My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Must Be Crazy (Darling Cove Book #3) by Deborah Garland was a sweet, light hearted, frustrating, whirlwind romance, that like the other books in the series, had me hooked from start to finish.

Not my first read by this author, or this series. They are all standalones with recurring characters, there aren’t many spoilers, but I do suggest reading this series in order, just because the timeline is chronological.

This time we are following Sky and her crazy adventure through love, misunderstandings, stupid ex’s, and what it means to truly trust someone. I have to say, this book out of all three, was for me, the best. I liked Sky from the other books, strong independent and bluntly awesome. She speaks her mind and doesn’t have a lot of time for BS. She gets stuck between a rock and a hard place when her idiot of a ex shows up with a case, and offering a chunk of money, that because of events in past books, she couldn’t pass up. As much as I wanted to slap her, I can see were she was coming from, but, hell, the girl should have asked for help before it got to that, no return point.

Edward, I need me one of those. Charming, hot, heart of gold, a little bit stupid, single father, and volunteer firefighter. The guy is as close to perfection as you can get, but, as much of a fighter and alpha he is, dude learned a hard lesson about cutting corners, and, not divulging some important info, that could have solved a portion of his and sky problems, before they arose. I will say that, he didn’t walk away, he knew what he wanted and was going to do everything to make it work. There was no quitting, with every problem, misunderstanding, misstep, he fought, and did his best to turn it around. It was such a different approach, and was a fresh of breath air.

Overall this story, this series is a must read. Outside of the amazing well build characters, solid plot and multi POV. The writing was so well constructed that when the POV switch it was like you were reading two different stories that so happen to be taking place at the same time. When those stories collided, it was like magic and, man, I was hooked like you wouldn’t believe. I do hope there is more to this series, as their stories are still fresh, new. I believe there is still so much more that can be build and explored upon.

So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will get lossed in this wicket love story, that will not only get those feels kick started, but have you hiding a blushing from all the hot steaming smut scenes.

Happy Reading
