My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This short and sweet romance was a real page turner and I read it in one sitting. Well known movie star Brody Nash first meets Willa when she’s attempting to jump over his neighbours gate and he mistakes her for a burglar. It turns out Willa is house sitting for her Grandfather and the couple can’t deny their instant attraction to one another, and get to know each other better. Unfortunately both Willa’s ex boyfriend Hayden and Brody’s PA Carmody plot to split the couple up. When Willa leaves on her houseboat it looks like they have succeeded but Brody hopes his spontaneous actions will save their relationship. The characters in this story were wonderfully detailed and both Brody and Willa were likeable and relatable making it easy to feel engaged with them. Their obvious chemistry came across in the writing and led to some sizzling scenes. Secondary characters Hayden and Carmody were also well defined and bought different elements to the storyline. The author really made the setting come alive with her descriptive narrative and I felt as though I was in Australia along with the couple, especially the parts in Brody’s house which overlooks Sydney Harbor. A heartwarming love story which I found entertaining and enjoyable.
