Revenge (Least Likely Suspect Book 1) by Cooper McKenzie – Review by Angela Packard
Least Likely Suspect: Revenge by Cooper McKenzie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This was a great thriller. Samantha Wycoff gets the most horrible news that her son has been beaten and is at the hospital. She has to make the worst decision a parent has to make of deciding to unplug her brain-dead son. Samantha knows in her heart that his abusive girlfriend did this to him, but there are no witnesses and no proof. The case goes nowhere.
Her son’s childhood best friend, Micah shows up to help support her during this horrible time. Samantha is focused on revenge and how to get it. Micah has a solution, but is she up to it? She has three months to prove herself to be able to join Micah’s team. Samantha being in her 50’s wonders if she can accomplish it.
This book really took me on a ride and was a very powerful read for me. Samantha really touched my heart, and I was rooting for her the whole way. Made me really think about how far I would be willing to go if one of my kids was murdered
