Manipulator’s War (Ruarnon Trilogy Book 1) by Elise Carlson – Review by Stephanie Robb
Manipulator’s War by Elise Carlson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Manipulators War by Elise Carlson is book one in the ruarnon trilogy.
this book is the first book I have read with a non-binary main character. I really appreciated the LGBTQIA+ representation within this book. I felt that the author dealt with the representation in a realistic and compassionate way.
This is a realistic fantasy world with a slow start as we build up the background, politics and are introduced to this new world running alongside ours. This was captivating, immersive and thrilling. I loved the echoes to other great fantasy reads and I am fascinated as to where this series will lead to and I will definitely be continuing on within this series.
