An amazing fantasy adventure about a girl that finds out of the inter-racial conflict between the Ellisians and the Cadians. She finds her way while seeing the world for that it really is, and not what she was told. When the queen is assassinated there is a ruling conflict which creates the conflict with the people. The relationships Elfern cstarts building with the races as she questions everything she was taught and trying to make it better. She takes everything in strides and takes her role in leadership with a bad ass attitude. This book was a page turner, and emotional rollercoaster that will have you wanting to read more.
