This is a great BDSM novel that I really enjoyed reading. I had never read any of this author’s work before but I was very intrigued by the blurb and decided to give it a go. I’m very glad that I chose to read this as it was a really great read.
I have read a fair deal of BDSM books before but never one with a female Domme and a male sub, so this was very new for me. I have to say that I really did enjoy reading from this perspective. I’m glad that the book is told from dual POV as you get to see what’s going through both Mary Beth’s and Elgin’s minds.
I was totally engrossed in reading what was going through Elgin’s head as each scene with Mary Beth played out. It was very eye-opening and thought provoking. I’d definitely like to read more BDSM books with a female Domme and male sub in future.
Mary Beth and Elgin are great characters to read. Elgin has a lot of issues and it was amazing to read how Mary Beth taught him to deal with them. Mary Beth comes across as a sweet woman but she sure changes once she gets into scene. It’s like a totally different person.
If you like a good BDSM book then I’d definitely recommend reading this.
