Cade is back on stage in the second book of this series, on tour with his wife and his son. Lecia returns home, and suddenly Miles falls ill, resulting in the unexpected return of Cade to their home in North Carolina. The author did a good job with this sequel. It has a lot of twists and turns, and there’s a big moment that’s hard to see coming. Taking place about 8 years after the first, she does a good job of pulling the audience back into the Moore family story.
