An Alien Storm (Soldiers of Saedo Book 4) by Calla Zae – Review by Jenni Bishop

An Alien Storm (Soldiers of Saedo, #4)An Alien Storm by Calla Zae
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Calla writes a variety of genres from sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal, to contemporary romance novels. I have read a few of her books and each one is totally different to the others. This book is a Sci Fi story and the visuals she brings in her writing transports you to another place. I didn’t discover until I was three quarters of the way through that this was the fourth book in the series, but I didn’t feel like I was missing out. But I will be going back and starting at the beginning of the series because I really enjoyed this book.
There is drama and suspense, danger, steamy scenes and romance. The world is well-crafted is engaging and entertaining with fully developed and endearing characters.
Vanessa has a past that has left her with scars both physically and the mentally. She has just found her slice of heaven and then she meets Arkon. Arkon can’t stop thinking about one woman who helped rescue but there is something coming that may keep these two apart.
