5 Star Player ( 21st Century Courtesan Book 1) By Pamela DuMond is a wonderfully written book that I had a hard time putting down once I started reading . This isnt my first Book by this author and she never ceases to amaze me with her writing style and her ability to grab your attention from the beginning and keeps it till the end. Evie is a woman who hasn’t had the best life but she has done the best she can Evie has a special gift and that gift has helped her to make some money while helping men heal. Dylan is one of Evie’s clients Will she help him heal or break him?I highly recommend reading this book especially if you want to know what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

What a fantastic ride!! This book and series took my breath away. The author does a masterful job weaving the suspenseful plot line and fashioning such great characters. This book is not a stand-alone and truly should be read as set forth in the series. An amazing book. Loved it!
5 Star Forgetting Ophelia: A Novel by Julie C. Gardner. I loved reading this book about heartbreak and also betrayal. I couldn’t put it down once I started. This story had my emotions all over the place from happy to sad,to wanting to cry. In this book Ophelia aka Lia goes on a journey to find herself and she is determined to figure out who she is. Lia is definitely my favorite character. I highly recommend reading this book you won’t be disappointed I know I wasn’t. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Ring Tru by Janice Whiteaker is book one in the Thick as Thieves series. The story grabbed me in from the very beginning. Although I was confused a little bit as to what Gertrude was doing but it all became clear when Will was brought back into the picture. Will has left her high and dry in the past, being her ex-husband and all. And now she’s not so quick to trust him. But unfortunately for the both of them, they have to learn to get along. The connection between them jumped off the page no matter the push back they were giving. This was an easy and fast read. The emotion between the characters makes you feel like you are right in the story. This was the first book by this author and I am excited to read more in this series

My Tragic Life: Brothers of Camelot Prequel was a great 5 star read and book two in the My Life series and I was super excited to get my hands on it.
We continue with Aless’s story. She is very good with her weapons and she definitely shows up her Capos men. You get pulled in right from the beginning and won’t want to stop until your done. We get lots of action, suspense, several different emotions, violence and so much more.
Her Capo is looking for the right man to be by her side, why won’t he let her choose “the one”? She has gotten him to agree to her going to University, will her plan finally work? Can she get what she needs to get out?
Boy, I really love the chemistry between Luigi and Aless. He vows that he will not touch her while she’s underage but you can sure feel the heat coming up between them. Although she has plans to find someone outside the family. Grayson, please wait for me.
All of the secondary characters were great. Necie Navone does such a great job with her writing, you feel like your right there with everyone. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series to see where things go from here. If you’re looking for a series that pulls you right in, 1-click and get started on this one. You will love it!
Must Be Crazy is the third book in the Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland, this can be read as a standalone but recommend you read the first two books. I have been waiting for Skye’s book since Must Love Fashion; there was just something about her character that I connected with. But it was Must Have Faith that had me really wanting Edward and Skye together. They had this instant connection with one another. So when I started Must Be Crazy, I knew I wasn’t going to be able to put this book down. Besides the great love story of Edward and Skye, there was DRAMA from someone’s ex.
I always have a full heart and tears in my eye when I read about men or women taking on a stepchild like they are their own. It was great catching up with the rest of this family, at one point they were all living under one roof – sorry that is just too many people in one house. But when Greg, Gwen, and Skye are all together you know there will be laughing. This book had everything you will love – it was sweet, funny, emotional and sexy.

Embattled Hearts Book One Of The Lost And Found Series by J. M. Madden
5-Stars This novel was amazing. I could not put it down and was hooked from page one. There were several things that tugged at my heart strings as I read. I loved Shannon and John’s character. I really enjoyed their building relationship as the book progressed. I also enjoyed how the author portrayed the vets in this novel. Each one has their own struggles with their disabilities and to see how they lived with such strength was beautiful. I feel that this novel could be very inspirational to many because of that. I totally did not foresee what happened with Shannon and the ending was amazing. I felt so many different emotions while reading this novel and cant wait to read more from this author.

Kira recently divorced her former husband. Jamie is recovering from the loss of his wife 6 years ago. The two meet at a small town game where Jamie is umping. Taking a chance, they began to date. They both have a lot of baggage from their past to work through. This was a sweet romantic novel. I found the characters easy to relate to and they were very realistic. The storyline itself was very realistic and easy to follow. I was amazed at how much guilt Jamie had to work through on top of other things. It broke my heart. Kira was such an amazing and patient woman. I would not have been able to be patient with the things she was patient with. It seemed that she grew up learning to do that though as revealed through her past story in the novel. Such a great read!

Across From You by Amabel Daniels is a cute and hilarious, fun and ridiculous romantic comedy that will have you laughing at the crazy. It did however take me a little bit to get really invested in the story and the characters but once I was, it was funny and entertaining and filled with crazy misadventures and dramas. The premise is different to other stories and that held half the fun. A viral breakup, an art class, a bridezilla, a wedding planner and sorority girls from hell. These are all the ingredients that once pulled together make for one fun adventure.

What a sweet read that was all about the holiday and a little love along the way. I really loved this story. And cant wait to read more of this town.

This was such an amazing start to a series I quickly became obsessed with. Baseball and Hockey are my two favorite sports so this was hands down a must read from me. It was a sweet, emotional, second chance romance that will suck you in from the beginning and it won’t let you go until the very end.
Kira is a school teacher who is finding herself after a messy divorce. She visits her sister during the summer months and is instantly attracted to the local umpire. I love how she stepped out of her comfort zone and asks him out and he shocks her by saying yes!
Jamie (aka sexy umpire) had his career change in the matter of seconds. His life changed from pro baseball player to chiropractor and umpire. The wounds haven’t healed in his mind but some Kira has changed it all for him.
I absolutely become quickly obsessed with this story. I loved the writing, the characters, the the roller coaster it sent me on. I’m so excited to see where this series takes us!

Distant Memory is Book 3 in the Solum Series by author Colleen S. Myers. I don’t know how many times I can keep writing how incredible this authors book are, each time I have read another book from this author she just continues to get better and better.
With that being said, this is series is the one I have loved the most! Everything about this read captivates me. I highly recommend you read these books in order to really understand each read and just as a whole is a series not be missed! I have been eagerly awaiting this book, and now it over its a bittersweet thing.
This book carries on straight after the events of Book 2 ‘Can’t Forget’ its a smooth seamless transition that flows just like the rest of the book. Throughout this book, we are thrown twists and turns continuously its full of action, adventure and you never tire of it. You cannot put this read down, you are constantly turning the pages wondering what could possibly happen next – yet when it does it’s something you never expect!
Each character that Beta interacts within this book whether they are recurring characters from Book 1 & 2 or new characters, comes across to you as the reader in different ways. But while they may have their own part in Beta’s story it’s Beta’s story that you can’t help bugs be connected with. With each book and especially this one Beta has become even stronger and resilient even with all the choices she has to make.
This read is once again one of the most mentally visual books I have read, I was captivated at every turn, was catapulted into Beta’s story as though it was my own! I highly highly recommend this read & this series, and hope this isn’t the last we get from these amazing characters!

Ring Tru was a unique read for me. A romantic suspense book where the characters were just a bit shady. From the start, I was engrossed and yearning to find out more about the characters. From Tru, the heroine trying to go straight to Will the criminal who let her go for her own protection, you can’t help but love them!
Tru has always done what she needed to survive. But now she is ready to turn over a new leaf and go legit. She only has one more job than she can retire and move on with her life. But dealing with Will, her ex-husband is not what she wants or needs right now. Too bad Will isn’t willing to just let her go.
Will regretted walking away from his ex-wife Tru. But to protect her and get her out of the criminal life he did what needed to be done. He’s changed his spots (sort-of) and now has Tru back in his life and he’s keeping her there. Will they be able to overcome their past and work together to finish the job? Or will outside forces push them past their limits?
Well written, Ms. Whiteaker engages the reader with lots of action and suspense in this book. Fun characters that you identify with help make the book a smooth read. For a first-time author, I was very happy and enjoyed reading this book immensely. I would definitely recommend this author and book. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Deborah Garland has done it again with “Must Be Crazy” the third installment in the Darling Cove series. Make sure you read the previous books before reading this one because they are all amazing and need to be read! This story is about Skye, the oldest Mallory daughter and middle child to Greg and Gwen. Skye has always been kind of a loner, even in her family. She loves them all, but loves her alone time and has secrets to protect. Her whole world comes apart and suddenly, there is Edward the local fire chief. Edward is fiercely protective of his seven year old son, Julian, since Julian’s mother left them three years ago. Between being a fire chief, single dad and an architect, Edward hasn’t had time for a love life. Events throw these two together and boy do they stick! If you have been reading the whole series like I’ve told you to, then you know Edward and Skye were a long time coming! I was so excited to finally read Skye’s story! I love how close the Mallory family has become over the past three books and how we get to keep learning new information about all of the couples. No one book is just about the main couple, everyone is involved and sharing in endless amounts of love! Player is the first book in the 21st Century Courtesan series and what an amazing story it is. This is my first book aby Pamela DuMond and I love her writing style. She has a very descriptive writing style. She draws you into the story with the character story line. The main character in the story is Evie. Evie is a special escort who is also an empath. She has that talent to really help the men who hired her. She is getting ready to retire but she has two more clients to see for the last time. With that in mind she is starting to feel there is something wrong and she cannot shake that feeling. Will one of her last clients be her very last client or will the client be healed by her service?

This is an amazing story! This book is full of so many things! I pretty much rode on a roller coaster of emotions while reading. There were fun times and not so fun times. I will say these two main characters impressed me and I would completely be their friend in real life!
Jamie…just Wow! It’s amazing to me how the mind works. You my friend were dealt a woozie! You coped as well as you could until something forced you to change. Sorry I can’t say any more because of spoilers. But just know this man…..rocks! Mira….big city girl! Trying to take a break from her life. She is a strong woman who does what she needs to survive and help her friends pull through tough times. Both of these two are impressive!
I loved Jamie’s family and friends. They are all so understanding of Jamie’s situation. They also liked Kira and supported her along with Jamie….Very Nice! There are a bunch of supporting characters. Some we meet right away and others we meet later. They all are just as important to moving the story forward. I enjoyed how each has their own story or devil on their shoulder that will come out (hopefully) in later books. I am very interested in Ian and Ben…
This is my first book by this author. I enjoyed the story which flowed very nicely. The characters were deep. I can not wait to read the next in this series.

This is the second book in the Prestian Series and it picks right up where Book 1 ends. DEGREES OF ACCEPTANCE should be read after “Degrees of Innocence”. I would not suggest this be read as a stand-alone.
Katarina and Chase’s relationship continues to develop and grow.
As with the previous story, the writer is very detailed in the writing and how the story moves along. There are multiple characters and events happening that follow from the first story and we get to see more of what makes people the way they are.
This story continued to be told from the female protagonist’s point of view, but we can get a feeling of how others are feeling based on their actions.
This story is a bit more suspenseful than the first and holds the readers interest to follow it to the next installment of this series.

The story Gun by Lee Hayton is a thrilling book that I loved reading. It is a story that hooked me in from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the final page. It is a book that had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It had me quickly turning pages. The day starts out like any other. People get up, go to work, school, wherever they are to be. Then the gunshots ring out and nothing is ever the same. This book tells the story of a group of survivors that find each other and band together. I enjoyed how the story told each person’s actions on the morning it all started and before they all met. Will this band of survivors find a safe place to stay? It is rumored that a neurological virus started the chaos. Is the virus all they have to fear? Read this book to find out. This story does a wonderful job in making you feel the emotions of the characters and how hard some of the choices that they must make really are. My emotions went up and down with theirs and I found myself asking “What would I do if in the same situation?” The book is detailed and I found myself feeling like I was right there with the characters. These survivors begin to realize what they must do to stay alive. Will they be able to make the hard choices they are faced with? There are also additional characters that you read about. It is interesting to read of their part in the story and also when some of them interact with the main characters. Full of suspenseful and chilling moments this is a book that I would recommend reading.

Ok so I’ll start with I am not a sci fi fan, so much so that I am probably one of very few that have to this day never seen even 1 star wars movie…but in saying that I am a huge pet fan, I have many of my own which is what drew me to this collection.
I have read stories by a couple of the authors involved in this collection and they are among some of my favorites what I really loved was finding some new authors to look into as the writing styles throughout were all amazing
This was actually fun to read and definitely outside of my normal choices and if your into the scifi you will love it. I found that I would have given both 4 and 5 stars throughout and although this did not change my mind about the genre i am very glad I gave it a chance because as I said the writing styles alone made it worth it.

Calling the Curveball by Tracey Cramer-Kelly is the first book in The Lawson Family series. This is a second chance romance and I absolutely enjoyed this book!!
Kira and Jamie’s story is such an emotional story. The characters are written so well that they are easily relatable and you can feel the connection they share with each other. Kira and Jamie have both experienced pain in the past and they have to evaluate whether or not they can let those go and experience the attraction between them. I enjoyed following their story and witness them work through their issues to attempt to give each other a chance.
The book flowed very well and I didn’t want to put it down. This is the first book I’ve read by the author and it definitely won’t be the last!

Embrace The Passion is the third Pets in Space book. It is an anthology of science fiction romances, all featuring animals of some description, sold in support of an animal charity. There are 11 stories, each by a different author, and the stories are all very different and enjoyable. The first story I read was Quashi. I was drawn to it as the cute fluffy aliens sounded a bit like tribbles. It turns out they aren’t exactly tribbles, but are similarly cute and disastrous! I liked the main character, Chanda, who is quite funny and relatable as she struggles to make the best out of a situation where she is hopelessly out of her depth! Operation Ark is another great one, particularly if you’re after an array of different space animals! The animals do all seem to resemble Earth animals – they’re mostly introduced as “like x only bigger/a different colour”. But they have a lot of character and it’s an entertaining story! Like Quashi, there’s a mysterious creature no one knows much about that is developed over the course of the story. I liked the space port setting in Starway and the way that Star, the sniffer dog, is introduced to the story. With lots of space politics and covert operations, it’s a gripping story with complex characters! The stories are varied, but have in common exciting extra-terrestrial settings, animals with strong and loveable personalities and three-dimensional protagonists. For me, this is a overall a four star book. I’d recommend it to sci-fi fans who love animals and want to try out lots of different authors!

The story Plague Pit by Marc Alexander is a wonderful mystery/suspense book. It is a story that I enjoyed reading. It had me hooked from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the last page. It is a book that gave me chills down my back and has plenty of thrilling moments. It all begins with the collapse of brickwork that should have been left alone. What happens next will bring chaos, terror, and fear. Through it all Charity, a local radio station presenter and Paul, a scientist, try their best to warn the public of the outbreak and find a cure. I enjoyed reading about Charity and Paul. Charity is a woman who is strong and independent. She is one that speaks her mind and doesn’t shy away from making waves. Paul is a man who was has a history with Charity, however, is finding himself agreeing to help her when she asks. He is passionate about his work and will defend what he does. Does the government have the right to keep the whole truth from the public? Will Charity and Paul be able to help find a cure for the plague? How many will die? Read this book to find out. This story had me turning pages and on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It has some good background information on the plague that ravaged in the past and left so many dead in its wake. Filled with heart-pounding moments this is a wonderfully written story that I would recommend reading.

Calling The Curveball: a Lawson Family Novel by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. This is the first book in a series and I can’t wait to read the others. Its the story of Jamie Lawson a coming up baseball player who has his sights set on the professional level until a tragic accident takes that all away. Blaming himself he moves to a smaller town and tries to forget his past and it works until he meets Kira Walker who is in town visiting her sister trying to recoup from a ugly divorce. This is a story of letting go of the past and moving onto the future of forgetting old dreams and creating new dreams. A sweet and sad story that will keep your attention even after you are finished with the book.

Calling the Curveball was more emotional than I was expecting. In a good way. Jamie has a lot to work through from his past still, luckily Kira is very patient and mature about it all. I love small town love stories and hope the next books have the same sort of feel to them. You know, where everyone knows your business and you have family and friends all over who are close knit. Anyways, these two take things very slow but there are strong feelings there and a good story. I look forward to book 2.

Ring Tru ( Thick As Thieves Book 1) by Janice M. Whiteaker. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but it won’t be my last. It was a short read but I could not put it down. Its the story of Tru who is pulled into the life of thievery by her ex husband. She wants out of this life but has one more job to do. Will shows back up just in time to destroy all Tru’s plans. He broke both their hearts last time trying to protect Tru will he do it again. He feels guilt and shame for dragging her into this life so he wants to make it right no matter the cost. Will Tru be able to ever trust Will again. Read Ring Tru to find out!

5 Star Nathaniel (Dragon Hearts 1) By Carole Mortimer is a fantasy, paranormal, romance book that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. It sucked me in from the beginning till the end .This is my first book by this Author but I’m definitely going to read check out the other books this author has written. Holy Cow ! Chloe and Nathaniel definitely have chemistry, these two are hot and steamy together .Find out what happens when Chloe finds more than just a castle on vacation. I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait until the next one. @ddaugh35
Calling the Curveball (Lawson Family Series) by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. This is a new to me author. This was a really cute and sweet second chance romance book. Jamie was on track to make it in the Major League until he lost his wife and and career chance in an accident. What else can he do except head home to Minnesota. Now his life consists of being an umpire and working in his chiropractic clinic…… Kira needs a getaway…. after an extremely ugly divorce, she head to spend the summer with her sister, what could possibly happen?? Then she see the sexy umpire and does something crazy and asks him out. The chemistry between these two is pretty much automatic. I absolutely loved the way they meshed together. I can not wait to read more from this author.

Calling the Curveball by Tracey Cramer-Kelly is a love story built from the tragic circumstances but will Jamie be able to put his hurt aside to find love again.
Jamie thought he had it all a great career and a loving wife until one day all this comes crashing down around him, so like everyone he re-evaluates his life and goes back to his roots. Jamie decides to go back to Minnesota and start a fresh. So Jamie then set ups his new business and tries to just survive each day. Until one day while umpiring a little league a beautiful stranger approaches him and asks him out on a date.
Kiera has gone through a horrific divorce and is now reassessing her life being newly single again. When visiting her sister to re-evaluate her life she comes across a sexy umpire who she seriously has the hots for. She surprises herself asking this handsome guy out but even shocked when he says yes.
I loved this story and the dynamic between these two characters, the chemistry was great. This story follows the ups and down of tragedy, lost and just your life being upside down. The story had great pace and flowed really well. The characters were great and well developed. This is the first book I have read by this author and would love to read more in the future.
