Oh my goodness I loved this book! I am a sucker for solving a mystery and a leading lady that makes me want to jump into the book and be her friend, a friend that makes me laugh just about every time she opens her mouth LOL

There isn’t one thing I didn’t love about this story, I loved the fast paced suspense that kept me guessing and I sincerely appreciated the “no added fluff”, every word was needed in this story and the flow was perfect. I loved the slight hint of romance throughout and the crazy friends and the family bonds throughout.

This was the perfect book, my favorite genre for sure and as much as I’d love to compare this to another series out there which I love as well, this one stands by itself and I absolutely can not wait for more and know that PJ Santini will be on my favorite character list and I hope there are many more books to come in this series.

I’m kind of star struck as I remember well watching this author on my TV years ago and her experience on CNN made this story that much more believable and fun.

I already can not wait to read this again 🙂

I really loved this story. Its a proper romance about how two people from different social worlds come together and bring out the best in each other and complete each others lives.

After an accident Jordan moved to a quiet country with his sister who he has guardianship over. There he mets Jess who works at the community centre as an artist. Even though their first meeting isnt great there is definately a spark. The problem is will Jordan allow himself to fall for Jess.

This is a story full of ups and downs but does show that love can win over anything in the world

Aaahhh this is a great collection. I’m a big fan of the paranormal, and this is all about just that. The stories all vary, since all are from different authors but they are 5 star authors. The stories are well written. Many will keep you wanting to read from that series and find out what is next in either the book or other characters.

The first story will suck you in. The prologue does a good job on this. I enjoyed many of the stories because of the characters. I loved that a lot of the women were portrayed as tough, no bull crap attitudes. Yet when the alpha or mate came along they were still able to have a sweet side.

If you are looking for steamy scenes this set is amazing. Finally I enjoyed most the story Demons by C.J. Hartnett. This was a new for me, since I haven’t read much on demons. As soon as you start this you are hooked. I loved that the heroine was dangerous but also feeling very lonely. I loved that people feared her yet always told her it’s a weakness. This is by far my favorite in the whole set. This set is a must for all that are into the paranormal.

This book has two heartfelt stories that will pull at your heartstrings. I enjoyed both books. They are about two women who will either take a chance at love or a chance a broken hearts. They took me on an emotional ride that was steamy in parts and heartwarming in others. They have chemistry and attraction with the steamy men. The characters made me feel as if I was part of the story. They are independent, strong and lovable. I highly recommend these books, you won’t regret picking it up.

This story is well written and has a creative take on this fairytale. This is about a woman who has everything and he is a farm boy, who is her opposite. What will happen when she comes upon his barn and their worlds collide like no other? Oh, and she is on the run. They are great characters that made me laugh, feel compassion and I found myself hoping they would find their HEA. They made the story come to life and kept me turning pages. I enjoyed this book, I highly recommend it.

I have no words at this moment. I am both confused and giddy over this story. The characters were a mixture of strong and weak. The author did show them growing throughout the story. Rouge and Lethal were weird but perfect. The way the author went about the whole linking them was wild. There were some confusing parts in the beginning but as you keep reading it somewhat explains itself. The merging and linking were not my think and kind of gave me the creeps. To be linked the way they were just wasn’t right. Rouge wasn’t my favorite character. She was very judgmental and controlling. It was almost like she wanted everyone to think the way she thought. The killing got to her but she was willing to kill someone in cold blood to serve her needs. We all live in situations we don’t like but there are better ways around them. I say this story is something you would have to get used to. It’s not something you can just jump right into. I feel you need a guide to the species before reading this story.

This third book in the Liberty Lawrence series is just as fantastic as the first two. Libby is really a magnet for trouble. She can’t seem to keep her or her shoes out of trouble. This book can be read as a standalone, but as an avid reader, I am a huge advocate for reading a series in book order to get the most out of the series, as the author intended.
Libby is going places in the workforce. She was given the job of a lifetime when she lands a position in the fashion section of the Women’s Matter, a supplement to the Chronicle, but the new fancy job comes with a terrible boss…Valerie.
After discovering that her boss has made a terrible deal with an even more terrible person, Libby is determined to get to the bottom of the scam and find out who the real Fraud is…and yet somehow…it all leads back to her boss.
This mystery is lighthearted, hilarious and highly entertaining. You will laughing and flipping the pages as fast as you can and will be shocked at the final outcome! Highly recommended.

His Dream Mate by Madison Sevier; this story was fun, dramatic, entertaining and the characters were off the charts.

Flirty Dancing (The Green Room Chronicles Book #3) by Jennifer Theriot (J.D Frettier); this story was heartfelt with humor intertwined.

Each of the stories in this set are uniquely different, but come together perfectly within this series. I read several books from authors I had not previously had the pleasure to enjoy and look forward to reading more from them. Highly recommend the Immortal Desires anthology.

The Wicked Earl’s Widow, by Aubrey Wynne, is that second book in the Once Upon a Widow series. This historical romance was a dramatic read set to the Victorian era. These type of novels were my first reads into the romance realm and they still hold a place in my heart when it comes to this genre. Aubrey Wynne is a talented author and creates fabulous characters that stand apart and shine within their story. In this particular book, I immediately admired Eliza’s character. She’s strong despite the circumstances in her life and has morals that our outstanding to hold. Unfortunately, there is drama, suspense and intrigue within this story. Enter Nick who is about to shift Eliza’s world. The chemistry is apparent and perfectly blended into the story. The Wicked Earl’s Widow is a great read and I highly recommend.

Seraphina’s Revolution is the fourth book in the Seraphina’s series. You will want to read books one through three because those books lead up to this one. It is always bitter sweet when you read the last book in a series because you feel the journey is over but you are also satisfied because the characters have played out their role in the book. This book is about Seraphina and her quest to get her normal life and not such a chaotic journey. Seraphina has been through hell and back in order to get this normal life, only to have Lucifer take it away to evoke the evil that dwells within her soul. There needs to be one last battle to end all the battles, but will it take more than Seraphina can handle? Will Nate be with Seraphina or will Lucifer take him away from her? Thank you again Ms. Hutchinson I cannot wait to see your next series.

Captivated by the Millionaire by Nina Singh give us a storyline that I adore. The odd couple that no one thinks will work and when they do, the sparks fly and the attraction is through the roof. This book has everything that a romance reader will love. The sweetness, the drama, and the angst that we all love. A lot of the drama following the two leads in this story stemmed from miscommunications and misunderstandings that got to me but I still found myself unable to put the book down and was drawn into the storyline. I am new to this author and would for sure read more from her in the future.

Jessalyn, a free spirit artist who has had her fair share of heartache so she throws her compassionate loving self into the work at the Children’s Centre. She is a free spirit and she loves that about herself. Jordon, a millionaire from New York, has his life turned upside down when he becomes the guardian of his little sister Sonya. He doesn’t have the time to raise a child, he doesn’t have the time to give a home, and he certainly does not have the faith in ladies to give Sonya an environment that she needs. A encounter with Jessalyn, he finds himself unable to stop thinking about her. No matter what happens, these two always seem to be running in to each other. What happens when two people not looking for love, are drawn to eachother!!

An Appointment is the fourth book in Lindsay Marie Miller’s Summer in New York series. I have read EVERY SINGLE one of them! The stories can be read as a standalone but it is great to read them in the order as they are connected through the characters! Our Savannah Taylor, the divorced mother of a young boy is the daughter of Austin and Amy from book #2 (and niece of Claire and Benjamin from book #1). Savannah is not doing too well, the divorce has left her hurt and she feels like life is serving a curveball after curveball and she is barely managing to hold on … enters Dr Preston Cole, a paediatrician who is taking over from his father and who is treating Savannah’s son Trey. He has his own turbulent past, his wife left him for a surgeon and while doing it, broke his heart and his bank account … Both of them have sworn not to love again, not to marry again … and their paths collide …
An Appointment is a contemporary romance filled with drama, angst, frustration, loads of misunderstandings, mystery, emotions … and second chances! At times all of the angst and drama became too much … I get that Savannah was drowning in stress but her jumping into conclusions … well … who knows … I suggest you pick up the whole series and spend hours and hours with characters that don’t leave you cold!

Knights Who Won My Heart by Sonya Jesus is the fourth and final book in the Knights series. I was on the edge of my seat from about half way through until the very end. Cannot say enough good things about this book and series.

Holy cow a lot happens in this final installment with Lia and everyone else. Lots of twists and turns all the way through and the end will left me speechless and trying to just wrap my mind around it all.

This is not a book that can be read as a standalone, you have to read the first three and I don’t think you will regret that decision. I know I don’t. Ms. Jesus was a new to me author when I found this series but I know for certain I will be keeping an eye out for other books and series by her.

I have not read the other books in this series and was able to enjoy it without missing a beat. The way this author weaves a tale is wonderful. It’s one of those stories that I was able to immediately visualize in my head. Majik and warriors and lots of other things (there is a unicorn) in the amazing world the author has created.

This is one of those stories that has all of the elements similar to the writers who go by initials JR, (G) RR, CS and even JK. It’s epic and full and adventurous while moving the story forward with every word and character. While at times it is incredibly descriptive, it was never overly so. There were times that I absolutely skimmed because I just had to find out what was going on, but I don’t feel like anything was used as filler to up a word count.

I will be going back and reading the first 2 stories in the series and I will also be keeping an eye out for any books this author writes in the future.

Kadie Scott has once again shown me what an incredible author she is. Taming the Troublemaker is Book 3 in The Hills of Texas Series, this is my second book from her and as I said before I will definitely be going back and reading book 1. Out of the two, I have read, this one is definitely my favourite out of the two.

This book was everything and more! It had romance, passion, humour two amazing characters that are real, relatable and honestly the most lovable characters. Everything about them is brilliant. I love them both individually, but together they are even better, and it is just a shame it takes so long for both of them to realise, as they both prolong their HEA. What they have is something you can tell will be epic and forever, they have great banter together as well as passion that I don’t know how they went so long denying it and to make their connection even better was the feelings they had towards one little boy!
I loved that this book was written in dual POV’s it really made me connect even more with Autry & Beth, I loved knowing what they were really thinking and feeling beyond what they actually said!

I cannot rate this book enough, I can’t wait to see what else Kadie Scott brings to this series and where Autry & Beth’s story goes, I hope this isn’t the last we get of their story.
I highly recommend this read, don’t miss it!

Amy is more standoffish when it comes to trusting people, she’s been let down one to many times. Brody and Amy have an interesting relationship (if you would call it that) at the beginning. This is the conclusion to the Knight Series. Lia’s happily ever after right!? Hold that thought!

I love this book and this series. Sonya Jesus has continued her easy writing style with this story. The first three books were getting to know all the players while this book focused on The King and The Queen.

If you have read this series from the beginning, and you should, then you will already know that Hawk is a psycho! But if for some reason you were on the fence about him, read this:

“I can already feel Amelia’s tears moisturizing my skin when he passes. Until then, prolonging his death is the best punishment. Hope will slowly dissipate and leave her with nothing, until he finally dies and fills her with loss.”

Each surprise in this story had me shaking my head in disbelief and in wonder! The cliff hanger from Book 3 continues into this book and adds to the devastation, shock and down right heart break!

I loved every part of this book but the ending, absolute perfection! I can not wait to read more from Sonya Jesus!

I have read a couple of books from this talented author but she continues to blow my mind. This is the first book to Default Distraction series and wow what a great start. I absolutely love rock star romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. I was hooked to this story right from the beginning. It only took me a day to devour this incredible book.

Brody Daniels had a very hard childhood but now he is the lead singer of a huge rock band. He has it all money, women, and fast cars but he feels like something is missing. Brody wants something real. He knows that all his fame can be taken away. Brody is out for a walk to clear his head and he comes across this cute shop. He can’t help but to go inside. Brody meets the beautiful Amy Harper. He is shocked at how he feels for her. Brody can’t get enough of Amy. They get to know each other and they quickly realize they might have found the one. Will Amy be able to be in the spotlight like Brody or will it be too much for this small town girl? Will Brody convince Amy to take a chance with him or will his past try to destroy it all?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, doubts, forgiveness, and love. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters. Brody is a hot rockstar but deep down he wants the simple life. He loves what he does and he doesn’t take it for granted. The way he treats Amy will make your heart melt. Amy is a sweetheart. She loves her shop that she shares with her grandma but she wants something more. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This talented author will have you at the edge of your seat until the end. I can’t wait to read more about this incredible band.

I have to admit that once again I wasn’t disappointed. This is the third book in the series and I was just as glued to the pages as I was the previous two. The author keeps the drama flowing and brings the characters to life.

I really liked how the author is able to incorporate the drama into the book along with a very subtle romance undertone between Libby and James. There is just enough twists and turns in this book to keep the reader on their toes and keep them interested. I really found the intrigue in this book kept the flow of the story. The author has a very refreshing writing style and really brings the reader to route for Libby as the drama unfolds around her. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

This is just the book I had been waiting for in this series. I have read the other previous books and was so eager for this one. I was not disappointed. The author has such a unique style and brings her characters to life.

I really enjoyed the chemistry that still was very present between Seraphina and Nate. The way that the author brings the story about really draws the reader in. Seraphina’s character really has the reader routing for her. The battle between good and evil really plays out in this book and I was glued to the book till the very end. I definitely will be reading more from this author in the future.

Brody was an amazing steamy romance. Amy and Brody both came from broken families and a messed up past. They each have their own methods in protecting themselves from heartache. When they meet though, the chemistry is unbelievable. I loved reading about each of their characters and history as the storyline progressed. Speaking of the storyline, I found it easy to follow and difficult to put down. It really seemed to flow from one scene to the next. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Seraphina’s Revolution is the fourth book in Sheena Hutchinson’s exciting Seraphina series. It continues the story of angels and demons, of prophecies and battles.
As the book begins, Seraphina’s been getting a handle on the immense power she yields. She’s able to balance and control it, more or less. But it’s not long before she’s thrown off balance and is again struggling to keep herself from using her powers for the wrong thing.
Dreams are used a lot, in different ways. I like the dream scenes as they break up the story and give us glimpses into the story ahead and the characters’ mindsets. They’re vividly described, as is the rest of the book!
As well as continuing the story chronologically, Seraphina’s Revolution fills in gaps and information about the past. It’s very satisfying to read!
For me, this is a five star book. I like this series a lot, and would recommend starting at the beginning. It’s great if you like action-packed fantasy – I think it would particularly appeal to fans of Buffy the Vampire slayer with its vivid action and training scenes and “chosen one” story arc.

Brody by A.S. Roberts is the first book in the Default Distraction series. If you like all things music and rock and roll then this is definitely a book for you.
Surely if you have everything anyone could dream of then you must be happy, right? Wrong. At least it is for Brody Daniels, lead singer of the chart topping US rock band Default Distraction. He is bored of the lifestyle, of the cars, the money, the women. But more than anything he is bored of the pretence. Of convincing everyone that he is happy all the time. He wants something more from his life. Something more than he can get from the music and the fame.
Amy Harper on the other hand definitely has something more. She has more debt than he will ever have. She has more struggles with her business than he will ever have. And she has definitely had more than enough of it all.
So what happens when the two of them meet? What happens when their worlds collide? Can they go back to their realities? Or can they push for something more, together?
This book has everything you could possible want. Hot rock star? Check. Strong woman? Check. Of the charts chemistry? Double check! I absolutely loved Brody and Amy together. I felt their connection and their chemistry from the instant they met. I found myself being swept away by their attraction. And this book wasn’t all about the connection. The story was such a good one because it was so relatable – we have all at one point or another wanted something more than we had. Even if we should have been happy with what we had. The writing keeps pace with this story beautifully and really holds your attention. Anyone who wants to be swept away needs to buy this book immediately.

Taming the Troublemaker by Kadie Scott is the third book in the Hills of Texas series. Each of these books can be read as a stand-alone.
Having read another in this series I knew what to expect when I picked up this book. However I didn’t expect to connect with this characters as much as what I did. I loved reading about Beth and Autry. They have such strong emotions for each other and I believed everything about them.
On top of that this was a great romantic story that was really heartwarming. The author creates a lovely journey for the two characters that is so easy to read. This is definitely s book worth reading.

Do yourself a favor and read The Seraphina Series in order. It’s really important to know the how and who of what is going on. (Prior to reading book 4, I skimmed back over the first 3 because I remember being a little lost when I started the third book and I wanted to have full knowledge of the characters.)

This whole series has been amazing from beginning to end. Now that it’s over, I will be going back to read the entire series back to back. It will be a little bit easier doing it a second time because I won’t be holding my breath waiting to see what happens.

If you had to ask me to pick a favorite scene from the series, I really could not. I could quote a hundred different moments (please don’t ask me when I don’t have my highlighted kindle in my hand) and convince you to love this series as much as I did. Yes I did enjoy some of the stories better than others – but each had a depth and complexity to it that moved the series along in such a way that I had a hard time waiting for the next story.

As the series continued, it got a little darker and more “adult”. As the character grew, so did the story (does that make sense). I really hope the author writes a future series that crosses over a bit – that is, after all, how we first met Seraphina.

I really enjoyed and recommend this entire series.

Captivated By The Millionaire by Nina Singh is a book in the Mills and Boon True Love series. It is the first time I have read a book by this author and also the first time I have ever read anything Mills and Boon. It is certainly not what I expected from a Mills and Boon novel.
This book has a fantastic storyline and I was drawn into the story from the very first page. The characters are very well written and the author gives them great depth and you can’t help but get behind them and hope they get their HEA.
The book has many of the factors which make for a great romance novel – angst, sizzling chemistry, broken characters and very much an opposites attract story.
Jess is an artist who teaches at the children’s centre in Martha’s Vineyard. She’s been hurt badly in the past and a romance is definitely not on the cards for her. While painting a mural on a child’s bedroom she has her first meeting with brooding, gorgeous millionaire Jordan Paydan. Let’s just say their first meeting doesn’t go very well, or their second for that matter.
Jordan has uprooted his to take care of his 6 year old sister Sonya who has been left in his care after the death of his father. Jordan’s priority is Sonya and he definitely does not have time in his life for a woman. So why can’t he stop thinking about the beautiful artist Jess?
Neither of them are looking for love but they are drawn closer and closer together due to Sonya (who I must add, is the most adorable little girl). Will they give into the sizzling chemistry between them and admit their growing feelings for each other? I would thoroughly recommend you read this book to find out.

A great read about hope. Matt and Mikeala have found happiness in each other but it is always followed by a shadow of illness. Matt continues his battle with cancer, hoping that a potential bone marrow transplant from a sister he only just discovered can save the day. Together, Matt and Mikeala battle through it all, balancing moments of sorrow with ones of joy. But can they hope for a bright future when so much is at stake?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Matt struggling to stay hopeful or Mikeala trying to be strong for Matt and still follow her passions. Great cast of supporting characters like Daniel as a fun friend or Kate stubborn and brave. I loved the sense of a large family in the novel full of love and support for one another. However, at times all the drama with his sister got confusing and perhaps could be simplified for the reader.
I loved the use of contrasts in the novel with the whites of the hospital and the colourful decorations later on. Also with the moments of sadness and joy making the characters and their struggles more relatable and emotive. Or the bright hopes and dreams contrasting with the reality of illness perfectly written. I also liked the use of dates in the novel to give an indication of time progressing quickly for Matt which was a great addition. The mix of the science of hospitals and cancer with the romance of love and marriage combined perfectly to make a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.
