Vincent, having connections, know that the powers Miles has is a rare mutation. Miles show so many abilities, and when he falls ill, his parents need to find a place that understands everything about him.
This story line draws you right in, and holds you fully until the last page. The author has such a way to make the story believable. From the way they actually parent, to the family support, and he writing style. I adored this book and I cannot wait to read the next in the series! FIVE STARS!!

Queen of the Warrior Bees (Natural Forces Book 1) by Jean Gill is such an amazing story. This book is scary and eye opening. It really makes you think about the world around you. I felt so many emotions while reading this book and it made me want to stand up for people’s rights. I definitely want to see what other books Jean Gill has written.

This is full of action and suspense. Every page I turn there is something else happening. Will Theron find them? What does DJ have that can help them? Will they find all three pieces in time? Will the trinity be able to stop Thanatos? These kids travel all over the globe looking for all the pieces of the Lance. While saving the souls isn’t their only quest in this story…there are repercussions that cause more problems.
While all the characters have been together previously I really enjoyed DJ. He is new to the group(like me reading this). He is fun and cautious but full of energy. He also loves finally having a brother. I love his enthusiasm. Hunter is the MC. He goes through his test and accumulates a lot of power. As he learns to control it some crazy things happen. Will his power be enough to help him win the war? If it does…what happens after?
I enjoyed reading this. The relationships between all the characters were good. There are a TON of characters in here. I have not read the other books in this series and really had no trouble following along. They did reference some things that had happened in the past books thAt sound interesting. So I would suggest starting the series at the beginning. The characters are vampires and witches working together…which I enjoyed. The story flows very nicely and the drama and action easily kept me interested.

I have read a few books from this author and she continues to blow my mind. This is a short story that will make you want more. I could not put this book down for anything. I wanted to know what happened. It only took me a couple of hours to devour this book.
Telly is the neighborhood’s bus driver and he loves it. He knows all of his kids on his route personally. Telly gets up and does his normal bus route and he then goes to his other job. He works for a nice man when the kids are in school. Telly comes back to the school to pick the kids up but no one comes out of the building. He parks his bus and goes into the school and there is no one there. Telly ends up finding one boy that was hiding. The town sends search parties to see if they can find the kids and teachers that just vanished. Telly finds some clues but will he be able to put them together? Where did all these people go and why are they missing?
I absolutely loved this book. The storyline had me hooked right from the beginning. It felt like you were trying to solve the mystery with Telly. This talented author kept you on your toes all the way until the end. This author is becoming one of my favorites for short stories. I can’t wait to see what she will write about next. Orion’s Kiss by Claire Luana is an exciting and unique story that will have you hooked from the word go. This is an author that I have become familiar over the past year or so and not once has a book of hers been disappointing. So when I saw this book I knew that I had to get it immediately. I loved how the author took a well-known Greek mythology story and created her own version entirely. It didn’t feel forced or like she was just regurgitating the old story. The characters were great. I know from the moment I read the description that this was a couple I would be rooting for. You could really see the full development of their relationship and it was lovely to watch unfold. I very much enjoyed this book and Claire Luana is becoming one of my must read authors.

Act ll: Playing with Fire by Michele Sims is the second book in the Moore Family Saga. This is a series that I would definitely recommend reading in order as it is a continuation of the story from book one. I have to say that I enjoyed this book even more than the first thanks to the family feel I got about it. A lot of books tend to pass of the children and focus on the adults are the main storylines. However this book really excels in focusing on Miles as the “main character” while keeping it interesting and complex. I found this book to be so intense at times that I almost couldn’t read it however I also could not put it down. I wasn’t ever sure whether or not I liked Miles. At some points I felt really sorry for him and felt like I wanted to help him, at other times it felt like he was beyond help. This made for brilliant reading. If you haven’t done so already I would definitely recommend this series. I am looking forward to reading what else is to come.

Ruin: The El Diablo Chronicles is a fantastic romantic suspense novel by Autumn Sand. It is a spin off from the Twisted Hearts Love Story series but can be read as a stand-alone. I was gutted when that series ended so was overjoyed that Autumn Sand decided to give El Diablo and Tallie their own story. I loved El Diablo and Tallie’s story. Their characters are amazing. This story contains storylines that may act as triggers for some readers. There is an element of sexual abuse in the story. This book had everything I love in a book. I was gripped tightly right from the very start and wasn’t let go. You will go through every emotion possible when reading it – anger, devastation, heartbreak, this book has it in spades. Autumn Sand sure knows how to tell a story. I loved that the characters I had loved from the Twisted Hearts books were back. They don’t overshadow El Diablo and Tallie at all but their role in this book is essential. I have to say that the author throws a few curveballs at you. I had several WTF!!! moments reading this. I would definitely recommend this book. Also I would recommend that you also read the 4 books in the Twisted Hearts Love Story series as they are so damn good.

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin is a psychological thriller. What makes someone a good neighbor? New to the neighborhood, Bryant and Harper Page are glad to meet their new neighbors. The first impression might not be accurate in this case. I won’t say more about the plot because I don’t want to take away from anyone’s experience. This is a good story that kept me reading. I really enjoyed the character development and story. I wasn’t sure what to expect and am glad this exceeded my expectations. I will be looking for more from this author in the future.

WHAT A RIDE! This book was much more than I expected it would be. Definitely a little thriller with a lot of psychological suspense! Do you have a fear of something? Maybe noises or the basement when you are home alone at night? (I mean who doesn’t? Right) This book plays on those fears. The author grabs them and pulls them forward until you can’t help but feel for these characters. Afraid, Scared and Worried. I started this and read late into the next morning. I could NOT put this one down. I needed to see what happens and whose digging the biggest hole. You know that hole right? It starts of with a little slip up then becomes a monster then you don’t know how to fill that hole back up to put things back to normal….and it just keeps growing…and growing. I loved how in this book everything started out small and slowly the characters are pulling their hair out and they don’t know how they got to that point. I mean it’s perfect..just perfect!
This author did an Ah-mazing job with this story! The creation of the situation these people find themselves in can so easily happen in real life. Scary! The writing flowed so nicely and the characters were spot on! This is a first time author for me and it won’t be the last! I plan on checking out her other books and recommending this one to many people!

I was really looking forward to reading this book, First because it is a new author to me, 2nd the synopsis had me curious and 3rd the cover was awesome! I was definitely not disappointed and it lived up to what I was hoping for throughout the entire story.
The storyline was unique and had me guessing from the first chapter. I was even choosing because each brother won me over at one point in time or another and this author did such a great job leading you down the wrong path just to swerve and head back. I loved all the characters in this story, many times I felt like I was right there among many of them. I read this in one sitting and found myself laughing out loud at times and then very sad at times.
She comes home, all grown up and she has her sights set on one of the brothers, the brothers that vowed never to cross that line with her. You have to read as she weaves her way through this story and if you’re anything like me you will need some kleenex throughout.
Wonderful story and I can not wait for more from this new to me author..

It is a story that pulled me in from the very beginning and I found myself not wanting to put it down until I had finished the last page. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Tallie and Raymond. Tallie is a woman who keeps herself guarded. She is someone who gets what she wants and makes no apologies for it. She is also haunted by her past. She has now met Raymond. Raymond is part myth, part man. He is a man that could be considered cold and calculating. He keeps himself away from family and friends. He keeps himself protected. The sparks fly when both Raymond and Tallie meet. There is no commitment, no strings attached. Will it stay that way? What does the future hold for Tallie and Raymond? Read this book to find out. I really felt for Tallie as she has been through so much in her life and her past shapes the decisions that she makes. Raymond is a man that could have any woman that he wants. He is finding himself with feelings for Tallie. This book had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. It also had me on an emotional rollercoaster. The story Orion’s Kiss by Claire Luana is a YA/fantasy book. I found it hard to put down once I started. It is both interesting and entertaining. The story includes mythology and romance. I love books that include the paranormal and this story is a good example of why. I loved reading about the characters of Merope and Orion. Merope is a young girl who wants to avert disaster. She is forced to watch as her sisters die lifetime after lifetime and feels the pain over an over again. Orion is the one that commits the acts that Merope is trying to stop from happening. When a twist of fate occurs, it has Merope and Orion wondering if they can break the curse this lifetime. What does the future hold for Merope and Orion? Read this book to find out. I grew to care about Orion and Merope with each chapter that I read and wanted them to find success and happiness. Merope is a character that I had empathy for. There is an attraction between Merope and Orion. The story includes action scenes and times when you wonder what will happen next. Right off the bat there were so many things that intrigued me about this book. I absolutely adore bees so just reading the words warrior bees made me think “I need this book right now”. And I was not disappointed. Mielitta was found as baby and she believes that for this reason, she is kept as a servant and a child while all her peers are now considered adults. Most of her school friends also seem to have forgotten her somewhat. Is this some sort of magic or are they just all just huge jerks? The Forest is forbidden and most people don’t question why. Mielitta can’t help but be curious when everyone else is content and I love her for that. How she experiences the world around her is extremely intriguing. Food and drink only taste of salt but her sense of smell has like 4 layers to it. She can assign colors to different scents as well as descriptive words she has only read but knows instinctively are accurate. Everything about this girl fascinating and had me tearing through this book for answers, especially after reading about the Councillors. They immediately seemed sketchy and their abilities made me distrust basically every word they said. They all seemed out for themselves no matter how much they said they were loyal to the Citadel. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book!

I’m a sucker for anything related to history or mythology or any retelling and reimagination associated. This one was immediately in my hands and lived up to my expectations. A beautifully written retelling of Merope and Orion. I loved this book from beginning to end. To all my mythology lovers out there, you need this book. Stat!!!

This action packed fantasy drew me in and held me tightly in its grip. I found myself immersed in this world of witches and was just enthralled. What a thrill ride! I absolutely loved this book and thought the characters were wonderfully developed. Copeland has truly created a masterpiece that people of all ages will fall in love with. Loved it!

This book was great! I couldn’t put it down. This suspenseful mystery kept me on the edge of my seat and by the end of it my heart was going a million miles a minute. Our MC is awesome! Witty and smart she kept me entertained through the whole book. I am looking forward to reading more by this author!

Whoa. Hands down this is a must read. The description and warning is spot on. You can easily skim what might be difficult for you to digest. But this gripped me from beginning to end. Sand is a must read author and this just continues to solidify that opinion. A must read. Run and get it as fast as you can!

Queen of the Warrior Bees (Natural Forces Book 1) by Jean Gill. I don’t normally like these types of books but this book is Amazing! I read through it as fast as I could. Its the story of 18 year old Mielitta who knows she’s different but doesn’t understand why. The Citadel where she lives is getting ready to to go to War with the Forest. She has been bullied her whole life by 2 boys in the Citadel named Bastien & Jannlou and as they get older it gets worse and more dangerous. She flees to the forbidden Forest and is attacked by thousands of bees. She survives the attack but has a glowing bee emblem on her leg. She finds out this empowers her to shape shift and summon the bees to help her and they can call her as well. Will Mielitta work with the bees as the battle between the Citadel and Forest to try and reunite them or will they fail? Read Queen of Bees to find out!

Behind Blue Eyes by C.S. Duffy is the first book in the Stockholm Murders series. Be ready for a roller coaster of a story. I was drawn into the story and didn’t want to put this thriller down. Set in Sweden where Ellie has newly moved she is drawn into intrigue and mystery. Whom can she trust? This is a gem of a book and I’m so glad I picked it up. I haven’t read a thriller like this since The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo. This had me second guessing characters and had me relating to Ellie and what she has been plunged into. I am really looking forward to getting my hands on the next book in this series.

Kingdom of War by Tricia Copeland is the fourth book in the Kingdom Journals series. I was leary to start on the fourth book in the series but this can be read as a standalone. If you are like me you will be drawn in immediately and won’t want to put down the book. This is a fantasy story with supernatural characters. The world building is good and I could imagine the story easily. Hunter is the main character in this book and he is fun to read. He is going through a transformation but he has human traits. None of the characters are perfect each has flaws which make them enduring and relatable. I will be going back to catch the other books in the series after reading this fun read.

Kingdom of War (Kingdom Journals Book 4) by Tricia Copeland
This was a great read. The author did an exceptional job bringing me into a world full of action, fantasy, danger, and so much more. This is the first book I have read in this series and I was able to follow easily. Now that I have read this one I am absolutely going to go back and read the previous books in this series. This book had me hooked from the start and I couldn’t put it down till I got to the end. I liked Hunter’s character and it was intriguing to watch him struggle with the power inside and what he believes to be evil inside him trying to take over. I really enjoyed the relationship between the characters and their banter with each other. I highly recommend this book you will not be disappointed.

This is the first book that I have read in this series. It can be read as a stand-alone but for me personally, I would have liked to have read the others first. I like knowing everything and it would have been good to know the history between the main characters and their stories. I liked how the author intertwined the Bible and the history of the angels with the witches. I found it added more depth to the story. I found this book to be quite original and entertaining. I will definitely be reading the preceding parts to this series.

Never Let Me Go (Bayou Devils MC Book 6) by A.M. Myers 4 stars
What a way to kick off this book. This story had an interesting take on a person with amnesia and i really felt for her and how confused she felt about everything. I will say i love this series, but this one felt just a little different. I felt like some questions went unanswered and some decisions made weren’t realistic (I know its fiction but still) but it didn’t take away from how I fept with the characters. Great read and I highly suggest the rest the of this series, they’re great.
