Al Capone at the Blanche Hotel by Linda Bennett Pennell – Review by Anastasia Dodson

Al Capone at the Blanche HotelAl Capone at the Blanche Hotel by Linda Bennett Pennell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is my first book by this author and I thought it was an interesting one. It was a historical romance that had quite a bit of suspenseful moments tied into the story line. I really enjoyed reading about the Jack Blevins, his sister Meg, and Meg’s fiancé who is a sheriff’s deputy, and Liz Reams. They all had an extremely important role in the story and I was excited to see where things were headed. The story takes place in the 1930s when Al Capone checked into the Blanche motel. Why was he at this little motel in this small town? Why are there body’s dropping all around town? The story also tells about a present day woman and her search for the truth on what happend in that small unknown town in the 1930s.
I was pulled in the story until the very end and I was eager to see what was going to happen! This story was an interesting one and I am looking forward to reading more by this author.
