Bonded is the 3rd book in the amazing Twisted Hearts Love Story series by Autumn Sand. Each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone but as this is such a fantastic series, I’d recommend reading them all. And if you are going to read them all then it would add more to the enjoyment if you read them in order as this may prevent any possible spoilers.
We were introduced to the 2 main characters in previous books, Magnum as one of Tony’s men and Brenda was the paediatric nurse who looked after Cyma’s daughter Leila in the 2nd book.
Magnum had a horrific childhood having been physically and mentally abused by his father. In this book his father is ill and this causes Magnum to have more flashbacks and dreams about the abuse he suffered.
Brenda also has demons from her past that she’s trying to escape but it looks like her past is about to come back to haunt her in a major way.
This book is a gripping, romantic thriller. The story grabbed you from the very first page and did not let go. You are taken through a roller coaster of emotions and there are many twists and turns that you just don’t expect.
I loved both of these characters and how they both worked hard to help each other overcome their horrific pasts. The author writes fantastic characters who have so much depth to them and you really get invested in their stories. I have loved the books in this series so far and I’m now looking forward to reading book 4, ‘Impact’.
