Grosse Pointe by Natalie Barnes – Review by Rachel Moss
Grosse Pointe by Natalie Barnes
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Grosse Pointe by Natalie Barnes was a really good read! This is the first novel I’ve read from this author, and I wasn’t disappointed at all. This novel is set in the 1920s, and seemed to be a really good fictional novel that still portrays the history of that time period in the United States. It did take me a couple of chapters to get into the story, and get used to the Irish dialect and dialogue that is used throughout. Once I got used to it, the novel completely dragged me in, and I could hardly put it down. It was very well written with a great storyline. I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!
