Rose by any Other Name (The Sisters, Texas Mystery Series #10) by Becki Willis

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. This can be read as a stand alone although it’s part of The Sisters, Texas Mystery Series. Willis has done an amazing job by bringing these characters to life. Two separate mysteries solved by mother and son.

Madison, Momma Maddy, as the kids call her, finds herself in a bind. Her car is sabotaged by someone. She thinks she knows who it is, but when the truth comes out things change. The quote I chose for Madison is: “Believe me, I like it. I thank my lucky stars every day that I’m your wife.”

Blake, Madison’s son, finds a box while he’s working. What he finds is that a long lost lover got away. Wanting to help out the guy he is doing yard work for, he gets his sisters help. When their teacher’s mom comes to town the mystery solves itself. The quote I chose for Blake is: “I wouldn’t be surprised, if he didn’t finally put that ring on her finger. I think they’ll be married by fall.”

This is a great crime and mystery book. Highly recommended.
