Echoes--(Lucifer and the dark goddess book 1)Echoes– by Nikki Broadwell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Echoes–(Lucifer and the dark goddess book 1) by Nikki Broadwell was a good 5 star read.
I was pulled right into this different world by the author and couldn’t put it down.

At 15 Feirin finds herself alone with a necklace and a crescent moon tattoo on her forehead, she befriends a group of people who help her and teach her things. We jump ahead a few years, she now has a job and a relationship with bar owner Peyton and living in a future world out of control. She can’t remember who she is but has spurts of memories here and there. She decides to go to the police department to inquire about the night she was brought in with amnesia, not realizing it was putting a bullseye on her back. She ends up exiled with a group of people outside the wall.

Will she get her memory back? Can she lead the group to safety? Who is the mysterious man helping her?

There is so much more to this story that I don’t want to give away. I really got the Mad Max vibe and funny enough the movie is even mentioned in conversation between characters. There are so many great characters that added a great element to the story. Feirin is great, she is a very strong and determined character that can hold her own against anyone that comes at her. You will be on the edge of your seat waiting to see what is coming next. We get suspense, drama, action, paranormal and so much more. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today.
