The Tears of Boabdil by Neil MacDonald – Review by Kerry Carr

The Tears of BoabdilThe Tears of Boabdil by Neil MacDonald
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was an interesting book to read. The author did a great job with the characters and the story. The only thing I found hard was the jumping from past to present and back again. With the mixture of stories the main character makes up and the actual story it gets a little bit confusing at times.

Vince is a undercover Special Branch Agent. His next job is to go undercover and infiltrate a British Jihadi group.
Going by the name of Zami he sets out to befriend two men and get accepted into the group. What he doesn’t expect is to fall for their sister.

Now Vince/Zami has a huge problem. Does he keep his commitment and do his duty for his country or does he defy all the rules and breaks everything for the love of a woman who believes he is something he isn’t?
