Eye of Death by Alexander Charalambides
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Eye of Death is the third instalment in the Vampire State series by Alexander Charalambides. As I have mentioned before, this series really does take vampire lore and shake it up- providing a very original and intriguing vampire story.
There is so much going on, and this is so much more than I had expected- but I don’t want to give away too much and spoil it for you. I was engrossed right from the beginning- with vampires, discord, crisis, action, adventure, danger, drama, surprising developments, politics, war, a bit of a social commentary, the paranormal, and romance. There is definitely a bit of a dark dystopian feel to the story/series, which I love- and it definitely elevated my whole reading experience.
I am eagerly awaiting the next book to see where we go from here.

Thank you, Alexander Charalambides!
