Flipping the Bird: A Paranormal Chick Lit Novel (Shift Creek book 1) by Carrie Pulkinen. This is a fun paranormal romance. Its the story of Alice Crawford who happens to be a crow shifter who has been living the dream in her small hometown in Texas, Shift Creek. Alice is a salvage artist so when the town’s magical stream starts to dry up she loses business as does everyone else in the town. The Rainecourt Mansion has been empty for years so when good looking Donovan shows up to buy the Mansion everyone is super excited. Only problem is he is planning on draining the creek of all its magic because he has lost his and if he doesn’t do this within one month he will lose it forever. Alice and Donovan are instantly attracted to one another but they don’t realize they are each keeping secrets from each other. Will Donovan lose his magic forever.
