Hoosier Dad by Elizabeth Seckman is a contemporary romance book with loveable characters and a great story line to boot.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I was really taken with her writing style. She effortlessly draws you in and makes you fall instantly in love with the characters she has created. Sarah and Rich were so clearly made for each other and they were the type of characters that you really get behind.
I loved the story as well. I liked the fact that it was the father fighting for his kids rather than the typical story of the mother doing so. It gave it an edge to the book that you don’t always see. I was also really taken with the cover of this book. Even if I hadn’t decided to read it anyway I think the cover would have made me pause long enough to give it a try.
This is a great book and one that I can highly recommend. I am looking forward to exploring more of Elizabeth Seckman’s work in the future.
