First things first.

A checklist to prepare yourself for reading this book!
-Tissues, and plenty of them. Trust me you are going to need them.
-A ready supply of Wine (or your preferred alcoholic drink), or something comforting like hot cocoa.
-A comfortable, quiet place to sit, and maybe a soft blanket and a cushion or two- because you are going to be there for a while as you won’t want to put this book down once you start.
-A friend on standby to call as you may need someone to talk to about the emotional battering you (will) receive.

….Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

The Light At Dawn by K.L Montgomery is a powerful, thought-provoking, heartbreaking, and incredibly emotive story that I am still thinking about long after finishing it. This is my favourite read of Ms. Montgomery’s- and ok, I know I say that about each new release she makes- but seriously- this book really is the top of the pile- it deserves wayyyyyy more than 5 stars!!! Truly it does!
I am at a loss to do this book the justice it deserves, without giving away any spoilers. You will understand my dilemma, once you start reading. Ms. Montgomery has managed to capture so much emotion in these pages, writing a deeply moving story that embodies her passion, creativity, blood, sweat, and tears. The attention to detail, and masterful, descriptive touches really brought the characters and story to life.
Yes, there is a lot of pain, despair, and heartache here- but was brilliantly balanced by the purpose, passion, and hope that is threaded through the storyline. Some parts are not easy to read- but it is worth every heartache and tear!
Bravissimo!!!

Thank you, Ms. Montgomery!
