My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I give Infamy (Feisty Lawyers Book 2) by Seelie Kay, 5 stars.

Harun Ali is told that his brother is seriously ill and asking for him in the middle of the Amazon. He hasn’t seen his brother in a long time and is wary. So he brings his friend and secret agent, Cade, with him. They get there and the dying man tells them something that raises alarms in both these men and all over the states. They uncover a possible terrorist plot. But that is all they know. The agents and lawyers must work to figure out who is behind it and just what is going to happen. Can they do it in time, or will the terrorists win?

This author never fails to amaze me. While there is suspense throughout the book, it starts out more about the couples and their relationships. But then then the suspense turns up a million notches and I cannot put the book down. She pulls me in with the gripping action and I forget everything else until I am done. The characters are so engaging, they feel like they could be your neighbors. At the same time, they are so smart and use any means necessary to keep everyone safe.

This is a romantic suspense that is spectacular. I highly recommend this book and series.
