Red’s Tangled Tale (Book Two of the Untold Stories series) by Suzanna Lynn was a great read! So far I think this one may be my favorite of this series! It was so much darker than the first one was, with several twists I wasn’t expecting at all! I love seeing all of these classic fairy tales told in a different way, with twists and turns and all the characters becoming entwined on some way, shape or form. I can’t wait to see where Red’s and Hook’s adventures take them next in the next installment! This series is great for all ages and is quickly becoming a favorite of mine!

Daisy’s Darkness by D.M. Earl is the 6th book in the Wheels & Hogs series. To be honest, this was the first book by this author that I’ve read. I could tell there was more information to be learned about characters that showed up in this book. However, that didn’t take away from how quickly I was sucked into this story. The beginning is all about how Daisy is seeing things because we are basically reading out of her diary. Many very stressful situations and emotions are making Daisy withdrawal from life. She doesn’t know how to make things better as it is hard to do it alone. But her mental stress is making her not trust her family, immediate and extended family. I even cried at a few points in the book. You can really feel how Daisy is feeling and you want to help her so bad. I hope that this book reaches many who can learn something from it.
This is the first book in the Soul Connections series. This is a Paranormal Romance and is 390 pages. This story follows Scott, who can see ghosts, and Zelda, a ghost bride who cannot remember her life or death. Scott finds Zelda in a cemetery and she is completely lost and scared and has no idea what is going on. Scott is the only one that can see her. Scott is her only hope of helping her remember. Her blood-stained wedding dress is the only clue they have.
Sons of Sindicato is a thrilling interracial love story between a straight-edged, take no crap lawyer and the criminal, mafioso who fell in love with her. A romance, with lots of crime thrown in, and tons of suspense, which I thoroughly enjoyed reading! This novella sized story pulled me in from the very first page and kept me glued until I finished every last word. I am most definitely looking forward to other books in this series!

I am a huge fan of fairy tales and this book was just as great as the first book in the series. If you have not read book one, please read it first, it’s a must I think. Mainly because I just loved it plus it will help you better understand this story. I love how the author takes the characters that we already know and love and shows them in a different light. She gives them a back story and makes them heroes. Very exciting read filled with adventure, magic, drama, friendships and so much more! I can not wait to see what is in store in the next book in the series.

“Wolf’s Beautiful Beast” is Book #3 in the “The Untold Stories” series of “fractured” fairy tales. In Book #1, we learned how Capt. Jameson Shaw became Captain Hook; in Book #2, we learned that Red Riding Hood is NOT a victim of the Big Bad Wolf; in Book #3, we get a fantastic twist on the tale of Beauty and the Beast. We are reunited w/ Red, Rapunzel, and Lycus the white wolf shapeshifter (THE Big Bad Wolf??) from Book #2. They are on their way to Oz when they get waylaid in a land ruled by King Garrart and his Queen, Cora. They had a daughter, Arabella, who disappeared five years earlier, kidnapped by a fearsome beast whom none can gainsay, according to the king anyway. Our three heroes get thrown into prison, and Lycus is only released upon promising to rescue the long-lost princess from the fearsome beast. Lycus accompanies General Drax and his men to the abandoned, crumbling castle where Arabella is held captive, the entire place guarded by magical entwining red roses. Drax and his men leave Lycus for dead when he tumbles down the stairs into the beast’s clutches. Or does he? The twists in this “fractured” fairy tale keep coming, and it’s just a thrill ride from here on out, w/ one revelation after another setting this fairy tale on its ear. As much as I enjoyed “Red’s Tangled Tale,” this one is just an entertaining thrill ride until the end. 4.6 stars rounds up to 5 stars!

Daisy’s Darkness By D.M Earl is book #6 in the Wheels and Hogs Series. This Story pulled at my heart strings from the very start. I have two daughters who have struggled with anxiety and depression so this book really hit home for me. It brings valuable awareness to topics which are often felt to be difficult to discuss…Eating Disorders, Bullying and cutting which effect many world wide. I applaud the Author for presenting these topics in a meaningful and heartfelt way. It is mostly written from Daisys point of view with some parts from characters such as Jagger, Daisys big brother and Griffin a friend who may just end up being more some day and many more important people in Daisys life. This is a must read

Auctioned (Billionaire Bodyguards #3): Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari
This is the first book by Mari that I’ve read. I’ve got to say this book is an amazing read. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. This is the 3rd book in the Billionaire Bodyguards, but can be read as a standalone.
Damian is one of many millionaire bodyguards. He is told to find Brian’s girlfriend’s niece. She has been taken from her family and he’s to find her. Once he lays eyes on her picture he knows that she is meant to be his. The quote I chose for Damian is: “If you knew it would please me for you to stay home and let me take care of the situation this evening, would you have told me then? If you weren’t thinking of me as the man paid to protect you, but as the man that wanted desperately to safeguard you for no other reason than the fact that he has fallen head over heels in love with you, would you have stayed then?”
Bryanna has been held captive with the threat of harm coming to her family. She has always wanted someone who would take control of everything in their relationship. The quote I chose for Bryanna is: “I do trust you, but you know as well as I do that they’ll come for me.”

Suzanna Lynn has done it again the second installment to this series Red’s Tangled Tale had this reader glued to her seat and wanting more. The first installment Hook’s Little Mermaid left me instantly looking for the second installment and I wasn’t disappointed. We are first introduced to Red in Hook’s Little Mermaid, but Red’s Tangled Tale delves deep into Red’s life, where we learn vital details of what makes Red tick. Once again Suzanna Lynn gives us great character development, a painted picture in her scenery descriptions, and more action. Red’s Tangled Tale is full of everything that a fantasy reader could ask for including pirates, wolves, a troubled town and a cursed forest, and several other fascinating twists and turns. If your looking for a great fantasy series then I highly recommend this series and specifically Red’s Tangled Tale by miss Suzanna Lynn.

This is a fun, clean YA read that I would recommend to any 8th grader and up.
The author pulls you in right away with her very likable, relatable characters, and the imaginative world of the Jinn realm. You are drawn into the life of Liam and his uncanny ability to constantly get hurt. She keeps you reading to find out why everything is happening. The unexpected twists surprise you too! Who can he trust? Who is telling him the truth?
I truly hope that she writes more about this world and continues the story of Liam and Kenna!

This is a very cute and adorable children’s book about a dog and his friend. I personally loved the rhymes that went along with the cute illustrations. I found this to be a relatable book and Jake to be a very relatable character. I think that this would be a wonderful book to share with you child who is going off to daycare, kindergarten, or camp for the first time in their lives. There are so many animals pictured and incorporated into the story that I think any child will love it, but especially those that love animals. I don’t have any kids of my own to read the story to, but I would think that with the eye-popping illustrations and strong message that are given it should be a book on all kid’s bookshelves.

I have never read any books by this author as romantic suspense isn’t a genre I usually read. I was recommended this book by a friend that had read it, so I decided to give it a try. I must say that I was very impressed. Apparently this is part of a series by this author but each one is a stand-alone book so it’s not like a typical series where you are lost when you start reading. That I loved. She pulled me into the book almost immediately. I found that the characters were very relatable and realistic. I was able to stay engaged in the story thanks to the action taking place and the authors description that made me sense that I was watching this story firsthand. This is a fast-paced story line and not only was I turning the pages quickly, but I was on the edge of my seat during some parts. I was so intrigued that I plan to pick up the first two books in the series that I missed. This is an author I will keep my eyes on for more to come.

Scorching Hot Mess by Brooke May is an entertaining story about a woman on a mission to find her match. This whole book has such a fun feel to it and I thought that Willow was such an entertaining character. Her and her friend combined really made me chuckle. I enjoyed reading about her and Gun. They seemed to have such a connection from the start that just felt real and engaging. It made you want to read more about them. This isn’t the first book that I have read by this author and I like the fact that I always know I am going to get a well written story when I read one of her books. This was a great read and one I thoroughly enjoyed.

Daisy’s Darkness is the sixth book in the Wheels and Hogs series by D. M. Earl. I am yet to read the other books in the series, but this can be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel.
This book is an emotional rollercoaster. My heart broke for Daisy, you will definitely need a box of tissues next to you when reading this. This story covers many topics that could be triggering for some people, so I would recommend thoroughly reading the book description before diving in.
The story is beautifully written. For most of it the book is written from Daisy’s perspective, but the author also gives you glimpses from other characters which I think helped to balance the story. I’m looking forward to going back and reading the previous books in the series.
I enjoyed this book. It is the 3rd book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. Even though the characters are linked in previous books but they are so well written that they can be read as a standalone. The characters are well evolved that you feel like you are living in their lives. This story contains everything i love danger, steamy romance and an attraction that should not be.
Bryanna has been caught in a trafficking ring. The captors have someone on her that means she can’t leave them. Even when she is rescued by Damian.
Damian has been sent to rescue her my his employer Jenny. He knows it’s going to be a challenge but what he doesn’t know and realise is that the attraction between him and his assignment would be so strong. Can Damian save Bryanna from the captors? Will Bryanna trust him enough to allow herself to be rescued? Can the attraction between them become something more or is this just got to be strictly business?

This fantasy read is different than any I’ve read before! I really love how the author describes everything in detail so its like being there. Liam endures so much in this story and still keeps a good heart. There were so many twist and turns that I was not expecting that kept me wanting to read more. I definitely recommend Granted to anyone that’s looking for a good fantasy read!

This book contains graphic descriptions of experiences which could be emotional triggers, read with caution.
Daisy in a teenager with a loving family and a circle of friends she is close to, but she is also being bullied by a group of girls and it is made even worse when her older brother starts to date on of them over the summer holidays, when school starts again, she is struggling with everything and because of all this stress, lack of feeling safe, feeling like she has no control of her life and the mountain of school work she has to do for her advanced classes, she is spiralling and she can’t seem to reach out, no matter how hard she tries, she believes that only she can deal with her demons, alone.
When she returns from her winter school break, she is trying to regain some control, she is restricting her food intake to keep the weight loss going which she started over summer, she is also trying different things to release the thoughts, stresses and demons in her head, but as she prepares for the first day back, she knows that it is going to be hell and that the bullies are just going to get worse. The one thing she is looking forward to is seeing her friends, her queens, although she still feels alone despite all of the people she has around her, however, her worst fears come to pass when she is intentionally hurt by the bullies who blame her for her brother breaking up with one of them, as she is held down, she is in pain, but there is nothing she can do about it and she knows that if she tells someone about what really happened, it will only get worse for her. Eventually she has to go to the hospital, the injuries she sustained are so bad she passes out and wakes up there with no idea how ill she has been, but she still cannot open up to her parents.
As Daisy continues to spiral, she begins to hurt herself more and more, her parents and brother are worried about her as they don’t know what’s going on, she keeps everything to herself and just clams up when they ask her about it all, she knows she is doing things which are especially risky and that hiding them isn’t helping, but she can’t stop herself. She feels so alone and disconnected from everyone and everything that she can’t see what is happening around her, but it is when someone finds what she is doing when she is caught in the act that things finally come to a head.
Will Daisy be able to reach out to those around her to help her to battle her inner demons, or will she continue in this downward spiral and become even more of a danger to herself than she already is? This book is dark, yet enlightening and makes you think as you look through the eyes of a troubled girl and those around her, it is not for the faint of heart and it is not an easy read, but it is well worth the time you take to go along Daisy’s journey with her.
Forged by Secrets is the 3rd book in the Deadly Isles Special Ops series by Amy McKinley. I have been a fan of Amy McKinley for a long time now and have loved the first two books in this series and was looking forward to the third Hale brother, Tyler getting his book. And what a book he got! This is a fantastic book. I need to say that when you think you have things worked out about how a book is going to go then you can be sure that Amy McKinley is going to do something different. There’s one particular part in this book that had me with my jaw hanging to the floor. Nope. I’m not giving any spoilers. You’ll have to read it to find out what I mean. I absolutely loved Tyler and Malina’s story. Tyler is now a Navy SEAL and Malina is an analyst who works with the Navy SEALs. Previously they had gone to high school together and Malina had a huge crush on Tyler but she knows he’s not relationship material so tries to keep away from him. As always with Amy McKinley there is so much more than the romance going on in this book. She writes amazing storylines that have you hooked from the very first chapter, right up to the very last and Forged By Secrets is no different to the rest. I loved the whole storyline of this book. If you’ve never read Amy McKinley or you’re just thinking about trying this book then I urge you to give it a try. It’s well worth it.

Bryanna is in a bit of a predicament. She wants her safety but her captors are holding something dear over her head. Thankfully, her aunt is aware she has been taken and has the best searching for her. Damian is the best but he didn’t expect these feelings for Bryanna. He especially didn’t expect Bryanna to run back to her captors to keep what is over her head safe. His job is to get her and what she holds dear to safety and to put her captors where they belong. Opinion This is an excellent book. Damian is a total alpha male and Bryanna is new to submission. There is not a lot of sex in it but you get to see a dom introduce his sub to his likes. Damian does explain the difference between what she’s read on the internet and what he likes and that they are not always the same. The story itself is also good. Knowing what she is trying to keep safe, the reader can empathize with her and see why she kept running back. This book is part of a series and I have not read any other parts of it. I was able to wade through perfectly fine. I think, though, that I would have enjoyed it more had I read the series up to this point.

This new to me author is definitely a great discovery! A book where the main character swears off men is always a good recipe for drama. It is the perfect chick-lit book to kick back, relax and enjoy a good book. I can totally relate to her wanting to swear sweats and write books. If only life was that easy. I will definitely be reading more by this author

Red’s Untangled Tale is a fantastic story about Little Red Riding Hood. Rosalee or Rose has a hard life in her village. She takes good care of her Gran and many of the villagers. The story takes a fun turn when Red meets Rapunzel. Suzanna Lynn does another masterful job of bringing in elements of several children’s stories. I enjoyed this retelling and cannot wait to read the next story in the series.

Sigh what I wouldn’t give to date Heath…… This was such a sweet Romance, the last couple of books I’ve read were a bit on the heavy side, so this was a nice change of pace. I could really relate with Marlowe’s character and the sweet dynamic between Marlow and Heath was super awesome read. The secondary characters brought something extra to the storyline that to it to a whole new level.

Hook’s Little Mermaid is a fun retelling of the story of Captain Hook. The story had many characters and elements of several children’s stories. Suzanna Lynn wove them together in a fun and unique way that made it a fresh new story. I found myself cheering for Captain Hook and loving him. I was surprised when I found myself cheering against Peter Pan. This is a whimsical and fun book to read and quite enjoyable.

I have a serious crush on all three of the Hale Brothers, but I think Tyler has been my favorite from the beginning. After reading this book it solidified Tyler as number one.
Malina has so much from her past that I never would have expected. She has lots of secrets from her past that nobody knows, even her childhood best friend.
Tyler is the ultimate protector and he proves it. He is a Navy SEAL who will protect his Country and those important to him.
There are so many things to say, but not sure where to start and don’t want risk giving anything away.
If you haven’t read anything by her I highly recommend anything she has written. I have read several of her books and there is a connection between this series and the Grey Ghost series but can be read as a standalone.

Loved it!!!!!! This book was absolutely adorable, I love the feel of innocence to it as it follows two of the main characters and their developing love story. The book follows a girl who doesn’t believe in love or that good men truly exist, until she meets the one man that changes her perspective, even better its one of the most unlikely of guys. Mixed with a little bit of comedy this Rom Com is definitely chick lit ( lol chick flick but book style).

Twisted Throttle by Manda Mellett a five-star read that will twist you in all the right ways. This is number three in the Satan’s Devils MC second generation series and it can be read as stand-alone, but I have read them all and love the world building, the little hints you pick up on and the backstories. Throttle was not what I was expecting, I really didn’t like him at first but soon I started to change my tune. Gwen was such a strong character, and this story will hook you. I really enjoyed the spin of the story; it wasn’t the way you normally see it and that was so well done. As always great writing from this author and I am so excited to see where we will go next.
