10 Days by KJ Holliday – Review by Kerry Carr

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a refreshing read. It is set from the perspective of the lead male which is a nice change for a story about romance. The setting of a camping expedition is also something different. The characters are well written with the lead character being  very witty and funny.

Alex Jones is an author. When he needs inspiration for his new book his friends Luke and Penny offer to help him out.
They take him on a camping expedition to show how what it’s like to get back to nature.

However Alex is a city boy. Being in the middle of nowhere, pitching tents and building fires is not his idea of fun. The only thing making it bearable is Penny.

As the 10 days progress Alex’s feelings for Penny grows but not knowing how she feels should he take the risk or keep his feelings to himself. Also how will Luke react when his feelings are shown.
