What if you were the Angel of Death, collecting the souls of the recently departed- only to fall in love with one of the souls you were meant to be harvesting? Well this is exactly the dilemma faced by Angel of Death, Sky, when he meets and falls for Caleb- only to then find out that he’s the soul Sky is meant to be taking. He has a decision to make- one that will have far reaching consequences. What will he choose? What does fate have in store for these two? Is there any possibility of a future together? Will love win out in the end?
Lavender Fields by Natalina Reis is a little darker, more thrilling, and more intense than I had been expecting. This really made my reading experience even better than I had been expecting. There is suspense, drama, danger, violence, action, and a wonderful M/M romance.
I have read most of Ms. Reis’ books now, and loved them all- but this one is definitely one of my firm favourites!
I loved every word of this fantastic story, and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Reis has in store for us in her next book!
