My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Spring’s Calling: A Seasons of Magic Urban Fantasy Novel by Sarah Biglow. This is not my favorite Genre but this book blew me away. I loved it. Its the story of Ezri Trenton who has become a Boston Police Detective to avenge her Mother’s death. She is the last remaining descendant in a long line of witches but she left her magical community because she felt like they didn’t do enough to solve her mother’s murder 10 years earlier. Since her mother’s death she has pushed everyone away and tried to deal with everything on her own. She is now called to a new murder scene very reminiscent of her mother’s and she is determined to catch this serial killer. Being the last descendant of the witches is her destiny so she has to reconcile her past with her present to solve these murders without letting everyone know her magical secret. This book is full of magic, suspense, laughter, love, heartbreak and sadness.I can’t wait to read the next installment.
