Initially starting the book I was not sure what to expect. I am a fan of this author, and as always I was not disappointed at all. There were a few twists and turns I did not see, but the suspense and action of the novel are what tied it all together. Lydia was a strong and fierce heroine. The question of what would you do or how far would you go to save someone you love who was in danger was answered the moment she began this journey to save Cam.
When Lydia learns Cam was taken and to get him back she needed to deliver the artifact Theodore’s Ring she is all in with no hesitation. Upon this immediate declaration she also discovers that she will not be going alone, and her ex Sullivan will be with her. The pressures to find the artifact, deal with her ex, and bring home her boyfriend make for an interesting journey, and a tale you will not believe.
