Pauline Gruber captured my interest again in this great follow-up to the Girl and the Raven. It was a slow start for me, as I was looking for the twists and turns that the first book offered but I was not disappointed! I loved reading about the progression of Lucy’s life after meeting her father and learning about her magic. I recommend this series to anyone who loves magic, witches, demons, and all things fantasy!
