Heart of Malice (Alice Worth Book 1) by Lisa Edmonds – Review by Kerry Carr

Heart of Malice (Alice Worth, #1)Heart of Malice by Lisa Edmonds
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a great read. Full of adventure and mystery as well as romance and magic. It has a great strong female character who is independent but not afraid to accept help.

Alice is in hiding. She has escaped from her grandfathers group where she was physically abused, tortured and made to use her magic skills for evil. After her escape she builds a life for herself as a PI.

Things are running along smoothly until her client Natalie hires her to help her locate things missing from her grandmothers house. But Natalie and this situation aren’t what they seem and when Natalie shows the signs of powers Alice has to help guide her and find the missing object.

Add to Alice’s life the Ghost Malcolm who is attached to her and helps her investigating and her new love interest in Sean the werewolf and she definately has her hands full.
