The Traitor (An Underground Bad Boys Romance Book 2) by India Kells was a great 5 star read.

Knox has bought a mechanic shop in a small town away from everything. Josie is a woman that Knox has seen several times and can’t get her off his mind. Josie is trying to stay to herself and working to get herself away from her soon to be ex and his debts. When she is approached by her friend Georgia to cover her job while she goes away for a few weeks she jumps at the opportunity to make more money. Knox is surprised to see Josie working in his shop office, but pleasantly surprised.

When Knox’s friend Gage shows up and offers to work in his shop things get even more interesting. As time moves forward Knox continues to battle with his attraction to Josie.

He kept repeating to himself that she was too young and he was too damaged even as he turned her chair so she faced him fully and his mouth descended to hers.

Knox was great, he was very concerned for Josie and wanted to take care of her before she ran herself ragged. Josie ends up living with Knox and Gage, yum. Josie struggles with self esteem issues due to her ex, so the Gage and Knox decided to show her just how beautiful she is. And lets just say hold on to your seats, we get some very hot and heavy scenes that will melt your kindle. Overall I really enjoyed the storyline and all of the characters involved. This village has always been protected by the gods but that is about to end. The fishermen have quit catching fish, the trees have quit bearing fruit and the winds are whispering of big change. Nerissa is about to be given away by her father for marriage but she decides she wants some say in the matter so when Zeer a visiting fisherman meets her and sweeps her off her feet she is smitten. Is Zeer the answer to her problems? Nothing is as simple as it seems and Nerissa is about to find out who she really is and that everyone around her has not been truthful. This is a rollercoaster story that has twist and turns you never expect. I loved it and can’t wait for the next!

    Love Me, Dreamy (Love Me Series) by Laura Burton is a wonderfully written paranormal/Fantasy book that I loved reading. I got so entranced that I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t stop reading till the end. This author’s style of writing and her attention to detail are spit on. Her characters are very well developed and easily relatable. I loved reading about Amelia and Toby,there were times I found myself “daydreaming”while trying to figure out what happens next. These to together there is definitely a attraction between them and the chemistry between them will make the sparks fly. There is one problem though there are strange men in suits that keep appearing wherever they go. Who are these strange men in black suits? Does Toby know? What does their future look like? I’m sitting here stunned and quite frankly a bit speechless. This book is brilliant. It is a brutally honest look at mental illness as dealt with by a teen. So often we tiptoe around this subject, in real life as well as screen or prose. This felt raw and honest. The multi-POV makes for an engaging and fast paced read. I was glued to the book as soon as I opened it. An absolute must read.

Sanctuary: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity Book 2) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk was a fast pace, thrilling read, that had me hooked from start to finish.

The second book in this unique compelling series, we are tossed back into the tick of things and it was pulling right out of the gate. I love how fast moving, detailed and exciting this book was. It has well rounded characters, complex plot, engaging dialogue and stimulating action. I flew through this read, and like the last I was sad when it ended. Yes, I do know there are more books, and I will be checking them out, (just pretty much, take my money,) cause I might be slightly addicted to this series. Now I will say that you have to read the first book before this one, as this series has a continuation plot line, and you will get lost without the first read. That and, since this book picks up right were the last leaves off, you’re going to miss out on that heart pounding ending, and spoil the impact.

Overall this book, this series, is worth your time, energy, and it’s worth to be talked about. So please take my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval, that you will get captured by this original, fresh, outstanding read.

The author immediately pulls readers in with kidnapping scenario and the interstellar escape. I loved this novel! The characters were amazing, detailed, and developed well. I also enjoyed the creativity and thought put behind each setting. The storyline was also easy to follow and full of action and adventure. I am very excited to read more of this series and I highly recommend it!

“Where’s your ideal? Where would you go if you could go anywhere, anywhen??”

Such is the way this story starts. There are rules in time travel and if they are broken, a chain of events can happen to alter things beyond repair. While this is an age-old trope, there are new twists to the telling which made it fresh. This story also had a bit of humor in a few of the more “flagrant” characters.

At times the story was a bit over descriptive yet it didn’t take away from the “meat” of the story. This is a full bodied story that provides suspense as well as world building for future books in the series.

I will be keeping an eye out for future installments by this favored author.

Siren’s Call would not be my typical go to read, but anything that is by the talented Ms. McKinley I have to get my hands on regardless of what it is supposed to be about. I have never been disappointed yet with a novel of hers and this one is no exception to the rule. I loved the way Amy McKinley wrote this twist on Greek Mythology and spun into it a complex tale of love and life as a woman.

I will admit that the first few parts of the book were slow to start, but it was evident that was due to the story being set up to take off into a beautiful tale I couldn’t stop reading. I was glad I remained patient because the way the story unfolded was absolutely perfect and quite frankly it captured my number one favorite spot of Amy McKinley’s novels. I won’t go into much more detail than this or what she has chosen to divulge in the blurb. I couldn’t bare to spoil one moment of the journey. You will just have to take my ultimate high approval and word for it. I can’t wait to see what will come next from the talented Amy McKinley!

I loved the journey of this story. Between Scotland and Ireland the scenery could not have a better backdrop. In this book, Eamonn takes a journey to Scotland to find his bride. Kate is on a journey to find him. There are some obstacles in their way. Eammon has the brooch his father had given him. We see the power in the brooch when Eammon uses it. Will Eammon find Kate and vice versa? Will others get in the way? Will the brooch help or will it hinder Eammon?

Monty and the Monster by Rhonda Smiley in my opinion would be a great book for elementary through junior high school. It is a well written and the story tells a tale which can be related to by most kids. . Monty is a young man who has moved four times in the last two years. Now that sounds like a lot and it is but what is even worse is that he is in seventh grade. This complicates things a little bit. He does feel like he fits in. He is looking for a friend which he has not accomplished yet. While looking in the basement he found a serum that will replicate. Monty, like any 12 year boy, decides he will create a friend. Will this actually solve his friendless dilemma? What will the other kids say? Will his friend work out or will it be more trouble than what he is worth?

These two authors are incredibly talented and creative in their storytelling. The colorful descriptions of the characters and their unique and individual design draw the reader into their world. From a stubborn, dying phoenix to a brilliant warrior siren, the characters in this book lead us into an adventure of struggle and survival in a world that wants to ruin their existence.
Aidan and Lorelei gather and become part of an alliance with an odd group of rebel shifters and form a plan to escape from their world, to sanctuary where they can be free to live as they please.
The story flows from one incident to another smoothly and draw the reader into the situation. The ending is brutal and definitely leaves the reader screaming for more. I need to know what happens next. Get your copy today and do yourself a favor, grab the next one too! You will not want to be left hanging!

It is a satire from start to finish and is hard to put down. It is one that you find yourself laughing at but you want to smack yourself in the head for laughing. The story is based on the residents of a small town who thanks to rival gangs the town gets far more than is bargained for but in amongst that there is mystery, ghosts and drama that goes with living in a small town. This tongue in cheek story will leave you laughing long after you finish.

I have read a few books from this author and she continues to blow my mind. This has become my favorite series of this year. I love all of the family and friend bonds that this group has. This is part of the Brothers of Camelot series. I would recommend that you read all of the books leading up to this one because there is a lot of things that happen before this book. I was so happy to read more on Bella and Fitz. I could not put this book down once I started it. It only took me a few hours to devour this amazing story.

Bella and Fitz fell in love when they were really young. They were inseparable until they were ripped apart from each other as teens. Now Fitz is a bitter man that wishes he could see Bella again. He doesn’t believe in relationships. Fitz is the playboy of the group and he likes it that way. Fitz doesn’t know it but his love is closer than he thinks. When Bella comes back into his life Fitz feels complete. Will Fitz finally be able to have his happy ever after or will the past come back to destroy it?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, mystery, and forgiveness. You will fall in love with these characters all over again. Bella has become my favorite female character of this year. She is strong and independent. Fitz is very moody due to his past. He doesn’t want a relationship because he’s afraid he will get hurt again. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next. I can’t wait to read more about Hawkins.

Sanctuary: A Paranormal Romance Novella by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk is the second book in the Captivity series. This series does need to be read in order as this book follows on from the last.
This book is a brilliant follow up to the first book. You are thrown right back into the story and everything that is going on. It was so easy to pick back up with the characters. It honestly felt like I had never put them down at all.
This was a nice quick read but also fast paced and exciting. You really find yourself swept away by the whole story. If you haven’t already discovered these two authors then you should try this series immediately.

Its been 4 days since I finished this book…I’m still not sure if I’m ready to review it but I have to so that maybe I can get some closure. I’ve read a lot of books in my life and I’ve almost met my challenge this year and I’ve got a handful of favorites so far this year in many different genres. I have to say that this book touched me in ways no other book ever has. I’ve read many of the reviews where so many said it wasn’t what they expected as they were looking for a thriller as it’s described.

A thriller is a genre of literature, film, and television whose primary feature is that it induces strong feelings of excitement, anxiety, tension, suspense, fear, and other similar emotions in its readers or viewers—in other words, media that thrills the audience.

In my opinion this was every bit the Domestic Thriller I expected. As a Mom I was thoroughly invested in this story and felt every emotion described in the definition above. I can’t even imagine how I would have handled everything in this story but kind of feel like it would have been very similar to the actions of what this mother did and how she reacted. I could completely relate to it all. I finished reading this book and had to sit after crying and having a hard time reading the words to finish and I just sat and stared. My husband even asked me if I was ok at one point. I was in awe at how well this story was written and how real this author kept everything. The Mom in this book wasn’t perfect, she didn’t do what society deems right in every aspect but the one thing she did do was Love with her whole being.

I could probably sit here and write as many words for this review as there are in the book itself so I’m going to focus now on this author. I’ve read other books by her and genuinely loved them all, but this one has made me seriously want to meet her. I want this book in my hands physically and I know I will read it again and again.

My advice…Read from cover to cover..not just the story but the before and after the story then do what i did and go to her website and read her about me.

Thank you Miss Billiter for giving me this book, it will never leave my mind and no matter what I read in the future this book will always hold a special place with me and i saw a bit of a hint of another to possibly follow. Oh My Goodness I must start preparing for that.

Rule Breaker by Phoebe Alexander is such a sexy, steamy, contemporary romance that focuses on an MFM threesome with some drama, intrigue, a little suspense, office romance elements, and plenty of emotion.
I have read all of Ms. Alexander’s books now and I can always count on her to deliver a captivating read. I love that Ms. Alexander never fails to up the ante with each book she delivers- each one slightly eclipsing previous ones. She’s able to create sizzling, interesting, and entirely addictive stories- with a fully developed cast of relatable, quirky, everyday people who come across as entirely realistic, believable, and quite endearing.
On an interesting note, this book seems to be a crossover with Game Changer by Sylvie Stewart, as the two books share characters, stage, and other details. I really enjoyed both books, and loved the clever, entertaining, and original stories both authors produced using the shared elements. While both books can be read as standalones, I really recommend reading both!
Athena Lennox is the editor of a lifestyle magazine whose readership has decline over the years. It is serious need of a restyle and revamp. She has a crack team assembled and is determined to turn things around. She and her husband Warren have a great life. Warren is now retired, and their children have left the nest. He’d like her to retire too, but she’s worked too hard to get to where she is.
Warren would love to spice things up and add some more sizzle to their relationship. But Athena isn’t all that convinced, especially now that she has more demands with work. Enter, stage right, Ramsey Pearce- the new marketing director, who’s very easy on the eye. Add a little drama, a few twists, some emotion, an extra dollop of sexy, and this story really takes off! What happens you ask? Well you really should grab yourself a copy and discover all the sinfully hot details for yourself. You won’t regret it!

I’ll admit at first I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this story because it’s a bit outside my comfort zone but I was definitely pleasantly surprised by the fact I loved it! This author has a special gift with words. This story is so different from others I’ve read by this author and I mean that it all the right ways. The characters are complex and well written that bring the story to life. The story is well thought out and paced nicely. I was hooked from beginning to end. A few twists thrown in and I was one happy reader. I’m giving this story a five star review and highly recommend it and this author. Can’t wait to see where the author takes readers next.

Here we are again with another wonderful set of stories in the Guilty Pleasure series – full of passion, chemistry and some very steamy moments! I love reading about Brad *swoon* and all the sexy things that he gets up to! The stories in this collection may be short but they are in no way any less steamy! Joyce McCartyh definitely has a talent for writing these short, steamy stories; they certainly knows how to raise the temperature quickly! The pace and flow of the whole book is fantastic and absolutely keeps your interest from beginning to end! I am really looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future!

Trouble in Mind is another excellent story in the Interstellar Rescue Series – I absolutely love getting lost in this authors writing! Her attention to detail is amazing and it makes for some great world building. I think that this may be my favourite from the series so far! I loved Alana and Gabriel! They were fantastic characters to read about and I was fully invested in their story and everything that was going on! I loved the twists and turns and guessing alongside the characters about just what was going on – things definitely weren’t as they first appeared! Multiple Points of View meant that I was fully immersed in the story from beginning to end. The authors’ writing was great with a fantastic pace and flow! I am definitely looking forward to reading more from the series and this author in the future!

The Season Finale by Heather Silvio fab four-star read. This is number six in the Paranormal Talent Agency series and ends the series nicely. I would recommend you read the series in order as characters do pop up in other people’s stories and you, get a great background and flow from all stories, also the stories aren’t overly long so they can all read quickly. This was a good one, as how far would you go to get to the truth? Would you risk the life of those you love, to find it? This will have you asking that question. This series has been great overall.

This is a cute story that any older child/young adult would enjoy. I found it to have a creative plot that kept us reading. The child I read it with loved the building of the monster in the basement. He was engaged from beginning to end. This is about Monty who has once again moved, which means a new school, new friends and of course new bullies. He builds himself a friend but what if he has to undo his friend when he is suspected of eating children? I highly recommend reading this book.

The story Monty and the Monster by Rhonda Smiley is an enjoyable book to read. It is a story that is well written and does a wonderful job in presenting a storyline and characters that are entertaining to read about. It is a book that young adults would enjoy. Read this book to find out the full story of what happens in the life of Monty and his creation. Monty is a character that can easily be identified with. He feels that he is not understood and is an outcast. He is dealing with a new school, bullies, and feeling misunderstood. There are funny and humorous moments as well as ones that made me feel sad. There are additional characters that are introduced and interact with Monty that are enjoyable to read about as well. This is a story that teaches its readers about friendship, love, and acceptance.

So….this book..was difficult to like for the first half. I got frustrated at Toby. Always evading answers and he just seemed too happy. That frustrated and confused me. I struggled because the scenes flitted from one to the other and again…Toby is acting weird. I wonder if this could have been a little written differently to make it more palatable to the reader. But if surprise, wonder, confusion and suspense is what the author is going for…nailed it! So along comes the second half and i was pleasantly surprised and shocked a bit. This easily kept my interest and i wanted to know more about what was happening This half gave me what I was missing…answers.

This is a first time author for me. I struggled with the first half because i felt it was jumbled and that frustrated me. The second half outshined the first. I never suspected a thing even though I was racking my brain trying to figure it all out. The characters were done very well. I enjoyed them and their time together. Overall it’s a nice story.

A great read about a story. Elizabeth “Liz” Addison is a journalist who is never scared off a story. She is tasked with investigating into Catherine Rodham, an ordinary empath and head of the Paranormal Talent Agency. But there seems to be more to the story as events unravel and Liz finds her life threatened by a mysterious force. Can she and her friends find the truth before it’s too late?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Liz confident but scared underneath or Tony as funny but kind underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the sarcastic Mia or Catherine unsure of herself.
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the cafe with its homely feel with the booths and soft chairs wonderfully written. Or the vivid colours with the scenes with Rowan and the mist and lightning with sounds and smells so strong its as if you’re actually there. Or the church chapel later on with its dark and empty interior for that sense of unease wonderfully written.
A great example of world building with fantatsical beings living alongside humanity with their own rules and laws and societies. I also liked the use of Rowan as something new to the fantays genre, fresh and exciting and dangerous. I also liked the use of Liz as a main character, giving her a chance to shine instead of just being in the background with her own drive and fears. I also liked the feel of the series coming to a close, bringing all characters together and tying up loose ends wonderfully done. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

The Season Finale (Paranormal Talent Agency Book 6) by Heather Silvio is the last in the of the paranormal stories to this series. Heather did not disappoint in the end, the level of thrills and mystery kept the pages turning. This is a quick read and feels even quicker as you race to the finish to see how it ends.

Liz has been given the task to find out just who the owner of the Paranormal Talent Agency is and as we know she is not one to back down from getting the story no matter that her life could be forfeit in 3 days. In the gangs usual fashion they learn and discover more about themselves as they venture on the task of finding the truth and maybe a little passion along the way.

I nice ending to a fun series.

This is episode 6 in the Paranormal Talent Agency series. It follows the story of the news reporter Elizabeth Addison.

In the other books Elizabeth has helped expose the supernatural underworld, defeat a murderous djinn and made friends with a group of people who all have something special about them.

In this story Elizabeth’s life is in danger when she refuses to back off investigating her friend Catherine’s true gifts.
So the team embark on an adventure to save her from a ghost from the future, and along the way Elizabeth meets her “mate”.

This book was really good. I really love all the characters and the relationships they have with each other. I couldnt put it down once i started
