The Inheritance was an amazing story – it might have only been a short read but I was hooked from beginning to end! I have read a few books by this author now and I love her writing style. Her books are well written and engaging. Max and Lani were amazing characters; I fell under their spell straight away! The chemistry and sexual tension between them was hot! Max was everything I love in a hot, older dominant – I am definitely in love with him!! Lani was a great heroin, not the naive one I expected either which was great! This is one of those books that you wish you could go back and start all over again! I would have loved it to be longer, just because I couldn’t get enough of these two!! This was a fantastic 5 star read that I highly recommend!! I can’t wait for more from this author again in the future – she is definitely one of my favourites!!

Troubles Wedding Caper by Jen Talty is the eighth book in the Family Legacy series. This book can be enjoyed as a stand-alone though and does not have to be read in order. I wasn’t familiar with this series before I read this book but I have really enjoyed it. The characters were easy to connect with and their story was interesting and fun. I liked that there was a bit of adventure to the story and that the pace was fast. It really kept me hooked into the book. This author always seems to write a great book and this series is one I will be going back to start from scratch.
Claimed is the third and final instalment in the Torzial series by Via Mari. I have loved this series, far more than I ever expected- the series really captivated me, and loved every minute that I spent between its pages. I really liked the Prestian series, but I can honestly say that this book and series, are my favourite reads of Ms. Mari’s. They have eclipsed the Prestian series, in my eyes, and left me wanting much more of Ms. Mari’s work. This book picks up right where the previous book left off, so, if you haven’t done so, I really recommend reading the first two books before starting on this one. Just so you are up to date with all the important factors, bridging storyline/s, and exciting developments- that will allow you to both follow and understand all the interconnected threads of the storyline. You don’t need to have read the Prestian books to enjoy this series, but as it has some shared/ recurring characters, as well as some timeline/storyline elements- I would recommend it- as it will definitely enhance your reading experience. As with the other two books, this is a romantic suspense that’s full of action, danger, secrets, hidden agendas, humour, mystery, lots more sexual exploration & awakening, some light bondage, spanking, red hot sizzling scenes, mafia, twists and turns, surprising developments, revelations, intrigue and lots, lots more! There is so much going on in the story, but Ms. Mari orchestrates everything quite effortlessly, keeping me enthralled- and in breathless with anticipation. Ms. Mari really seems to have hit her stride with these books, and seems totally comfortable and at ease with her craft- and it really shows in this well written and captivating story! This is primarily a suspense story- with a great erotic romance woven through it. I love how Via Mari is able to build such intense tension, chemistry, and intrigue- but manages to balance it all with lots of emotion, tenderness, and a little bit of humour. After the intense developments in the last book, things are not quite ‘smooth sailing’ in this book. There are still some serious obstacles to overcome, and a lot at stake. Danger is an ever present threat. Their trust will be tested, again. So, will these two finally find a way to put all the danger behind them and embrace a future together? Or will the sinister forces win out in the end? I really love these two, they are such fantastic characters- superbly crafted, with fully developed and complex personalities. I was completely immersed in their story, emotionally invested in them and their ‘lives’- strung out on all the detail, reading anxiously to discover what happens to them and how their story will ‘end’. A brilliant conclusion to the series!

Broken Sand Dollar is the third and final book in The Sand Dollar Series by J.D Boudreaux. As this is a continuation of a storyline, starting from book one and concluding through to this one, I really recommend reading the other books before jumping into this one. Having all that information will give you a much greater perspective of what’s happened and how we got ‘here’. There are also very relevant details contained in the first two books and having all the information is important. I enjoyed this book more than the first two and I appreciated that the whole thing felt like the author had really hit their stride, and was seemingly ‘comfortable and confident’ with their story, characters and style. There is a little more to it, than first meets the eye, and did have me wondering a fair bit. The author certainly didn’t take it easy on Alex, putting him to the test, over the course of the series. Alex has been quite unlucky in love, suffering several big disappointments. Things were not meant to be, but that doesn’t mean he has come out of it all unscathed. He has chosen to return to the one place that has always held a piece of his heart, the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. Here he does some soul-searching, which results in some self-realization. The story was quite engaging- with some drama, frustration, self-discovery, emotion, and more. Definitely my favourite of the three books, and a great way to wrap up the series! I wonder what J.D Boudreaux has in store for us next?

The Inheritance: The Story of an Unlikely Submissive is a riveting five star read by India Kells. OMG!! This Book was fantastic! Ms. Kells is one of my favourite authors, so when I saw this book, I didn’t even have to think about it, and just ‘one-click’- I didn’t even bother reading the blurb- so to say this book surprised me is a bit of an understatement! It wasn’t what I had been expecting- it was so much MORE! This is such an original, fun, emotive, sexy and seductive story. It’s wonderfully written- quite erotic, with sizzlingly HOT encounters, drama, pleasure, pain, grief, guilt, some BDSM, strength, vulnerability, healing, finding ones self, heartache, intrigue, romance, and ART. I devoured it in under an hour, loving every minute and not wanting it to ever end. These wonderful, endearing characters really brought this story to life and made it entirely memorable. What lengths will struggling artist, Lani, go to in order to fulfil her Uncles final request- and ‘earn’ her inheritance? Add to the mix, a very sexy reclusive billionaire, 6 very specific ‘tasks’- and this story really starts to sizzle!!! This might be a short story, but it certainly isn’t lacking in content, packing quite a lot into a small space. The one thing I have learned about Ms. Kells’ stories, and I have said this before- but, things are never simple, there are always layers and complexities that are revealed. I really don’t want to say too much, and give anything away, but, you really should read this incredible story for yourself- you really won’t be disappointed!! Highly recommended reading!!

The Devil’s Shadow is the fourth book in the Wild Beasts Series by T. Birmingham. It is a fantasy/paranormal romance with mystery, action, suspense and drama. I love the way Ms. Birmingham builds the tension and suspense in this book, and as with the other books in the series, she had me on the edge of my seat, reading as quickly as I could, to discover what would happen. This story could be read as a standalone, but I don’t recommend that. If you haven’t read the other books, I really recommend that you do because so much back story, character introductions, and other relevant information is contained in those books- and having all that information on board will greatly enhance your overall reading experience of not only this book, but the series as a whole. As with the other three books, this one also has quite a complex storyline, which Ms. Birmingham has cleverly woven into another captivating instalment. This story focuses on Ginny and Kieran- although characters we’ve met in previous book/s also make appearances. I greatly enjoyed following them on this ‘adventure’ and finding out a lot of the answers to questions that I’d had. The world-building, legend, and lore was incredibly well done, superbly developed- and entirely believable. The characters are extremely interesting, likeable and multi-dimensional. There are emotional factors in this story- moments of extreme heartbreak, as well as other moments that were truly heartfelt. The story has a great pace and is easy to read. I really enjoy Ms. Birmingham’s style and imagination. I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Dig Two Graves is the first book in the Detective Solomon Gray Series by Keith Nixon. This is my first book by Mr. Nixon, and it won’t be the last. After finishing this interesting first instalment in the series, I snapped up the other three books in the series so I could keep following Solomon and see what happens next. The story is a little dark, gritty, raw, and emotive. It’s quite a complex story that is not only a crime/murder mystery, but also quite an in-depth character study of the quirky, flawed, and complicated man that is Detective Sergeant Solomon Gray. Solomon has a tonne of baggage that haunts him- he is an obsessed and driven soul, self-medicating with booze, pills, and cigarettes. He’s cranky, prickly, stubborn, and lonely. He has suffered great personal loss over the course of the past 10 years- starting with the disappearance of his (then) 6 year-old son. He hasn’t really ‘lived’ since- his job has become his life. He dedicates every spare moment into going over the case file looking for clues, or exploring any tiny thread of hope, no matter how unlikely. He has never stopped looking for and thinking about his son. But, is weighed down by a heavy burden of guilt and sorrow. So, when a body of a 16 year old boy turns up after an apparent suicide (the same age his son would be now)- it starts off an investigation that will lead Solomon down avenues he never imagined. With twists and turns that he (and I) didn’t see coming, the story kept me guessing right till the end. What will Solomon discover? Where will the investigation lead him? Will he discover what happened to his son? The story is told from both a ‘present’ perspective, as well as showing ‘flashbacks’ of the past. The transitions are seamless and well done. The flashbacks help to build the backstory, as well as adding to our knowledge of Solomon himself. This is a tightly woven plot, with vivid descriptions and clever details. This helped make both the storyline, and characters, realistic and believable. The characters are fully developed individuals with their own quirks, flaws and personalities. I did find it hard to connect and invest in Solomon as a character, and he frustrated me a lot. I did feel for him, as a parent I really empathized with him, and I don’t think you ever get over something like that. I appreciated his dedication, and skills- but would have like him to be a little more endearing. I would also have like some more police procedure/investigation, and suspense- as I felt that this part of the story suffered a little, from the focus on Solomon and his ‘character study’. But, that being said, I still enjoyed the story, and would definitely read more of Mr. Nixon’s work- like I already mentioned, I am already exploring the next few books in this series.

Feathers: A Novel by Kylie Stewart was an amazing story that I was not expecting. To be honest, I was not sure what I was thinking was going to happen. This story has taken me on an emotional roller coaster. Charlotte has so much negativity in her life. There was so much pain, trust broken, fear, and anger. Charlotte has really turned her life around has learned that there is a force of good that will help her. She does not need to be alone all the time. Hawk was another broken person. He has built up a wall around him due to his life choices. Charlotte and Hawk get together and try to figure out their lives and can they learn together that they can have a force of good around them.

“Broken Sand Dollar” is the wonderful end of the Sand Dollar series by JD Boudreaux. I highly recommend reading the first two books before reading this one so you really know what is going on and get a feel for Alex’s journey. This book was such a treat to read. I LOVED the previous books and have been waiting for months for “Broken Sand Dollar” and it did NOT disappoint! This series spans years of Alex’s life, some in real time and a lot in flashbacks and JD Boudreaux did an amazing job weaving the story together. At the end of “Wish I Had a Nickel,” I could have told you exactly what I thought was going to happen to Alex in “Broken Sand Dollar.” Oh boy was I wrong! The turn of events in this book felt so right for Alex and what he has learned through therapy and self- reflection. The ladies of his life are all wonderful characters that all taught Alex something important and it was so great to read a book that touches on mental health and growth in such a positive way. So, I obviously loved this beautiful conclusion and give “Broken Sand Dollar” five well- earned stars!

Surviving Grace is the fifth and final book in the Surviving series by Virginia Wine. This book is written with a lyrical, poetic style that really enhanced this story. The poetry between each chapter also helps to set the tone and mood for the whole book. As this is the fifth and final story in the series, I really recommend reading all the books so you have all the information you need to properly understand/follow and enjoy this book, at the very least you really need to have read book four, first. Surviving Grace is about family, friendship, trauma, betrayal, love, loss, trust, self-realization/self-discovery, and overcoming. There is plenty of drama, emotion, and romance. I had been waiting for this book to release, so I had quite a lot of expectation- but Ms. Wine didn’t let me down, finishing off the series with a very captivating read. This is ultimately Grace’s story, and we follow along as she slowly pieces herself back together and tries to move on with her life after the trauma she experienced. Things are not easy, especially with horrible memories haunting her nights and tormenting her days. Things are not easy for her, with lots of obstacles to deal with. So, what happens when the past catches up with her? Read this great story/series to find out. Ms. Wine has created a complex story, full of interconnected details. The characters are well developed- and the recurring characters from the series make appearances again in this book too. I was a little sad to finish the series, but Ms. Wine certainly left the best till last, in my eyes!

Trouble’s Wedding Caper by Jen Talty is the first book I’ve read by this author.
The book has some romance, friendships, suspense and breakups in it. Annabelle and Ethan are old friends. She is best friends with his sister. Both are in relationships that quickly end in the beginning of the book. One drunken night at a wedding ends in someone doing a shot from someone’s belly button!
Here they are months later when Annabelle and Ethan run into each other again. Luckily for Annabelle, Ethan seems to stay semi close to her. She is a treasure hunter who just bought an abandoned storage unit. Someone is out to get Annabelle but with Trouble on the case, he doesn’t make it easy.
I thought this book was well written. I liked most of the characters but wasn’t into the whole cat saving the day storyline.
Best Foot Forward is the first book of Liberty Lawrence series by Bea Stevens. This is my first book from this author. Her characters are witty and full of spunk. This series is going to be one of the series that will keep you reading because it is a fun easy read. Liberty or Libby is someone I can see being friends. Her outgoing innocence is too funny. She comes up with her own suspicions that could have happens. She tells the Detective Sergeant James Harper her view of the crime. She is so believable that Detective Sergeant James believes she is the thief. Keep reading to see what Libby going to do-will she be able to shed some light on the case or will she fail?

The Devil’s Shadow by T. Birmingham has been a beauty to experience. I love that I can loose myself within this world that was created, with characters that captivate you and refuse to let you go. I loved everything about this book. I couldn’t help but feel those experiences that each character was going through.
Shattered Love by Nivia Borell is book one of the Forever Us Series. This book is a contemporary romance that had me glued to my seat until the last page. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but books like this is why I continue to read books by new to me authors. This book was so emotional.
Life is not easy. Life is about putting in work, making choices and then dealing with the consequences. Bria and Damien’s lives have changed due to circumstances they’ve faced and how they’ve dealt with those circumstances. Will the circumstances of their past determine how they live their future?
This book was very well written. You could feel the pain, betrayal and all the other feelings that consumed Bria and Damien. These characters had quite the journey and the book makes you feel everything right along with them. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for these characters.

Surviving Grace by Virginia Wine is book five of the Surviving Series. This book is a novella and is written in a poetic format. This book should be read by readers 18+ due to the content and language.
Grace is a beautiful, strong woman that experienced a lot of pain and devastation. There is quite a bit of suspense as you wait to see how Grace’s future will play out. I couldn’t put the book down. There is so much emotion in this book you can’t help but feel a sliver of what Grace must have been feeling. She is such a great character. She is so strong and didn’t let herself get beat down even though at times she didn’t think highly of herself.
This was a great book. It was interesting to read it in poetic format. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it when I first started it but once I got use to it, it was really good. I definitely recommend this whole series!

The Light At Dawn is an outstanding 5 star read by K.L. Montgomery that will drag you through every emotion possible. I must advise to have a good supply of tissues handy when you read this book as it is heart-breaking in parts. Married mother of 3 Angelia White goes through one of those incidents which every parent must dread. That call to say that there is a shooter in their child’s school. Then the heart break of discovering that her beloved 9 year old son Evan is one of the shooter’s victims. 5 years on, now divorced Angelia is an advocate for gun control who speaks at rallies about losing her son. At a rally she meets Mark Lyon, a man with totally opposing views who believes that people have the right to own to own a gun. Despite their opposing views there is an attraction between the 2 which results in a one night stand. When Mark’s daughter Ashleigh is then cruelly gunned down and killed at school by her ex-boyfriend, Mark’s life crumbles and he begins to question his beliefs. But fate has something else in mind for Mark and Angelia. A new life to look forward to and possibly a future together? This book contains scenes which are very upsetting but the author does a fantastic job of dealing with these issues in a very sensitive manner. She does not take sides in the gun control debate but shows both sides of the debate, allowing the reader to make their own choices. As someone who lives in the UK where school shootings are not the issue that they are in the US, I have to honestly say that I couldn’t begin to comprehend the worry that parents have regarding their children’s safety in relation to gun control in schools.

Rules of Engagement: A Single Dad Romance (Platonically Complicated Book 3) by Mika Jolie 4 out of 5 Stars
This book is a lot more than its synopsis. At first blush it seems that it is a basic, single dad, fights for custody of his young daughter from the evil, vindictive ex-wife, needs help to show that he is the better parental choice, and in steps the sister of his best friend to save the day. I mean, yes, that is what this story is about. But there is so much more that just that. First, this book is told from Lucas’ point of view, which a a bit of a refreshing turn in my oh so humble opinion. Lucas has loved and lost. Loss that only ends in a bitter divorce and an even bitter custody battle.
Kate is independent, loving and driven. When she learns that Lucas needs her help and it would benefit his daughter, she jumps at the chance to help. Only to fight to keep from falling under the spell of Lucas. Kate has also felt the sting of love gone sour, and she is not eager to jump back into the pool
There is tension between Lucas and Kate, some serious tension. This book is a deep, slow burn. Sexual tension practically crackles in the air with these two. Jolie is an amazing author and knows how to craft a hot and steamy story with some serious sassy and characters of incredible quality and depth. An amazing read for anyone!

Blade’s Edge (Satan’s Devils MC #10) By Manda Mellett Rated 5 stars
The beginning of this was awesome. I loved how the female lead was introduced. It was a different approach. It really makes someone think…could this easily happen to me? Then it turns out she has some of the same spark in her that moves Blade forward. I loved their pairing!
One of my favorite things happened in this book. There was a lot of time spent at the compound. So that means we get to see all the Brothers, O’l Lady’s and kids. I enjoy all the interactions they have along with incorporating the new gal and razzing the current club member. Blaze really took a heap this time. I was glad to see his spark fly a few times as well as his acceptance with the ribbing. I loved the addition of a certain character to the story. Tommy was an actual joy to read. He is a perfect add to this motley crew.
This isn’t my first Satan’s Devils story and it won’t be the last! I enjoy how this author brings me into the lives of this crew. She brings the characters to life through her storytelling. It’s very easy to read and follow along. While this could be read as a stand alone I enjoyed reading and meeting these characters as we go along.

The Billionaire and the Therapist (Clean Billionaire Romance Reads #1) By Kim Koby Rated 3 stars
This started off great a trauma, mystery then possible romance. I enjoyed the characters and it was easy to get into their story. It was near the end that it started to skip around and become rushed. Maybe even the last two chapters could have been an epilogue which would help some. Other than that It actually was a lovely story. I can’t even imagine the world the male MC lives in. Billionaire!? Wow! I didn’t care for him at first because of his attitude about the price of things. He got a little looser as the story moved forward. The female MC seemed legit. A therapist who works with horses and children. So cool! The secondary characters were different. The brothers, the parents, the child, and the bodyguards all had different personas. From raging mad to aggravatingly polite. Some of these were useful to the story…others not so much. Overall it’s a good story. It was easy to follow along and the characters were interesting.

The story The Billionaire and the Therapist (Clean Billionaire Romance Reads Book 1) by Kim Koby is an amazing romance book to read. I loved every minute of it. The story is not a long one, it is beautifully written and full of powerful emotions. I loved reading about Natalie and John. Natalie is kind-hearted, caring and a wonderful speech therapist. She is also overwhelmed at the prospect that the man who once stalked her could be released. It is dealing with this knowledge that she is hired to help John’s daughter. John is not the man he used to be. The one thing that is for sure is the love that he has for his daughter and the helplessness he feels in not being able to help her. Then he meets and hires Natalie. There is an attraction between Natalie and John. Their past shapes the way they live their lives and they come from different worlds. Can they both open up their hearts to the possibility of a relationship? What does the future hold for John and Natalie? Will Natalie be able to help John’s daughter? Read this book to find out. Natalie and John are characters that I couldn’t help but care about and I wanted them to find happiness. There are sad moments and also moments that warm your heart. This is a story that you won’t be able to put down until you have finished it. It is the first book in a series and I am looking forward to reading the next one. There are additional characters that are introduced and would love to learn more about them.

Blade’s Edge: Satan’s Devils MC #10 By: Manda Mellett 5 out of 5 stars
The story Blade’s Edge: Satan’s Devils MC #10 by Manda Mellett is a romantic suspense book. I have read several books in the series and I loved reading this one just as much as the others. I enjoyed how so many of the characters are brought forward from one book to the next. There is a true feeling of brotherhood and also family in the Satan’s Devils. They are protective of each other and those that they care for. Being an MC club at times has others judging the members. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Blade and Tash. Blade is the enforcer for Satan’s Devils. He has a mistrust of women and also authority. He is not one that wishes for a relationship and doesn’t let others see that there is a softer side to him. Then he meets Tash. Tash is strong, independent, and beautiful. Getting involved with the wrong man has caused her to not trust anyone. She can only trust herself. Then she meets Blade. There is a definite attraction between Blade and Tash. He feels protective of her. Is there a possible future for Blade and Tash? How much danger is she in? Read this story to find out what happens. This is a book that at times had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. There are heartbreaking moments. There are also steamy moments that make the temperature in the room rise. As the story progressed and I learned more about Blade and Tash I understood them better and grew to care about them. I also enjoyed reading about the interactions and sometimes bantering that occurs between the two and the other members of the MC club. This is a story that I would highly recommend reading. You will quickly find yourself hooked and not wanting to put the book down.

Wish i Had a Nickel is book two in the Sand dollar series by JD Boudreaux. It is a tale of friends to lovers that was full of drama and feelings. This author brings the characters to life in a very clever and enthralling way.
Alex and Leigh were joined at the hip until separated by miles. They finally reunite, and begin on a journey of rediscovery and capturing back the connection they had so long ago. This story happened fast. So rast, I wasn’t ready for the finish. Each character is highly detailed, leaving no questions about who they are and what they want. Learning about them was exciting and breathtaking. The connection Alex and Leigh shared was riveting and certainly kept me glued to every word. I absorbed all that they felt, all that they wanted, all that they could give each other. It is always bittersweet when the end of such quality stories comes before you are aware it is happening. So engrossed with their story, it comes out of nowhere. What an experience it was to read Wish I Had a Nickel. I cannot wait for the next story in the Sand dollar series. 4 stars.

A Cold Dark Place is book one in the Cold Justice series by Toni Anderson. I have been highly anticipating this story ever since reading the blurb. Instantly it grabbed my attention, and i wanted to escape into the very depths of this story immediately.
I was mesmerised by the leading characters from the moment I started their story. An assassin falling for an agent? It has danger, suspense, intensity, all tied up in one dramatic package. I connected with the characters, sympathised with them, laughed with them, cried with them, got angry for them. Felt it all with them. Reading this story was an exciting and memorable experience. As this was my first read by first author, I went in with my mind and eyes open. I was swept away by the quality of the story, the complexity of each character, and the energetic delivery. I cannot wait to see what comes next in this beguiling series. 5 stars.

Seraphina’s Awakening is the first book in the Seraphina series by Sheena Hutchinson. Another new author for me, and I was excited to see what was on offer. I am not one to stray too far from my favourite genre, but I don’t want to miss anything, so taking a chance is a must.
Seraphina has the power to see more than the average human. She finds herself a new person upon awakening one day, but is clueless as to how and why it happened. She has to piece together what has happened. A meeting with a stranger brings some clarity to her dilemma. With new powers comes strange being and too many eyes on her. This story was a mystery I just had to solve quickly. I had this irresistible urge to rush through this story, not allowing anything to get in my way.
This tale was a surprise and one that was totally unexpected. I took a little while to warm up but once I did, I couldn’t get enough. The characters were intriguing and a puzzle begging to be unveiled. The story was engaging and energetic. In a nutshell, it was a really enjoyable read. 4 stars.

WOW! I don’t quite know what I was expecting from this book when I started it, except that I knew it would be good, just as all Ms. Packard’s other books have been- but this far and away exceeded all my expectations and then some. Vortex by Kimberly Packard has just become one of my top 5 reads this year! I know that there is still a lot of the year to get through, but I am certain that come December, it will still be part of the top reads of the year- it’s just that compelling, edgy, mysterious, intriguing, and completely riveting!! I couldn’t put it down, reading the whole book in a matter of hours, but also at the same time, not really wanting it to finish. This would make a brilliant movie- and I would love to read more about Elaina (and Seth’s) storm chasing adventures in the future!! Hint, hint, Ms. Packard ?. The story was quite an exhilarating ride and took me on an adventure that I won’t soon forget! There is suspense, action, drama, danger, mystery, tension, twists, surprising developments, tornadoes, family relationships, secrets, self-discovery, storm chasing, second chances, betrayal, loss, a little romance, and sooo much more. I am most definitely addicted to Ms. Packard’s stories, with her Phoenix series amongst my favourite reads- but this one, seemingly unassuming book (to look at), has trumped them all! Ms. Packard orchestrated this story like a world-class maestro would a symphony, building the tension and intensity the whole way through- before finally reaching the zenith with a massive crescendo of adrenaline inducing, edge of your seat action. Much like a building storm I watched as all the elements melded together, roiling and surging- quite unpredictably, while holding me in complete anticipation and expectation- the whole way through. This is such a well thought out story, with intricately detailed elements and descriptions, full of intriguing tornado (storm) facts and information that really helped to set the mood and tone of the overall story. The intricately woven story is full of inter-connected details that showcase just how brilliant a storyteller (and writer) Ms. Packard really is! The story is told from several POV’s which added a lot of interest and gave the story more depth, drama, and intrigue. Highly Recommended reading!

5 Star Feathers A Novel by Kylie Stewart is a amazingly written story that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. This story had my emotions all over the place. Hawk is very good at hiding his unhappiness and a dark past has caused Charlotte to put up walls.Can these two get into each other’s lives?.This story was completely different than I had expected and is one that will have you thinking about it long after you finish it. These have a great chemistry together. I highly recommend reading this book. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

An Improper Encounter (The Macalisters Book 3) by Erica Taylor is an historical romance with with lots of mystery and drama, heartache and suspense, scandal and attempted murder, lies and deceit. As I have mentioned before historical romances are not my thing unless they are done right and trust me Erica has done it right. The characters in this series are family and are in each and every book, given there are so many of them, so I suggest you read the other two books before reading this one, so you know and understand their wonderful background and their stories, which makes the reading experience so much better. Erica has thrown in quite a few twists to this plot and keeps you guessing all the way through.
Sarah survived being ill treated in a horrible marriage but is now a widow. She helped/helps raise her younger siblings after the death of her parents and has always acted like the lady she is expected to be in society, even though she is tired of it. Whilst away, her best friend dares her to put aside propriety and just live.
William Gordon gets the shock of his life, when stopping at an Inn, where he meets the lovely widow. Travelling together brings them closer than they ever could have imagined and promises were made. Unfortunately lies and deceit had other ideas that lead to pain and heartache, sorrow and hate and broken hearts.
I recommend this series to all historical romance lovers and even those who are not and want to take a chance like I did.

The Billionaire and the Therapist (Clean Billionaire Romance Reads Book 1) by Kim Koby is an easy read romance story. I really enjoyed this really short story but would have liked to see it fleshed out more in a novel. It was well written and I enjoyed the short journey with our main characters that have been brought together after tragedy and fear. John’s life was turned upside down the night he tragically lost his wife and almost lost his daughter. Now he needs to do everything he can to make not only his daughter but also himself whole again. Natalie is living in fear of the man who ruined her life, but when she is offered a job that she tried to turn down, she realises she has found so much more. This is a sweet romance read that is a little scandalous and intriguing. I am excited to read more about the rest of the clan.
