paying, but on the other hand even when you have more than you will ever need like a Rockstar who rules the world doesn’t mean you will be happy either. But when you have chemistry that blows your socks off, money is the last thing on your mind. I love of the little details in this story, the description of a blue pair of gloves, the rolling of pastry the simple things that make the story have a depth that will suck you in and a heat that will melt even the coldest of hearts. A.S. Roberts I didn’t think you could better the Fated series, but you surprised me, you even made me a happy lady with a great wedding that brought a tear to my eye.

Second book in the series where we meet the 2nd Hill sibling, Will. I don’t know which one I like the most but one thing is certain: Kadie comes up with the most patient and swoon worthy heroes. Don’t worry if you haven’t read the first book, this one can definitely be read as a standalone.
We get an instalove between Will and Rusty, although Rusty fights it with all her being. Being raised by a single father who didn’t know how to deal with girls, Rusty has been love deprived. Needless to say her trust in men is nonexistent. But Will’s patience and love broke those walls one by one. Sweet, intense and steamy story that made me want to visit Texas and one of those rodeos (coming from a city girl in Europe) 🙂

Resisting the Rancher is the second book in the Hills of Texas Series by Kadie Scott. Ms. Scott is a new-to-me author and I am really happy that I stumbled on her book, because I really enjoyed it and I will definitely be reading more of her work in the future. This is the second book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone, which is what I did. There are characters in this book who had their own story, in book #1- and they have intrigued me enough to want to go back and read their story as well.
This book is a great contemporary/western/cowboy romance. There was drama, chemistry, some emotion, passion, and wonderful characters.
Rusty Walker is quite an accomplished young woman- she is top level barrel racer, a brilliant horse trainer, a masterful rider, and can run a ranch with her eyes closed. But, even as talented as she is- she can’t seem to put a foot right when it comes to her controlling, hard-hearted father. She constantly feels the need to prove herself to him, but he never acknowledges her skills, let alone show her any affection. Rusty wants to take over the family ranch when her father retires, which she hopes will be soon. But instead, he announces that she won’t have anything to do with the ranch unless she marries within the next year. Rusty is shocked- she doesn’t even have a boyfriend, let alone a potential husband on hand. She really wants to be able to put her mark on the family ranch, but she has to face the fact that her dreams may be going up in smoke. What can she do? Because things don’t look good for her, and she may be left with no choice but to leave the only home she’s ever known.
Williams Hill is a cowboy rancher, who is building a business providing stock to the rodeo circuit. He is a gifted horse trainer, and a savvy businessman. While at the latest rodeo, he notices a sexy redhead singing her heart out in the car stopped next to his at the lights. There is a spark of awareness between them, before she takes off when the lights change. Will can’t stop thinking about her but thinks he probably will never see her again. So, imagine his surprise when he sees her at the rodeo- but whenever he tries talking to her, she shuts him down. But as the days pass and they keep bumping into each other, she slowly begins to thaw.
But she won’t allow herself to trust him completely, because she’s been burnt in the past- not to mention having a father like hers has given Rusty quite a lot of issues. When Will discovers who she is and what her father had demanded of her, he makes her a deal she can’t refuse. What is the deal you ask? And does Rusty’s suspicious nature get the better of her and end up derailing their blossoming romance? And will she finally win her father’s respect? All this and more can be discovered between the cover of this great book. You really should uncover all the answers for yourself. It really is worth the read!
Now I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series, if this book is any indication, they are set to be awesome!

Luke, by Kimberly Lewis, is the third book in The McKades of Texas. This romantic comedy was a reading pleasure. Karlie and Luke were absolutely hilarious in this story. I enjoyed the setting, it was rustic, heart warming and perfect for the characters. This story made me smile, cry, crack up laughing and sit there in awe. It was such a pleasant read that I couldn’t put it down. Kimberly Lewis is a talented author, it shines through into her work.

Two Hearts in Accord is the seventh book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series by Tamara Ferguson. I always enjoy Ms. Ferguson’s stories and love the characters and stories she weaves around Crystal Rock and Dragonfly Pointe- so I was thrilled to see this new book show up on my feed. I couldn’t wait to dive in and see what this story was all about, because I know whatever Ms. Ferguson delivers I am going to enjoy- and that is definitely the case with this great story. Right from the get go
I got swept into this beautiful story and felt like I was experiencing it right alongside the characters. The story is really very touching, sweet, and romantic- and has just the right amount of drama, mystery and suspense to keep me avidly reading along to find out what happens. The author has packed a lot into a small space, but she did it beautifully. The story is really well written, and the characters are fully developed, with a realism that only comes from the pen of a masterful author. Anna and Neil are fantastic, and I was charmed by them- cheering them on from the sidelines as I followed along.
Again, Ms. Ferguson tackles some sensitive issues, but does so in a caring, considerate and informative manner- giving us a glimpse into the recovery process of a wounded warrior, some of what they go through and the toll that it has on them. But, as with every story Ms. Ferguson tackles in her wounded warrior series, I really appreciate the sense of hope and courage that she infuses into the storylines.
This is a fast paced, quick, and easy read. It can be read as a standalone, but as the series revolves around Crystal Rock and the close-knit community there- I really recommend the rest of the books in the series too. Reading them will help build a much bigger picture, where you will discover interconnected storylines, character connections and gain a much better appreciation for these books/series!

Sweet Hollow Women by Holly Tierney Bedord is a multi-generational saga that follows four generations of a family tree through their search for happiness. The best way I can describe this book is it felt like a cross between The Waltons and The Gilmore Girls (without the comedic elements). There was a lot of hardship, despair, heartbreak, poverty, disappointments, dilemmas, ignorance, sadness, frustration, and struggles- and not a lot ‘wins’. The family dynamics was interesting, and there were parts where the characters did chase their dream/s, and were true to themselves- but mainly this book seemed to me to be about how choices can have far reaching consequences and/or effects.
I am a big Holly Tierney Bedord fan, having read most of her books now- but I have to say that this was my least favourite of them all. I hate to say this because I really do love her books- but this one depressed and frustrated me.
The story is told from multiple perspective, and jumps from character to character, from past to present and back again, and from generation to generation- which was both distracting and somewhat confusing. The story itself was interesting- but there was just so many jumps and so much information that it became a distraction from the actual storyline (if that makes sense).
I liked Carasine as a character, and would have preferred for the story to concentrate on her more- with less input from the others. I think if that were the case the story would have read better. I found it difficult to like or connect with most of the other characters.
The story was a little slow to get going and there were parts in the story that seemed to lag or drag. Which is so unlike any of the other books of Ms. Tierney’s that I have read. So maybe it is just me and I just don’t ‘get’ this book- so you should probable read the story for yourself and come to your own conclusion…
I will definitely be reading Ms. Bedord’s next book, because like I’ve mentioned before- I normally absolutely love her work.
I will revisit this book again in a month or two and see if I still feel the same way, or if I was just having an ‘off’ day.

A Snow covered Nightmare by Debbie Zello a five-star read that certainly isn’t a nightmare read. This is the second book in the Refuge series, this is a series but they can be read as a stand-alone I have read both books and plan to read the rest as Debbie Zello is a great writer that will captivate you. This story is fast-paced and full of action it will keep you hooked all through the story. Aiden and Briah have such a powerful story to tell, it builds and builds a great tension and the storytelling is next to none, you will watch as they grow to love each other and face so much together. If you don’t read any of the other books in the series try this one, it will stay with you long after you have finished the story.

Brody by A.S. Roberts was my first book by this author. This love at first sight rocker romance was a great read and boy did it have some steamy sex scenes; who loves a good dirty talking lead singer – THIS GIRL!
Brody first laid eyes on Amy at her Nan’s shop then after a few little accidents; he couldn’t stay away from her. Brody loved the fact that Amy didn’t know that he was a famous rock-star and wanted her to get to know the real Brody. And we all know that this decision is going to backfire on him at some point.
I hate to say this but I took me some time to get into this book at first, but by the end, I was so glued to my kindle. I am so looking forward to reading more from this series, I see some very interesting things about to happen.
A quick read with an interesting twist on Romeo and Juliet. Didn’t read Romeo and Juliet? That’s ok because this is a little different and a lot sexier. Fur Verona is a shifter remake with what starts out as a family feud but turns into something more.
While the ending leads you to believe all is well, it also leads you to believe there could be more to this adventure.
I enjoyed the characters of Rome and Jules. I loved how they knew they shouldn’t be together but figured out a plan to make it work. I think each of their packs had elder members who could not see past their own mistakes and their long-held hatred. I am interested in seeing if McNamee takes this group of characters further.
Nursing Myself Back is the third and final book in the Tryst of Fate Series by Kara Liane. It is a contemporary romance about finding love unexpectedly, overcoming obstacles, and taking a chance on happiness. This is the third book in the series, but it could be read as a standalone. The series is set around a group of friends, but each book focuses on one particular couple. I do recommend reading the other books too, because they make for great reading and you get to meet some fantastic characters.
This story is a very quick and easy read- but have a box of tissues on hand because it is quite an emotional story that pulled on my heart strings. The story was well balanced with some lighter funny moments, witty quips and banter.
The characters were really great, I found myself rooting for them right from the beginning. The romance is steamy- and the characters have great chemistry. Their story is well worth the read!
A sexy and enjoyable read!

There is a bit of an emotional ride for the main female character and my heart went out to her and the life she had been brought up in. This is one story that you don’t want to miss out on.

TWO HEARTS IN ACCORD (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 7) by Tamara Ferguson is yet another great addition to this series. Tamara’s word building and vibrant and rich storytelling allows you to imagine the beautiful setting in which this series takes place and the absolutely amazing men and women rebuilding their lives after being wounded in war. I have read each and every book in this series and have loved each and every one. This is a quick and easy read but engages you as you walk hand in hand and step by step with the characters. There is always a bit of drama and mystery thrown in that gives the stories that little bit of a twist. Have a read you know you want to.
Snow Jewel by Natalina Reis is the second book in the Jewels Chronicles series and carries on from the first book Desert Jewel. You need to read the books in order otherwise you will miss out on so much of the story. Natalina writes characters that you feel a connection with and the world in which they live become real and vibrant. The journey is full of action and danger, love and determination and keeps you intrigued from go to woe. Will their relationship stand the test of time and all the obstacles put in their way? Fur Verona by Gwyn McNamee is a fast paced quick and easy paranormal shifter romance novella. This story brings mystery and drama, love and angst, hatred and forgiveness. All this and more keep you guessing and turning page after page with a few surprise twists. Gwyn has once again woven her magic and proven her talent in writing which is addictive and all encompassing. Her word building and character development makes for one sexy and explosive story.
Flirt: A College Romance (What Happens on Campus Series) by M.L. Sparrow 5 out of 5 stars Flirt is book in What Happens On Campus series written by M.L. Sparrow and it the second book that I have read buy this author. Flirt is an adult sports /nerd romance that hits all the right spots. We get to see plenty of action on this campus. The characters are well written and are mature for their ages especially what they have been through. The plot was believable with college kids and their struggles and triumphs. We also get to see the awesome characters from book one Player…. Things aren’t what they appear to be Riley Murphy has to give up her promising gymnastics career due to a devastating injury, so she decides to join her twin sister at St Joseph’s University in Texas. Finding a best friend in her roommate, Chloe, she nonetheless finds herself going off the rails as she indulges in drugs, alcohol and boys. Riley realizes with all the partying she has done that it turns into something she can’t control… Too ashamed to confide in her friends or family, and with a boyfriend who does nothing but feed her addictions, the person she turns to is Cameron Lucas, someone she knew as a child. Cam has loved Riley since he was a kid and used to go to work with his mama at the Murphy estate, but she was always so far out of his league. Now he’s beginning to realize that he never really knew her in the first place… However, that realization only deepens his feelings. But the question is, how far is he willing to go to help someone who won’t help them self? And can he discover the demons driving her to self-destruct? Can Cam save Riley? Who We Might’ve Been is an exceptional novel because it is so realistic, and the characters are so relatable. The series of novels follows one Billy Dixon as she embarks on her junior year at college. Many of the ups and downs she has encountered throughout the series are brought back through context clues and scene structure, establishing history. It is that established history that makes the story so gripping because the author does not spend time recounting everything, she delivers the history in essential scenes with the minimalist of details give the scenes depth and power. The history between the characters adds context to the story, the characters, and their dynamics with one another, creating an excellent story for the readers. This history serves to make the character very relatable because it defines her actions and her feelings, recounting her struggles and accomplishments in achieving her happiness. That is such a relatable and realistic concept to bring to life, and Pitchford does that beautifully in her style of writing. Her style of writing is incredibly easy to understand while it presents a complex narrative. Who We Might’ve Been is more than just some story about a girl trying to navigate through her decisions and struggles in college; it is about her journey and her health.
Billie suffers from a form of depression and alcohol abuse, and her struggle to take care of herself is impressive. Just because she is on medication and in therapy does not make everything 100% better, it is a struggle, a struggle for her to maintain that health and take care of herself. Moreover, with the complications in her life, it is not easy. For Pitchford to address that and show the struggle is beautiful. It is not only well done, but it is well done with justice, highlighting how medication, while helpful, isn’t a 100% cure like many people think. People need to want to get help, they need to want to be happy, and healthy, but that is not always easy. Billie highlights one end of the spectrum regarding that while Dahlia highlights the other end.
Dahlia is a significant character regarding this because she serves as a foil for Billie. It makes their relationship resonate with the reader because when it comes to the two characters and the development of their relationship, the reader has to be able to believe that the nature of this growth. Dahlia is a toxic individual because she does not want help and has a very warped idea of love. Dahlia does not know what it means to love and be loved, and while Billie wants to stay away, this goodness in her wants to help as well. She understands, she can resonate with Dahlia, thus helping the reader understand her, but this serves as a teaching lesson. Again, someone can only help someone who wants help; one cannot help someone otherwise and the way the story and author both show that is impactful. It can generate empathy on the side of the reader and serve as a powerful teaching moment as well. Billie’s internal narrative is compelling, it is easy to understand, and it helps the reader get a sense through description and tone, of what the author is trying to get at understanding mental illness. Billie may want to help her friend, but by trying to help someone who does not want it, she puts her wellbeing at risk. That is a red alert to readers to look at their own lives. Again, it is a teaching moment that no one should ever sacrifice his or her wellbeing for another’s happiness.
Pitchford also uses Dahlia to address consent, another important topic. With the #MeToo movement on the rise, consent is a hot topic, so addressing it is risky. However, the way the Pitchford does that is by using a female as a violator of consent. Consent goes both ways and women are more than capable of violating this as much as men, so for the author to address that within the confines of a complicated relationship is essential. To see it play out in the novel is incredible and creates great tension in the plot.
The complexity of the novel and the character dynamics adds dimension and depth to the novel. The realism and thought process that went into developing this story was incredible and served to make a grounded story. There’s a freshness to that will make readers love these characters because they can relate to them and addresses essential topics without dragging them down with over the top drama, making every scene as impactful and compelling as the last.

Nursing Myself Back, by Kara Liane, is the third novel in the A Tryst of Fate series. This contemporary romance easily captured my interest and maintained throughout the book. I found the author’s writing style full of depth, challenge and steady flow. Full of emotional charges that are well defined, dialogue between characters was thoughtfully placed and done in a way that came across as effortless. Some authors put too much into a story making it too much, but Kara Liane did an excellent job of throwing in just the right mix of detail, definition along with steamy intrigue that created a very well written romance.

Flirt is the second book in the What Happens on Campus series by M.L Sparrow. This book can be read as a standalone, which is what I did, but I can honestly say that I enjoyed it so much that I will be going back and diving into book one the first chance I get! This is one of the better college romances that I’ve read to date. It had everything you could want, and then some! I was so engrossed in it that I flew through the whole book in a matter of hours.
As with the other books of Ms. Sparrows that I have read, this book is beautifully written- the storyline definitely pulls you in and before you know it you’re hooked. The characters are so superbly crafted- not merely words on a page, they actually come to ‘life’ under Ms. Sparrows gifted fingers- becoming fully realised and complex individuals who are realistic and believable- with their own personalities, quirks and flaws. This is yet again another style and ‘genre’ from some of Ms. Sparrows other books and prove just how talented she truly is- as she seems to be able to write any subject, any genre… and do it incredibly well.
Riley Murphy’s life had been turned upside down after a devastating incident. She ends up attending university in Texas, where her sister is also enrolled. She manages to form a close friendship with her roommate and is looking forward to the freedom that college life offers. As her social life ramps up, Riley seems set on a course of self-destruction- large does of alcohol, drugs, and college boys quickly become her focus and she begins to lose control.
Cameron Lucas (Cam) has known Riley since they were children and he’s loved her all this time. But will he be able to help her through this, especially when it seems she isn’t willing to help herself? What was the incident that upended her life and set her on a self-destructive path? Will she find her way again, or will her demons win out in the end? What does the future hold for these two?
Another brilliant read from this gifted writer!

Flirt: A College Romance (What Happens on Campus Book 2) by ML Sparrow is the second book in the series. It follows a college student who has been struggling to find her way after her life long dreams came to an end. The story was a bit of a roller coaster ride, a bit haunting and a bit on the dark side when having to deal with issues of a young adult who doesn’t make smart choices. I wanted to smack some sense into the main female character of this story but it was a good read. Reading YA stories often instill angst in me as a reader and this had a whole lot of them. If you like angst in your YA college romances then this is a read for you.

Player: A College Romance (What Happens on Campus Book 1) by ML Sparrow and is a Young Adult college romance story and the first book in the series but you do not have to be a young adult to enjoy this story.The story is well written and any one who loves this genre will love this. The story is told in the different POV’s of the main characters which, as always, gives you that much needed insight to a character that you would not otherwise get. Unfortunately, running away does not fix problems, they follow you everywhere but learning to live with those problems and forgive yourself, then you will truly heal. Of course a hunky football player and a strong emotional connection with said hunk, certainly helps.
This story will please those of you who love YA college romance stories. I am off to read the next book, Flirt.

Flirt: A College Romance is the second book in the What Happens on Campus series by M L Sparrow. This story was a lot heavier than I was expecting even though I knew what Riley was like in the first book. Found myself wiping tears away a couple of times.
Riley was hurting and didn’t know how to deal with it. Instead of talking to friends or family she starts partying and it goes down hill rapidly.
Cameron is a sweetheart and I wasn’t sure if he was right for Riley for that reason. He hasn’t had the easiest life but is making sure he has a better life in the future.
There were a few instances I wanted to just shake Riley and everyone else because of the way they were acting with her and found myself having a hard time being sympathetic even though I knew I should be.
I’m already looking forward to the next book in the series and hope it comes out soon.
