One of my favorite genres is crime/mystery, and this book delivers. This is the fourth book in the series. I highly recommend the first three books as well. W. F. Ranew is a mastermind whose plotline is engaging and the characters really have brought this book to life. There were several twists and turns that kept me turning the pages. His characters are fully developed and complex in nature. Pt. Farlow is back and has found more than he had bargained. He went to a meeting and the chairman was there but he had a knife stuck in his bag. He knew he needed to act fast to find out what happened. That is when it led to more than he had realized. Will Pt. Farlow solve these murders? What else did he find out what was happening? I highly recommend reading this book to see how Pt. Farlow investigation finishes.

This is the first book I have read from these two authors. I love a good mafia romance but they exceeded all my expectations. These two authors did an amazing job with their writing. I could not tell that there were two authors to this book. This is the first book of the sons of Sindicato series and wow what a perfect way to start a series. I could not put this book down until the end. It only took me a few hours to devour this addictive book.

The Devoted Fan by Pamela DuMond writing as P.S. DuMond is the fifth book in the 21st Century Courtesan book series. I will start by recommending that you should read the books in order. The series builds throughout the books and with this being the last book you need the context. The story helps conclude the series that includes twists, turns, suspense, and romance. I have enjoyed seeing the character Evie has evolved throughout the series. There is a lot going on but I am not going to spoil the story for you. Just know that if you doubt that karma exists you will not after reading this book. I have enjoyed this series and will be looking for other books by this author to read soon.

Cat Anderson, an unlikely 14 year old, has the adventure of a lifetime on the day before school starts. Having grown up with a mom who doesn’t cook, she tries a new homemade good and meets a new boy. This story will take on a funny tale through the adventures of family drama, teen angst, and delicious recipes. Cat, Robyn and their friends may have you rolling in the aisles as you read this funny tale. It makes you think back to your junior high days of cafeteria lunches and changing classes. It was nice to see the multicultural feel to it and I look forward to trying the recipes.

It was almost ironic to read a book about a world during a deadly virus outbreak whilst we are currently in the grip of a global pandemic due to a deadly virus outbreak. When a water borne virus begins to kill people in the thousands all across the world, Cam is one of 300 hundred people chosen to live in a dome covered colony on an island in the hope to preserve human life on the planet. I saw many similarities in this book such as sustainability, community living. etc that are buzzwords at the moment of how we can have a more secure future on earth. I found this book interesting and the premise is good. The characters were well thought out. However, I did find the lengthy descriptions hard to keep up with at times and almost got a bit lost with the actual plot.
This is an Adventure novel and is 585 pages. This story follows Anna as she treks across Vienna, Paris, and Berlin to uncover a mystery that goes back to WWII. Her quest throws her right smack in the middle of a political conspiracy and she becomes the target. She now needs to find out the truth to stay alive. Will she be able to put the family secret to rest? This book has a little bit of everything, and you will not be able to put it down.

Blue Summer Part One by Everly Taylor is a fast paced story and exciting. I found it to be a pretty quick read because I got straight into it. I read it all in one sitting because I had to know what was going to happen. I enjoyed the overall storyline of the book. The idea was good and well thought out. The characters really added to this – especially Lillie. I found her to be engaging and likeable right from the start. This book does end on a cliffhanger so I will definitely be looking to read book two. But it is well worth your time and thoroughly enjoyable.

Delilah is a demon, running a bar and hunting at night. Life in the city gets too much for her so she decides to book a cabin in the woods and treat herself to a vacation. That is until three witches summon her to do their bidding to avenge their long gone ancestors. Then on top of that there’s a handsome Sheriff in the mix who also happens to be in a poly amorous relationship with a Nix. This novel was fun and whimsical, Delilah is kick ass and funny and easily likable. I really enjoyed this book and found it easy to follow. I would definitely read more in the series.

Alicia Gray has the perfect life, perfect corporate lawyer husband, perfect home, perfect daughters, perfect best friend. Or does she? When Alicia finds out all is not as it seems in her perfect life and she begins to receive messages from someone claiming to know secrets about her husband, will her own secrets be spilled? I found this story absolutely gripping. I really enjoyed getting to know the different characters of the book and the inter relationships between them all are very cleverly written. The book is fast paced which I liked as it keeps the suspense factor without lingering too long. I really didn’t see the end coming!
I enjoyed listening to this audio. The narrator’s voice made the story easy to listen too. They brought life to the story and I could easily see the characters. I enjoyed them, I found myself easily connecting to them. In this story Crimson’s spells always go bad. When the high priestess threatens to bind her powers, her reaction is to challenge her to a battle that she doesn’t have a chance to win. What will happen when a demon named Mike makes a deal that could change everything for Crimson? The characters had great chemistry and I enjoyed them. I highly recommend this audio, it is worth the listen too.

This is a great novella to start this mafia romance series, I am so excited to read the rest. This is about a powerful family and they’re attorney Braelynne Shaw. Seth Girodano fell madly in love with her when she represented him in a case, but they have to keep their relationship secret as no one will be happy with their choice. You see if she can still make partner whilst keeping the love of her life but it seems like his family are not the only problem they run into.

Blue Summer was the first book I’ve read by this author but it certainly won’t be my last! I had no idea what to expect when I dove into this one but this storyline far exceeded anything I could have hoped for. It’s so detailed, entertaining, intense and oh so steamy! I was captivated right from the get go and ended up reading this book in one sitting as I couldn’t bring myself to stop reading.
This author took me on such a beautifully described journey, one that I wouldn’t mind living in. The story is written with so much detail that I could easily picture everything playing out in my mind, which kept me highly entertained. I cannot wait to continue reading this storyline with Part Two.
If you are looking for a one of a kind read look no futher, this is the book for you!

THE DEVOTED FAN (21st Century Courtesan Book 5) by P.S. Dumond 4 Stars!!!!
What a rollercoster ride of an ending. I just could not put this book down as it is the fifth book in this series I have read. Man I just love how the author was able to mix the drama and story. I sure was on the edge of my seat to see how it would all end.
I definitely was not disappointed and I felt as though I was right in the thick of the drama. I like how the plot twisted. I could definitely feel the main character’s emotions and was sad to see that this is the last. I would definitely read more from this author.

This is the 1st book in the Walker Family Series. It is a lovely story about love and overcoming difficulties. The author does a great job at making the characters likeable and relatable.
Susan has moved to Georgia for a fresh start. She has big plans t open her new restaurant. She had plans and goals. What she doesn’t expect is Eric to come in a mess them all up.
Eric is a bit of a longer. Happy with his own company. After finding out he was going to lose his home because of a bet his uncle lost, Eric doesn’t know where to turn or what to do…
There is an instant connection between Erica and Susan but with them both having problems in their life’s can they over come them together or will secrets from their posts stop them from having a future.

I’ve never read Danielle Jacks until this book and I feel like have been missing out. I am a fan of my brother’s best friend tropes. This one though it was slightly different with the brother and best friend on the outs and their relationship started out as revenge for Damien and a cover for Zoe. The chemistry between the two is *insert me doing a chef’s kiss* perfection. How will everything play out you ask? You will need to grab your own copy of this book.

I have never read a book by this author previously, but I found it to be very intriguing once I got into the first few chapters. I thought that her way of developing the characters was different but in a positive way. There was a lot of mystery, secrets and lies. No one could be trusted and just when you thought you knew what was about to happen a curve in the road lie ahead to throw you off course. It was a mystery. A puzzle that you had to put together and the last piece wouldn’t be put into place until she was ready. I really didn’t feel a huge connection with any of the characters but could sympathize with them with their dark pasts. If you love books that will keep you on the edge of your seat right up until the end, then this is the right book for you.
Walker Pride is the first book in the Walker Family Series by Bernadette Marie. I had only previously read 1 book by this author but I had really enjoyed it and was looking forward to reading the start of a new series. I really enjoyed this first book. This could end up being a very long series as the Walkers are one very big family and I’m sure all will have great stories to tell. AS the book continued more and more siblings, cousins etc were added to the clan. In this book we get the story of the Eldest brother Eric. At risk of losing everything he has worked for due to a bet made by his Uncle, he’s determined to do everything possible to save his house and livelihood. He doesn’t have room for distractions but can’t help be extremely distracted by the beautiful Susan Hayes, the caterer at his Grandfather’s funeral. I adored Eric and Susan’s story. There is so much more than just a romance story in this book. There is danger, drama and intrigue as well as feuding families. Susan and Eric are both great characters to read and I could have read about the two of them for hours and hours. This story was highly entertaining and keeps you gripped to the storyline to see what happens next. Definitely recommend.

Blue men with no women of their kind. Mushroom houses. An evil sorcerer. Meeting the Zayed changes Lillie’s life forever. An accidental encounter causes her to be kidnapped by the evil sorcerer. He thinks she knows more than she does. I love Lillie, she is a strong, independent woman who knows how to take care of herself. She isn’t a woman that needs to be rescued. Where does she fit in with the Zayed community? Why does she feel as if she belongs when she hasn’t felt as if she belonged anywhere her entire life. I really enjoyed the characters and the relationships she developed. The book is during a 48 hour period so everything happens very quickly. Heath, Clay, Brian, and Chief are very well developed and I felt connected. The book ends on a total cliffhanger, but I was totally engrossed. I had to know what happened and immediately bought book two and finished it right after book one.

This was a great read and I’m excited to continue reading the next book in the Deadly Isles Special Ops series by Amy McKinley. The characters were likable and I appreciated the back story the author gave to both. It added to the sense of mystery and kept the book even more entertaining and interesting. It was full of romance and suspense that had me trying to figure out the intertwining storylines and who was the ultimate villain in the book. Easy writing style that alternated viewpoints between the main characters kept me engaged as well. Great book!

Thank goodness Sheldon was there when Alexis was getting harassed by some crazy man in a coffee shop. Alexis didn’t realize then but, Sheldon was going to be around a lot. Luckily she’s a hair stylist and Sheldon needs one for one of his clients. This book was crazy. I can’t believe the stuff that happened in the book. Sheldon and his team are my hero’s! Twisted, intense and heartracingly brilliant. Devoured in one sitting. This book is the stunning conclusion to an epic series. All the breadcrumbs that were so skilfully laid out throughout the series are finally revealed and come together in a final showdown. This story drags you in, tumbles you about and squeezes your heart. I was so enamoured by the characters and the suspense had me holding my breath, I just kept turning the pages right til the end. A must read, I highly recommend this series.

Luce Eterna: Part 1: Book 5, The Luminara Series by SJ Molloy is dark and erotic but is quite the emotional rollercoaster ride. Heart officially broken! Sobbing is a given so stock up on those tissues. SJ once again puts these characters through dark, raw and tumultuous times that would break even the strongest of people. With even more twists and secrets, angst, and turmoil I was engrossed and enthralled. SJ’s writing style turns her stories into page turners and become addictive.

THE DEVOTED FAN (21st Century Courtesan Book 5) by P.S. DuMond is the end of the series and I have been waiting with bated breath for it to come out. As Pamela says each of the stories are a blend of dark romance, psychological suspense, and domestic thriller. Reading the books in order is a must to get the full effect of the characters and what is going on plus each book ends with a cliff hanger.
Pamela has woven even more multi-layers in story line with lots of emotions and complexities, and it all comes to a tumultuous head. You never know where Pamela will take you with her wonderful story telling. I have said it before, but it is as true for this book as the others. It is as dangerous as it is mysterious, and as it is sexy as it is suspenseful. It is dramatic, and it is captivating in its uniqueness. It is also hot and full of lust and love, and loyalty but it is also full of danger and an unknown threat.
Evie’s tragic childhood has shaped her life. She is an empath who uses it to help others and is much sought after for her specific talents.

Chameleon by Zoe Kalo is a dark and eerie YA paranormal (or is it?) story. We are faced with the usual angst that YA’s go through plus each of them have very dark secrets. Please be aware that there are trigger issues such as mental health issues, rape, and psychological manipulation.
I found myself confused and I struggled to read some parts due to the way it was written and had to go back and re read them. The premise is good, but it felt like at times we needed a little more detail to make this story and the characters really shine and make this a great story. However, the mystery and suspense keep you wanting to know what is going on.
The Billionaire Bodyguards series continues with Elusive, book five in the series by Via Mari. Honestly, this series just gets better an better. You feel like you become one with the story and its characters. The stroryline is so believable and the cast are hot and provide an enviable set of moments that are unforgettable. I am continuously amazed and impressed by the talent of Via Mari. Her stories are always easy to get into and almost impossible to put down. Sheldon and Alexis were dynamic together and set the story alight with their attraction and chemistry. Danger and suspense are around every corner. A very classy dark mafia romance. 5 well deserved stars.

Heartbroken, Cam embarks on a voyage to seek answers. Will the journey answer his burning questions? Or will he learn more than he bargained for? His journey presents both challenges and opportunities as he builds new friendships along the way, as well as reuniting with old acquaintances. Just as Cam and Freyja’s life comes full circle, their friends and community are threatened, forcing them to defend those they love.
In this third instalment of the Antipodes series, friendships are tested when the survivors learn the horrifying truth about why they were chosen. Which friendships will survive?
T.S. Simons is an Australian author of Scottish heritage. Living in the alpine region of Australia, she believes in the values of sustainability and community in a world where we place greater value on possessions than people. The Antipodes series addresses the question—if we gave young people the opportunity to start over, would we replicate the mistakes of the past?
Her desire to assist others saw her working in international development before realising that her passion lay in education. She holds a Bachelor and Masters degree and enjoys drinking coffee, travelling, mythology, snow skiing, while attempting to live as sustainably as possible. She is owned by two rather bossy standard schnauzers and two rescue cats who co-manage her household.
Antipodes is the first novel in the Antipodes series, followed by The Liminal Space and Ouroboros. A novella prequel, Crossroads, is now available. She is working on a fifth novel in this series, Caim.

Marcas MacArthur was as tough as they come. The former Navy Seal had dedicated his life to lead the elite Columbia SWAT team and had no time for relationships. He had two reasons. Putting his life on the line daily would be too much to ask any woman to deal with, and she would be a distraction. But when the new neighbor next door moved in, she captured his attention.
Sarena Rucker was an emergency room nurse who had a thing for men in uniforms. The single sergeant who lived next door made her knees weak. Decked out in his tactical gear, he was the perfect package—sexy, rugged, intense—and he loved to be in charge.
One night together and their lives changed forever. Sarena had got under his skin, and Marcas couldn’t get enough of her. Everything was perfect until Marcas learned of the target on Sarena’s back because of her connection to him. He would do anything to protect her.
Will he be able to save her in time, or will he lose the one who gave him hope for the future?

I’d always been the black sheep of the family. No wonder they picked me to play undercover boss at Sweetopia, the theme park my family owned. While they lounged in the lap of luxury, I’d be donning an apron to serve pastries at Cotton Candy Castle, one of our most popular attractions.
But I was tempted to blow my cover when I met The Red Velvet Queen. She was wearing a costume and a fake jeweled crown, but this woman was absolutely breathtaking. I invented a baker’s dozen reasons to talk to her every day, quickly becoming addicted to her sweet, sugary goodness.
She thought I was just seasonal help. Too bad I was actually her boss. It could never be more than a fling…a fleeting one at that. Flings were what I lived for, so why couldn’t I settle for just one slice instead of wanting the whole damn pie?
Phoebe Alexander writes #sexpositive #bodypositive erotic romance featuring compelling plots intertwined with passionate, fiery encounters. Phoebe lives on the East Coast with her husband, sons, and multiple felines. When she’s not writing, she works as an editor and consultant for indie authors. She also volunteers her time running a 4500-member indie author support group.
