Deception by Victoria Saccenti. This is a great story of love, heartbreak, loyalty, and revenge. Its the story of Joe an ex marine who is angry and sad about the suicide of a teammate. He completed suicide after a letter he received from home. Joe is determined to make the writer of the letter pay. One night when he’s in a bar with some friends he meets Hunter and finds out she is the author of the letter. He has a plan in his mind and now he has the opportunity to pull it off. Hunter is strong and intelligent but has had a lot of diversity in her life. When she meets Joe she is drawn to him and doesn’t really want to be. She can’t help herself. What will happen when Joe’s plan of deception is found out by Hunter. Will he get revenge for his fellow solider or will he lost Hunter forever? Does he care if he loses Hunter?
