Book Review: Manifested Dreams

Four Stars
This is a very short book of letters written through the years from members of an African-American family. Describing their experiences with being persons of color and their treatment. It starts with a girl who was an owned slave then continues through the years up to present day when Barack Obama was elected president and their reactions and hopes when that came about.
Very interesting read. I did learn quite a bit about some of the experiences that were had by people of a different race and culture.
