Journeys Through TimeSpace (Journeys Through Book 2) by James Talisman – Review by Sherry Sharpnack

Journeys Through TimeSpaceJourneys Through TimeSpace by James Talisman
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is Book #2 in the “Journeys Through TimeSpace” series. It would be extremely helpful to read Book #1 to establish the identities and backstories of the characters in this book, b/c Book #2 picks up right where Book #1 left off.
Matt, Julia, and Dan are young people recruited to the Lighthouse Collective, for whom Matt’s parents also work. Matt is suspected to have great potential, with the correct training, which he will receive in Nepal. So the threesome set out for Nepal. Matt’s parents are involved in the effort to protect the Earth from possible invasion by others in the Multiverse. We also are re-introduced the Disciples of Hades and their member, Thomas Halloway IV, and the reptilian humanoids from elsewhere in the Multiverse.
Will the groups make strange bedfellows to defend the Earth from the alien invaders? Will Matt learn enough in time to save the Earth? Read it and see. I’ll rate it three stars, b/c the sex scenes are a bit graphic for me and some of the language used by the author doesn’t seem to match the situation, eg feeling informal when it should be more formal for the scene. If you like imaginative world building, or if you like the “Back to the Future” movie series, you may like this story.
