Running In Snow: A Holiday Novella by Renee Regent is a super quick read and is made up of two short stories in which are set around Christmas and New Years. I found myself lost in the pages and truly enjoyed both stories and was wishing they were longer. In the first story Noelle’s Promise we have Noelle she hates the holidays but has promised her boyfriend and lilly his daughter that she will spend the Holiday them. She makes it through the party until a family member gets loud which brings back memories from her childhood. What does the future hold for Noelle? In the second story Eve’s Hope. Eve doesn’t like the holiday either and New Year’s eve is no exception. But when her heat goes out she accepts her neighbors invite over to his party.
