I have really been enjoying the Gray Ghost novels from Amy McKinley, and this book number five, did not fall short one bit. I really enjoyed these two main characters and quickly fell in love with them, finding myself cheering them on until the very end of the novel. I have had the privilege of reading the books from the beginning and in order but I don’t think it is absolutely necessary to enjoy this book to do so yourself. Just an added bonus.
In Covert Threat we are brought the story of Jules Moretti and Trev Shaw. These two have an undeniable chemistry and Trev knows it. He also is tasked with keeping her safe from a dangerous threat. Will he be able to keep her from harm and win her heart all at once? These two will have you reading well past your bedtime to find out. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book whenever that is!

Rebound is the fourth book in the Rewind series. Even though you can pick up on what is going on in this book pretty easily, I’d recommend reading the previous books in order to get a better feel for all of the characters.
I absolutely loved every one of the Rewind books. I’ve been waiting for Noah’s story since he was first mentioned in the series. Rebound has a bit of a different feel than the previous three books, but it was still excellent. I enjoyed the polyamorous aspect of the characters. I also liked the portrayal of Charlotte’s self-realization. I think it is important to show the concerns that come up when you are finding out new things about your self-identity. It was very well done in this story.
I highly recommend the Rewind series. I’ll probably binge read them all again soon!
These two have a lot of learning to do. Compromise is the platform of marriage. Each of them is so stubborn. I could see the changes in Zane since he started as a player. Shannon I struggled with her growth. She had small steps. Her family or more accurately her brothers….they are definite future books! Protective, annoying and they just seemed to be sexy men. I also loved the tie in to Taming Jake (Book 1).
My only small issue was the child. He seemed nonexistent. I don’t think a woman (with child) would consider marrying a man without making sure they all formed a good relationship (including the child). I’m pretty sure all three had never been in the same room until the end. So that’s my bump in the road. The author did a nice job smoothing the situation over and it glossed up nicely.
Overall this is a good story. It rolls along nicely and has some surprising elements. The emotion between the characters is felt. There is also some humor that adds charm to the book.

5 Star Broken by Love (The Full Circle Series) by MJ Masucci is my first read by this Author and definitely not my last. I can honestly say there were parts of this story that drew me in and I had a hard time putting it down, then there was some moments where I found myself angry at the situation and what she was going through. Lexi is a woman who is very smart and intelligent and there’s a fiancé Noah, but her life is about to become complicated because her new boss is also her ex. What happens when secrets are revealed? What does her future look like? Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Covert Threat is the fifth book in the Gray Ghosts series by Amy McKinley- and what a gripping instalment this has been. Sometimes in a series, by the fifth book things are getting a bit stale and starting to peter out as the momentum is slowing down, and the story is much the same as the previous book- BUT this is definitely NOT the case here. This series just seems to get better and better the further into it we get. This book is just as gripping, if not more than the other four books in the series. And that can be attributed to Ms. McKinley’s keen imagination and writing skills. While this could be read as a standalone, I really recommend reading the rest of the series too- in order to get all the backstories for the recurring characters, background information, and other important details- which will really enhance your reading experience of this book. Not to mention the other books are superb stories in their own rights! You really can’t go wrong with Ms. McKinley! This story has so much going on in it- right from the beginning I was drawn into the action, completely under Ms. McKinley’s spell. Jules and Trev had me following along right beside them as everything unfolded, captivated by this romantic suspense. As expected the story has plenty of action, drama, violence, suspense, mystery, twists, intrigue, danger, gripping details, and emotion. As with the rest of the series, I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through, devouring the pages to discover what was happening, and loving every minute. Bring on Book Six!!!!

The Runaround: A Single Dad Romantic Comedy (Carolina Connections Book 6) by Sylvie Stewart. From page one I knew I was going to love this book. Jax and Ari are characters I won’t be forgetting any time soon, I was drawn into their story immediately. Each one has life throwing them for a curve but they handle it as well as they can. I definitely had times where I was laughing out loud and times when I was a bit more emotional with their story. It’s a well written story, paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. If you’re looking for a great story with characters you can connect with I highly recommend this story. Five stars all the way.

Ink’s Devil: Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter Book 5 By Manda Mellett ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ Intense Romantic Suspense For those over 18 and want an edge of your seat suspenseful romance.
This is Ink and Beth’s story. It was about time someone as tall as Beth liked her. Over six foot tall and she was determined to find romance. Someone as tall or taller would suit her just fine. Well at Mel’s wedding it happened, or did it? Ink was a one time man. Never wanting an old lady, loved coming and going as he pleased. Always riding on the right side of the law. He has been arrested, was she worth it?
Manda Mellett has done it again! This is the 5th book in her Satan’s Devils series. Each one better than the last. This is a non stop read fest. As you will not want to put it down. Manda Mellett has written this story! Her characters are just perfect and lovable. I have come to love each and everyone. Be sure to read this series in order. I am so glad I recently found this author! I am absolutely loving the Satan’s Devils MC series! I honestly feel like I’m a part of their MC family and I’m still getting to know all the characters! This story has so much everything!!!! Ink and Beth are just irresistible!
Ink is not and never will be a one woman type of guy. Beth isn’t the type to sleep around but when she see’s Ink, she wants him. One night only. She can do this. Accept what Ink’s willing to offer and have a great memory of a one night stand. Neither of them expected the undeniable connection found in that one chance encounter. When Ink is arrested for a crime he didn’t commit and Beth is the one who should be in jail, what is going to happen with their connection? What will the MC do?
This story gives you a bit of everything. Love, lust, friendship, family, mystery, suspense, and absolutely ALL the feels, and ALL the hot and sexy bits we all love in a great MC romance! If you love a great, well-written, MC romance then you need to read this series! 5 stars!

This author has done it again! She has the sassy, snarky, fun loving characters down to a T. This is one of my favorite series. I love these characters. I thought I had this book figured out but then a 14 yo dropped in and woosh….everything changed. Great Story!
There is an array of funny fast talking scenes. My favorite is the fortune telling texts between Ari and Jax. I also have many passages highlighted. Words of wisdom and other amazing thoughts by the characters.
I loved seeing all the characters from this series. They still make me laugh with their antics. It’s always a good time reading one of these.

Ink’s Devil: Satan’s Devils MC is the fifth book in Manda Mellett’s Colorado Chapter series! I have been waiting for it since the conclusion of Devil’s Dilemma where we met Beth for the first time! I guess you could read it as a standalone as the writer is great at peppering the background through her stories to the extent it fits but I would still recommend you to take it one by one and in order! When I first met Beth in Devil’s Dilemma I was not sure if I would really like her. I had been curious about Ink for ever so I was happy to see he was getting his own story but Beth, I was not so sure … and then came Melissa and Pyro’s wedding and the rest was history! It keeps blowing my mind how the Satan’s Devils keep getting themselves mixed up in business that is not theirs … well, the ride that they take us on though leaves you breathless! I warn you that it might take you a bit to lose yourself in the story but if you stick with it then you fall so deep so that once you finish you feel like a fish on a dry land! I love how the writer has created this universe of Satan’s Devils with a spin-off and I have heard rumours that there will be other spin-offs as there are quite a few chapters so do not fear, there will always be another Devil’s story around the corner to feed our MC craving!

Rebound is the fourth book in the Rewind series by Rowan Shaw. Even thou Rebound can be read as a standalone, I would highly suggest reading every book due to the interconnected characters. This story might be my favorite not only for the hot and oh so steamy bedroom scenes but for the exploring of these relationships.
Rowan Shaw is becoming a go-to author for me in the LGBTQ romance community. I know the subject of Polyamorous Bisexual Romance is either a hit or miss with some readers, but this reader loves learning about how love can be between anyone who is open to love in any variety.
I can’t wait to see if we get more books in this series or what Rowan will write about next.
Beth sees Ink at her friend’s wedding and, with some liquid courage and help from her friend, musters up the courage to go after what she wants…a night with the biker. Ink is a member of the Satan’s Devils MC. He agrees to one night with Beth since he is not the type to go back for seconds when it comes to a civilian. They share a night of hot (and I mean super hot!) sex and both go their own ways before the sun comes up the next morning. A party back at the MC brings them face-to-face once again, and the sparks are still there…and they decide to see where things might go.
Before they get the chance to really get to know each other, Beth’s brother comes along and puts into motion a series of events that will change their lives forever. There are drugs, people going to jail, beatings and death, and a rollercoaster of emotions that is quite dizzying. At the end of it all, Ink and Beth must come to terms with what they each want for the future.
Their journey, as well as those of the supporting characters, made it impossible for me to put the book down. I needed to know where the story was going because I was constantly surprised at the twists and turns along the way. I found myself rooting for all the characters to get what they deserved (and sometimes it wasn’t always nice!). I will definitely be looking at previous stories in this series and reading them because I want to know the stories behind all the characters!

These books are an excellent read. I love reading about Jake and Cody and all the action that goes with along with them. These books are gripping, thrilling, and are really hard to put down. I was hooked from book one. The author does an amazing job keeping you entertained throughout each story and keeping you guessing what is going to happen next. These are well written books that you don’t want to miss out on. I highly recommend this series.

Broken By Love by MJ Masucci is a story of a woman caught between her past and her present. I was intrigued by the story from the moment I read about this book and knew it was one I had to try. I hadn’t read anything by this author before so didn’t know what to expect when I turned the first pages. I did struggle to connect with the characters a little bit throughout this story. I couldn’t quite work out who I thought was best for her – if any of them – and it made it a little hard to engage with them. The story was pretty good though and had so redeeming qualities about it. Although there we aspects of it I found rushed I thought the author did ok overall good job on the story line. It certainly kept me turning the pages. I would definitely give this book another go and I will definitely look into more work by this author.

Number 5 in this series and it just continues to get better and better! Ink’s story was amazing and (yeah I know I say it every time) it has to be my favourite so far! I was emotional the whole way through! Beth is probably the biggest surprise character for me! I loved her! I loved watching her grow as the story evolved and she was definitely not what I was expecting at all considering I met her previously! It’s quite possible that Ink has stolen my heart and taken it with him! I absolutely LOVED him!! I was utterly captivated by this story, the twists and turns made it for one rollercoaster of a read and I was 100% rooting for these two the whole way through. I’m going to be honest after Ink and Beth’s first encounter I knew it could never be just one night! The chemistry between them was so intense I was hoping it would fire up to become more! This book could be read as a standalone but I cannot recommend this series enough! Each MC member has a story to tell and believe me they are well worth reading about! I can’t wait for the next one!!

Ink’s Devil is the fifth novel in the Colorado Chapter series by Manda Mellett. This is my fifth novel by this author.
Ink is part of Satan’s Devils and enjoys his single status, not wanting a relationship. Soon, he meets Beth, who understands that type of guy Ink is, not wanting to fall for him. When he goes to jail in her place, is there a chance their relationship is going a different direction? 30 year sentence is along time.
Beth gets pulled into the biker underworld because of her brother. And knows it should be her in the jail cell instead of Ink. I just really enjoyed what tied them together and the progression from there. This is my favorite in the series so far.
I really love this series and look forward to new installment. This volume is the relationship between Ink and Beth. Ink is an unusual name for a protagonist but it fits him really well. Beth is a name I’ve seen before, but I haven’t met a character with blue hair very often.
I really enjoyed the suspense and unknown in this novel and I can’t wait for the next one.

Ink’s Devil (Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #5) by Manda Mellett
4-Stars
Ink’s Devil (Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #5) by Manda Mellett is another great addition to this series. I love how Mellett’s creativity shines through her work. Each character in this novel has a back story. I loved the two main characters of this book. They were developed well, realistic, and relatable. I love how she also explains this bits about the motorcycle club and how it works. This book starts where its predecessor ends in a way but can be read as a standalone. I also really love the cover art of this novel.

I’m a huge fan of Manda Mellett and This is one of my favorite biker series I’ve read! This book is probably the best in the series so far! The story completely blew me away! I love how Beth is completely shy but she hides that part of herself with this confidence persona. She is completely enraptured with Ink. Ink isn’t looking for anything long term and most certainly not an old lady. The chemistry between Beth and Ink sizzle of the pages. Manda Mellett definitely sent on one dollar coaster ride with this story! I cannot wait for more.

Ink’s Devil is the fifth book in Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils: Colorado Chapter series. It begins at Pyro and Mel’s wedding, picking up where the previous book left off. The book then follows Beth, Mel’s best friend, and Ink, one of the bikers, as they realise that their post-wedding one-night-stand has left them both wanting more. For me, this story got off to a slow start. I wasn’t really hooked and was struggling to get through it. Then things kicked off and I couldn’t put it down! Ink and Beth’s relationship is just starting to take shape when an unexpected phone call in the middle of the night sets off a chain of events that turns everything upside down. It’s tense and dramatic and there’s mystery and action and all the while you’re left wondering if Ink will ever get to teach Beth to ride a bike. What I particularly like about this series is how we get to see all the characters we’ve fallen in love with in previous books. It’s good to know there’s something beyond just a simple HEA – they’re still together, still figuring things out, while other stories take centre stage. It’s also fun guessing who will get to be in the spotlight next. In this one, Dirt and Nails were my favourite minor background characters so I’m really hoping they get their own book soon! For me, this is a four star book. It’s a fun series, and this one had me on the edge of my seat at times! If you’re new to the series, good entry points would either be the start of the main Satan’s Devil’s series or the first book in the Colorado Chapter. You can dive in anywhere, but it’s nice to get to know the characters!

The Rise of House of Valdis by Naomi Valkyrie a five-star read that will rise above. This is the first novel in the House of Valdis series, and I can’t wait for more. This was a great story and so well written that I was surprised to discover that it was a debut novel. The story unfolds and is told from multiple points of view and this is great as it gives you a greater background to the story, a greater perspective to get more of the story. There are a couple of small parts that I was a little lost at, but when I realised it was a debut that made it clear then how this was, I just re-read a couple of paragraphs and it made more sense. The characters are unique and interesting and they have a great depth to them, I am so excited to get my hands on number two.

A Sun so Bright by KG Fletcher a five-star read that will set your heart aflame. This is number three in the Reigning Hearts series and they can be read as stand-alone, I will admit I have read them in order and loved them all, I was worried about this one as Fiona was someone we met previously and I didn’t like her then. I am so glad I didn’t let that put me off as awwww I had a total change of heart about her, it just goes to show that love can make you see life differently. This was a great fake boyfriend story and I have read a few and was getting a little overdone but KG Fletcher has done it well, they have done it real well. Chris was a great character and one who built and developed more than just an old property.

Mountains Wanted was a great book! Very good storyline mixed with some very steamy scenes, and you feel like you’re living Sarah’s life right alongside her. With such a beautiful writing style, Phoebe Alexander knows how to produce a beautiful story! With a couple twists I wasn’t personally expecting, I could hardly put the book down at some parts. I really enjoyed this book, and I can’t wait to read the next installment and more books from Alexander herself!

Rebound by Rowan Shaw a feisty four-star read. This is number four in the Rewind series and it can be read a stand-alone, but I have read it as a series and enjoyed it as so, if you don’t want to read the whole series then it is advised that you read Return first as you may miss important details if you don’t. This is an interesting and challenging story and Noah has a journey to go on through this story and what a story it is, this is an emotional, gripping story and one you need to read.

Ink’s Devil: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #5 by Manda Mellett
5 out of 5 stars
Ink’s Devil is the fifth book in the Satan’s Devil MC Colorado Chapter. I have read quite a few books by Ms. Mellett and I have loved them from the beginning her books just get better and better. The characters are strong and well written. The plot was awesome we even get to see the other couples that we met in the first few books.
Ink his normal practice, he’d give her one night, but that’s all. Except, he found, it wasn’t enough when he met an almost as tall girl with blue hair intrigues him. He should have kept to his own rules, but he didn’t. He went back. It’s not forever, She’s not for me, she’s a citizen and not someone to be pulled into our underworld. Except as I found out, I didn’t need to pull her in, she was already there.
Now he is sitting in jail when it should be her but as he sits there this is when he realizes Beth is his Old lady.
Beth as soon as she saw Ink she wanted him While she knew there was no future with the biker and herself, she was sure she could guard her heart and not fall for him. Her life was normal and uncomplicated. Until her estranged brother dumped her in a middle of a mess, a fiasco which ended up with Ink taking the rap. Will the Satan’s Devils find out the truth about Beth and her brother? Will Ink be-able to get out of Jail? Will the Satan Devils be able to save Beth? You will have to read this awesome book to find out…. I highly recommend this book/series Tracy @tracym

This is a sci-fi/fantasy in which there are multiple storylines following different characters in different universes, realities and timelines. Each is very different and draws on various ancient mythologies which I really enjoyed. Although confusing to follow, I appreciated having to engage more with the story. I also liked the world-building, which was extremely complex, although it was at times more descriptive and wordy than immersive. The ending was definitely action-packed, and the weaving of the story becomes clear in the way the end is tied up but leaves you wanting more.

Never Date A Siren: A College Fae Magic Series #1 by Byrd Nash is a wonderful Young Adult fantasy and my first read from this talented storyteller. I love a good fantasy, so the title intrigued me as soon as I saw it. It is full of paranormal beings, college life, humour, a little drama, debts, bonds, challenges, honour, lessons, magic- and is a light-hearted and charming coming of age story. By a twist of fate, Logan and Brigit become roommates. Brigit is a Fae (Dryad), and Logan a human exchange student attending the Fae university- one where both human and fae are allowed to enrol. Though not at the academy long, Logan has already fallen under the fatal spell of a cold-hearted siren. His world has been turned upside down, his grades are suffering, his life and place at the University are under threat. Brigit keeps her head down and tries to stay off the radar. She’s definitely the mysterious one. But another twist of fate has her indebted to Logan, and through her strong sense of honour and the Fae Laws of Civility she sets about ensuring her debt is paid- by breaking the siren’s spell that is slowly draining Logan. And so, the adventure begins. Throw in a host of paranormal creatures/beings, different realms, sneaky tricks, secrets, lessons, wonderful characters, and an intriguing storyline- and this story really takes off. Byrd Nash has world building down to a fine art- creating a intricate world that springs from her imagination and comes to life upon the pages. The attention to detail in the world building is just superb- from fae customs, laws, history, clothing, speech, and all the many other finer points- nothing gets overlooked here- all blending together into a smooth, seamless and vivid image. This is a fantastic way to start off a new series. I am definitely invested in the characters and I can’t wait to see what they get up to in the next book! A fun read!!!

In Other Words (Boothbay Harbor Book 1) by Pamela Q. Fernandes is a highly emotionally charged and angst-ridden romance story. It tells of one woman’s tumultuous journey into life by way of being adopted and how that shaped her. I really wanted to sit her down and straighten out her pitiful attitude, she definitely needs to take a good look at herself before getting into a relationship. Argh! Whilst I love these times tested “men don’t do a relationship” but come around at the last-minute type of stories I do get frustrated with them. This is definitely a tough and rough ride but interesting tale of longing for the one who will love you unconditionally. I was almost exhausted by the time I finished the story.
Trish was adopted but never fit in. Men loved to leave her, and she longed for love and fell into love so easily. Unfortunately, it seems love was not for her, she was unlovable.
Michael liked his life just as it is. His family where the odd ones out and they had no room for love in their lives, they were destined to be alone. So, one and done was all he would allow. He meets a beautiful yet haunted young lady who makes him want to be there for her, but he knows she will want more and that is the one thing he can’t give her.

I felt an immediate connection to these characters and found myself reading this book as quickly as I could. I found the storyline to be emotional and riveting. I just wanted to keep reading more about every character I encountered. What a lovely addition to my library. I cannot wait to read it again.
