This book is the fifth in a series and can easily be read as a stand alone book. Each book follows a leader of one of the 5 Italian American mafia families. This book is about Luc Savino and Summer Johansson. Luc is the heir to the Brambilla family. The only problem is that he doesn’t know it yet. Summer finds herself in the middle of the Chicago mafia as they bring Luc into the fold. She has her own skeletons in her closet and is hoping they don’t find out. Luc must make some choices in his life. Will he protect Summer and keep her safe? Will Summer be able to let her guard down to let Luc and the rest of the families in? Will they be able to make their love work? Find out in this fantastic book!
