My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Spiteful Punks starts with a bang and keeps on going! Certainly lives up to the label of dark/bully romance. Shorter read that leaves you wanting more. Ends on a cliffhanger.

Trigger warning: rape, suicidal contemplation, sexual assault, drug use, abuse, death, torture, and general demeaning of women.

With the first chapter being so graphic and gut wrenching I wasn’t sure about Spiteful Punks, but I ended up really enjoying the story. Readers see Tillie’s world torn apart but she continues to fight to live her life her way. Fleeing from her bad familial situation and the M.C. life, to someone who’s supposed to be a lifeline, she is again thrust into danger and people who want to rule her, but she knows how to survive and starts to turn the tables.
There is so much dark sexual angst between Tillie and the four young men: Logan, Dalton, Tey, and Nicky. Each of them is so dark in their own way, and each sets off something inside her that yearns for them, allowing for her sexual awakening despite her past. Logan, Dalton, Tey and Nicky each desire Tillie, but is it just insta-lust? Can they actually care for someone outside of their group, with the baggage each of them carries?
Mention of M/M interest, potential for crossing swords in further books.
Ends on a major cliffhanger, but I can’t wait for book 2 to see what Tillie has in store for the boys, and they for her.
Spiteful punks touches many dark romance subtopics including New Adult, Motorcycle Club, Gang, Corrupt Police, and High School Bully.
