The story A Talent for Trouble (Bad Boys of Space Book 1) by Landra Graf is a science fiction/romance book. It has action, adventure, romance, and danger. One reason that I enjoyed the story so much was reading about the characters of Emilio Morales and Antonia “Toni” Smith. They are both independent and strong-willed. They are also attracted to one another. Situations occur and these two find themselves working together. This causes tension and the bantering that goes back and forth between them can range from arguing to flirting. Plans are made and fall apart. Will these two achieve the future that they are working so hard to secure? Will they be able to keep from falling for one another? What does the future hold for Emilio and Antonia? Read this book to find out. I also enjoyed reading about many of the secondary characters in the story and how they interact with Emilio and Antonia. There is a feeling of comradery, friendship, and family that is felt. There are also those characters who are selfish and are only out for themselves. Emilio and Antonia are characters that I grew to care about what happens to them and wanted them to find success and happiness. This story had me at times wondering what was going to happen next and how it was all going to end. There are also some steamy moments that make the temperature in the room rise. Don’t miss out on a story that will keep you glued to the pages until you have read the last one.

This wonderful collection of romance novels couldn’t be a better deal! When I saw that a bunch of my favorite authors had come together with some new ones to bring 23 stories in one complete package, I had no problem one-clicking it. I am so glad that I got it just as the weather started getting chilly too, because these pages warmed my heart and my kindle many a cold night. I had the pleasure of reading some favorites like, Tamara Ferguson, Allyson R. Abbott and, Suzanne Jenkins. However, one of the best parts of this collection is that there were so many new authors that I found and am now such a huge fan of! Such as Harper Kincaid, author of my favorite book in the anthology, ‘Running Through Wonderland.’ I can’t wait to go back and re-read some of these gems. I would love to leave a big review on each of these fantastic stories but that would be just too much because I would brag all day! For the goods you will just have to take my word for it and snag a copy for yourself. You will be finding all of these great stories and their authors inside!
Finding Juniper by Sadia Ash is the third book in the Juniper series. This is not a standalone read because it picks up where the last book left off. I am so excited to find out what happens with Juniper and Kyle. I do not want to give anything away but if you loved the rest of the series you won’t be let down. Juniper and Kyle are still different people and very stubborn and hard headed. The writing and story are wonderful and I fell into the book and did not want to put it down. One of the things I love about this series is the fact that Juniper is a history geek and Kyle is a tech geek. Though they are different they are both very intelligent and see the world differently. The level of detail and description allows you to form a story easily in your head. I look forward to reading more in the future from Sadia Ash.

What a scary situation Harlie was caught in. To be so young and alone. With no one to guide you or protect you. Harlie is very brave to have escaped he past. The story was sweet and fun but also a little dark. I feel like Destiny puts us where we need to be and anything that comes along is meant to be. That our fate is affected by the choices we make. Clay is the perfect blend of a man. He has all the qualities and looks that most women crave. I’m a suck a for a southern drawl. Clay was down to earth and just wow. I think that him and Harlie go together perfectly. The author did a great job writing this story. It was presented perfectly and not rushed. Caught in Cross Seas (The Caught Series Book #1) by Sharleen Scott was an addicting read that had me hooked from start to finish.
Not my first read by this author or in this series, I actually read the last book first, but they can be read as standalones. Though there were some spoilers for this book, it wasn’t enough to ruin this amazing read. It actually made me what to read the whole series, but because of spoilers and the linear timeline, I do highly suggest reading this series in order.
This book was something, I don’t even know where to start. I can tell you that I can’t find anything that bothered me, nothing negative, and I can tell you that it’s not often I’m lost for words. I was hooked on every word, every sentence and every page. Clay and Harlie were a joy to read about, I mean sure, there were misunderstandings, ups, downs and conflict. But at the same time, all that chaos made them real, and down to earth. But man oh man, there are parts that will have you on the edge of your seat and have you holding your breath. I was in almost tears at the end. The emotions that both Clay and Harlie displayed and expressed, got me right in the feels. I can’t tell you the scene, cause major spoilers, but hell, that ending, my god, my heart was on the floor.
There is so much going on this book, and for a story to have such a multi connecting plot and intertwined side plots, you think things would get muddled. No, this book was as close to perfection as it could get. No plot holes, from the mystery, clues, broken souls, second chances, and a good old showdown, everything was tied up and clean. Info wasn’t hoarded till the end, it was spaced out and given at the right times. Letting us get to know the characters, as they got to know each other. Things weren’t dumbed down, or over complicated, and that real pull made this story not only original and unique, it made it, highly enjoyable, compelling and stemulating.
I have so many things I want to gush about, the words just want to pour out of me. But to save you from my rambles and spoilers; I’m going to leave you here, with my crazy, super high recommendation, and my golden stamp of approval.

1/8 hearts of a hunk anthology: A Kiss Under A Blue Christmas Moon (Daydreams and Dragonflies 4) written by Tamara Ferguson. This is a cute short story that has some familiar people and places if you have read any of Tamara Fergusons Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Series. Dragonfly Pointe is a magical place and is said to help along true love, Mia and Noah are no different than anyone else who has experienced true love at Dragonfly Pointe. Mia and Noah are cute characters and you watch them quickly grow up from high school strangers to friends to lovers to strangers again. Until Noah comes home and Mia comes home, and Dragonfly Pointe is not letting them get away again. I love the idea and stories behind Dragonfly Pointe and all the stories this one included. It’s a sweet story that had some heartbreak, anger and loss and of course love. Foxxy Christmas written by Allyson R Abbott this story has it’s ups and downs as you go you feel bad for Foxxy and her life. Then as the story goes you realize you feel bad for the people who have wronged her because she’s a lot stronger than anyone gave her credit for, including herself, until she feels like she has nothing and no one left. So why not make a new life for herself. I liked Foxxy a lot as a character she had her moments of weakness but we all do. Then there’s Richard and Jerry, they are quite the pair with their story and how they randomly show up in Foxxys life. Overall the story was well written, it flowed good and I enjoyed it.

A Terrible Beauty was a good 4 star read and book one in the Fallen Eagles MC series.
We skip from past to present in some scenes as Kit remembers things. Kit chose to serve her country ten years ago, something terrible happened that caused her to come home a different person.She was no longer Summer she was Kit, she also pushed away the one man that had her heart, Lee. She is now a highly respected member of the Fallen Eagles MC.
Lee also served in the war and had his own issues here and there. His biggest was not understanding the change in the love of his life, not having her confide in him and talk to him, feeling like she’s a million miles away.
That feeling of helplessness when you were supposed to be a protector was the worst.
When a blackmailer starts sending threatening notes to people, Kit realizes it’s time to tell everyone what happened. She’s a fighter and refuses to allow anyone to threaten her.
What will happen when the truth is revealed? Will she lose Lee forever? Who is the blackmailer?
There is so much more to this good read. The secrets revealed were shocking and heartbreaking. Kit also suffers from PTSD along with some of the others from her group. There are also some scenes that could cause triggers for some. This author pulled me right in with her writing and I had some teary eyed moments. I look forward to reading more from her.
Not So Broken (Love Grows Series Book 1) by Renee Regent. This is a new to me author and I’ll definitely be back for more. From page one I knew I was in for an emotional journey with the main characters. Gibson and Sacha have a chemistry that leaps off the pages and grabs your attention. Each one having their own story to tell but making such harmony when they come together. The characters are complex and relatable, you forget you’re reading a story. The emotions are well written and you can feel what the author intended readers to feel at each moment. It’s well written and paced nicely. I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it to everyone.

A Terrible Beauty is a Novella starting the Fallen Eagles MC Series. I thought the book was well written. The author is a new author to me. I haven’t read many books in this genre but, I didn’t dislike the book. It kept me entertained for the most part.
There were quite a few characters in the Novella. There’s the Markham sisters who are Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. Summer went to war and experienced something tragic. She came home and her new name is Kit. She doesn’t let anyone call her Summer anymore. She has been home 10 years and has kept secrets that whole time from the 30 hours of captivity. Now her past has come back to haunt her. How will her family and Lee handle the secrets when they are exposed? When Spring is threatened by Kit’s blackmailer, will they be able to come out on top or will Kit lose a family member on top of everything else?

First off, if you haven’t read the first books, what are you doing? They’re fantastic. Secondly, this book pulls no punches. You are immediately hit with two tragedies and not a lot of time to comprehend them before being thrown forward in time and into the next huge piece of plot. So get yourself a cup of coffee and strap in. Hannah is a Russian sleeper agent who has been strategically placed within the Pentagon. Fate drags her kicking and screaming back into a situation with her ex, a former Navy SEAL. Jack still clearly has feelings for Hannah which doesn’t make him a very good operative but he’s only human. Hannah will let absolutely nothing get in the way of her mission, whether it be the one she has been assigned, or the one she promised herself and her sister she would complete. The third installation of the Gray Ghost Novels is non stop action. Along with the in depth descriptions of danger and passion, this is no surprise to anyone who has read Broken Circle, Eye of the Storm and/or the prequel Moments That Define Us. Readers will enjoy deception, danger, betrayal, harrowing survival, and pure lust within this amazing series.

Caught in Cross Seas, by Sharleen Scott, is the first book in the Caught Series. This romantic suspense was well written with amazing characters. The mystery, suspense, drama, chemistry, regrets, want/desire were all there. The author created a story with a full cast keeping you guessing who is guilty versus innocent, who is lying versus being forthcoming. The reader is kept engaged in the story while the author continues to weave the tale bringing the reader to the climax of the story wondering how it’s all going to finish. Harlie and Clay were excellently paired and I really enjoyed the push/pull dynamic of them. This is a story/series that I highly recommend.

Engy Neville’s A Christmas Wish is part of A Manhattan Dream series. This contemporary romance was a story full of growth, realizations and determining what’s truly important in life. I found that I enjoyed the dynamic between Amy and her love interest. My heart broke for her when she felt that her life was falling to pieces, but at the same time, it forces her to take a closer look at the importance of those things in her life and what truly matters. This was truly a sweet romance that sparks warm feelings and becomes the most beautiful Christmas wish.
This was a quick read. Easy to read and entertaining as well. A Terrible Beauty is about the after effects of war on different people. It is also about letting go and hanging on. Freedom. And it’s about Beauty. This story seemed to have many hidden meanings, which made the story interesting to read. It is the first of the series, so I can’t wait to read about the other characters. This is the first book I have read by T. Birmingham and won’t be the last as I enjoyed this story.

Ok so I didn’t know what I was getting into when I started to read this book. Let me tell you it wasn’t long before I couldn’t put the book down. What we have here is not your normal romance book, which was a nice break away from our everyday romance stories. So, we have Evie who is a teacher, Dylan who is the son of a church leader who has left the church. Evie has most of her life looked after her mom who suffers from mental health issues and her younger sister. But now with mounting bills, Evie decided she needs to earn extra money. One of her friends suggests that she becomes an escort, at first, she says no but now she is buried under a mass of bills and decides to join her friend at Ma Maison Agency. Evie had no idea that she would be such a good escort. Enter Dylan one of the agencies clients. There was an instant spark between Evie and Dylan but was falling in love with him in her plans? Dylan was not having any luck at the poker tables and is hoping Evie who he sees as his lucky charm will change things at the tables for him. What I liked about this book was that the story just flowed and that’s what made it an easy and enjoyable read. If book one is this good, I think we are in for a good series.

Alive (Sundown Series Book 3) By Courtney Konstantin Rated 5 stars!!!!
Wow! Wow! Wow! I loved this story for so many reasons! This book is written so well. It’s smooth and has such a nice flow to it. The story is action packed and highly addictive! It held me captivated and I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. Many times while reading I find myself saying or thinking “No! Don’t go back to town!” Or “Stay away from there!” But sadly they didn’t listen to me. Each of the characters has a nice quality about them. Whether it be the main one, a secondary or even the dog. They were all well thought out and beautifully done. Even the relationships between the characters is done superbly.
You know the saying “ I love it when a story comes together”? This one is all that! From the writing, to the characters, to the story, they all blend so nicely for a great finished product. This is a first time author for me. I will gladly check out her other books and I will be reading the first two in this series! I am now interested in the girls stories and wondering where the author will take this story next. I highly recommend this book.

Shadows Keep by Meghan O’Flynn is an exciting and fast paced novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire way through! Having read books by Meghan O’Flynn before I knew I was in for a seriously good ride anyway. And the blurb to this book sounded better, in my opinion, than any of her others and it absolutely did not disappoint. More than once I found myself sitting there with my heart pounding, hanging off the edge of my seat, hardly daring to read what would happen next. There was never a moment you could be bored with this book. It takes you on such a rollercoaster ride. The twists and turns will leave you gasping for breath. This book is well written with in depth and complex characters. For anyone that likes this type of book Shadow’s Keep is an absolute yay read.
PLAYER by Pamela DuMond is the first book in the 21st Century Courtesan series. The story follows Evie who works as a kindergarten teacher by day and an escort at night. I was not sure what to think before I started the book but was pleasantly surprised. Evie is a well developed character who has good reasons for the second job she holds. She has standards and is not a common prostitute. She meets Dylan, who she is attending poker events with as a lucky charm. The two have an irresistible pull towards each other. Their relationship causes Evie to reevaluate her treatment of her clients. I do not want to give too much away so I will stop with describing the story. The characters are well written and I enjoyed the various settings. It was an interesting take on the competitive poker games. We all see what happens on television but behind the scenes is different. I liked that there was a bit of suspense thrown in as well. The story kept me involved and curious as to what would happen with the characters. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
Perilous Confession (Book one of the Possession Chronicles) by Carrie Dalby

Wow yet again another new author and another gripping book. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started reading this book but I was pleasantly surprised. I found the author’s writing style to be refreshing and engaging. The book just really gets you hooked from the first page.
The complexity of the relationship between Lucy and Alexander is played out so well through this book. To read the drama as it unfolds in the book around these two keeps you at the edge of your seat. I really found myself by the end of the book routing for Alexander even though he is a very complex soul one cannot help but want him to get his happy ever after. I must admit that even with his complex past and the demons he seems to be battling he really won me over. I really cannot wait to read the next book in this series to see how the plot unfolds.

Romance, mystery and sitting on the edge of your seat action all in one book. I was pulled in right from the start with this these characters. Harlie and Clay are both running from and to their pasts. There is a shadow lurking that knows all and has plans to clean up. I loved both of these two, they are not looking for each other but that is what they find. That is where the twists and turns start and the suspense of survival. I highly recommend this book, find out what happens with them.

I highly suggest reading the entire series to help you get the feeling of this series but not necessary. We get to read about Hannah and Jack’s story. Their story is one of learning to trust and second chances. They are strong and independent. What will happen when Hannah is accused of being a traitor and will Jack be willing to risk it all to save her? This is where the action kicks in, choices are made which made it hard to put this book down at this point. I highly recommend this book.

This is one of my favorite historical romance books, I have read in awhile. I enjoyed how Lucy and Alex made me feel as if I was right there in their story. Their story is an emotional roller that goes from one feeling to another. Their chemistry is off the charts. As Alex starts revealing himself to her, will she decide it is just to much for her? I kept hoping they would get their happy ending but you will have to read this book to find out! I highly recommend their story.

I loved this story! It pulled me in right from the beginning and kept me turning pages until the end. This is a story about second chances and coming to terms with life in a way. The characters brought this story to life. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that had me laughing, on the edge of tears and the feeling of compassion. Gibson and Sacha are strong, independent characters but what they bring out in each other, their chemistry is awesome. Their story is a must read!

Tapped is Book 3 in its series by Tarrah Anders. I am quickly becoming a huge fan! I unknowingly read a book previously, and am working my way backwards now. This story is placed in Las Vegas. Jenae tends bar at The Essentials and Kai is a Male Dancer hired on at The Essentials. Janae and Kai dated 10 years prior. They met their Junior year in school and dated for 2 years. She broke up with him because he knew exactly what he wanted in life, and it was scary because she wasn’t sure what she wanted, except that it was different than what he wanted. His first night at the Essentials is their first time seeing each other since their breakup. Very soon after they start working together they pick up where they left off. Kai is the only boy/man Janae has ever loved and vice versa. This story is without a doubt for mature audiences. I loved almost everything about this book. Melissa, Janae’s sister lives in New Orleans with her mom. Right off the top she is my favorite character. She’s funny and chipper and I wish there was more of her in this book! That is literally my only complaint! 5 out of 5 stars!

A great read about lies. Natalie Conner ran away for a life as an author. Life is good to her with fame and new friends. She even falls in love again with new friend Collin but when life with Collin begins to turn sour, will she run away again? A great read. Well developed plot. Well developed characters like the sarcastic but sensitive Natalie or Collin’s harsh exterior but kind underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like fun friend Tabatha or the humorous Jack. I loved the visual detail throughout the novel with the contrasts between a quiet home and busy spaces like coffee shops or the dinner scenes which was brilliantly written. The jumps between past and present was a brilliant idea to show how things had changed and was fairly easy to follow. The only issue I would raise is that there was some repetition and long sentences in places. Overall, a great read and I would give it four stars.

The story Not So Broken (Love Grows Series Book 1) by Renee Regent is a contemporary romance book. It is a story that I loved reading. One of the reasons I loved it so much is the characters of Gibson and Sacha. Gibson is a man who believes that he is broken. A tragedy has left him with memories and feelings of guilt. He has no interest in relationships. He has given up on love. Then he meets Sacha. Sacha is a woman who is intelligent, independent, beautiful, and strong. She is highly motivated and determined when it comes to making her dreams come true. There is no room for a relationship in her life right now. One night changes everything. Gibson is finding himself falling for Sacha. Sacha has never had anyone make her feel the way that Gibson does, however, she is one that guards her heart. Will Gibson be able to convince Sacha that they belong together? Will he get past the shields that she puts up? There is a connection and passion between these two. What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. This is a story that I just couldn’t put down. My emotions went through ups and downs right along with Sacha’s and Gibson’s. These two are being pulled towards each other. They are two people who I grew to care about and I wanted them to find happiness. Feelings/emotions are felt by both and there are steamy scenes included that make the temperature in the room rise. You are also introduced to other secondary characters who are part of the story and I enjoyed reading about the part that they play in the lives of Sacha and Gibson. There are moments that made me sad, ones that made me smile, and moments that warmed my heart. A story that you won’t want to put down until you have read the final page.

This incredibly phenomenal book has left me feeling all kinds of emotions. As I sit here writing my review, I feel like I’m at a loss as to what to write, how do you properly describe a book that captures you and holds you captive until the end. A story that fills you with all kinds of emotions, from sadness, anger, hurt, shock, sympathy, disbelief etc. and makes you feel as if you are right there with these characters experiencing every traumatic event they are. A Terrible Beauty is one of the best books I’ve ever read!
I honestly can’t wait to reread this book and I’ve literally just finished it. I would highly highly recommend this book to anyone whose ready to get lost in an unforgettable story!
