Blood & Ravens (The Casket Girls Series Book 1) by A.D. Brazeau – Review by Tracy Manderson

Blood & Ravens: A dark, paranormal romance (The Casket Girls Book 1)Blood & Ravens: A dark, paranormal romance by A.D. Brazeau
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read by this author and its book one of The Casket Girls Series a dark, paranormal romance, which takes place in 1728 New Orleans. The plot is intriguing and the characters are great with little quirks that make them real.
Greer is 22 years old and she was ripped from her small Paris life and thrust into the world of the casket girls of New Orleans. She finds herself living in a convent, promised to a man who is a stranger to her. She starts experiencing dreams of a nightly visitor she calls the Dark Knight, but soon she realizes the dreams are real and whatever is in those caskets are feeding on Greer and her friends.

Theron is a bitter cold-hearted demon that was cursed by Hades to live as a blood sucking vampire he finds himself falling under Greer, and he helps her and her friends, by putting himself firmly in the path of Hades’ wrath again.
Greer must offer a sacrifice to the lord of the Underworld, but will it be enough, especially when Hades is the least of their problems? She will sacrifice everything to save her love and protect her friends. What will Greer Sacrifice to save her loves ones? Can Theron really help protect her?
This was a great first read for me and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series…
