I have never read a book quite like this one! Lauren Besoner is a court stenographer who is trying to start fresh after a recent divorce. She soon finds herself accused of murdering a local judge. In a page-turning whodunit, author Merissa Racine kept me thoroughly engrossed with secrets and reveals. I love, love a smart female main character!
