LUKE (DEFAULT DISTRACTION #4) by A. S. Roberts

5 out of 5 Stars

This series is amazing! The characters are fantastically flawed with luggage, not just baggage, that are trying to be better humans. The characters are funny, caring, delicate, intelligent and despite being rock stars, completely relatable.

Luke McKenzie is haunted by the trauma of his childhood and the guilt of his wife’s death. Now he is raising his daughter with the help of his bandmates. After his most recent nanny left to start a family of her own, Luke is now looking for a new one. He has to meet his daughter’s very strict list of qualifications, including loves to dance.

Nikki Osborne has recently returned home after a disastrous experience at her last nanny job. She agreed to help out the local dance instructor with some lessons while looking for her next position. When Luke finds Nikki’s advert for an opening, he thinks he has found the perfect fit for his daughter. Is she also the perfect fit for Luke?

The emotional rollercoaster the author takes you through keeps you flipping those pages. I lost track of time and couldn’t put this one down. I am a Double D girl for life.
