This was a new spin on Greek mythology. Apollo has not yet ascended to his god-status, nor does he really want to. Zeus assigns him to seek out Hyacinth to learn how to become more like a ruler. Apollo and Hyacinth don’t trust each other at the onset, but the more they are forced to work together, each sees the potential, as well as the shadows of doubt, in the other and a bond is formed. This is the first book in this series and the first i have read from this author. I love how it sucks you in to the mystical world of Greek mythology. There is romance, suspense and fates intwined. Apollo has some huge decisions to make and his Father Zeus only wants and sees one outcome and thats for Apollo to take over as God of the Sun. But Apollo doesn’t want to ascend he is happy being a demi-god can his mind be changed. I cannot wait for the next book.

This book is fascinating. It’s all about what happens when you have wishes that haven’t been realized and the lengths that a person will go to have them come true. There are so many fascinating characters that drew me right into this story from the very first page. Elodie and Sebastian are craving a better life and they think they have finally found the perfect way to get it. They embark on a journey to find a mythical creature to bring their wishes to life. Will they get what they are searching for or will they find out the meaning behind the saying be careful what you wish for because you just might get it and it might not turn out the way that you hoped and expected that it would. I really enjoyed the way that this story incorporates fantasy, romance, and monsters all in one incredible book.

This story was so full of sadness and heartbreak that it was truly hard to put it down. It can be a quick read. I loved the fact that Lorriane Haas uses some of her family story to build this story. Margaret is the girl who has big dreams and always ends up back at home until the least expected opportunity presents itself. The background with the war and all the soldiers at Pensacola during that time makes you think of all those who did lose someone and all those quick marriages that happened. I was rooting for Margaret every step of her story. I actually cheered for her when she finally stood up to the shop owner she worked for with her sister! The losses she had to suffer are relatable which make you like her even more.

This book is an amazing illustration of life not just for women but for the country after Pearl Harbor is hit. Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres and this one did not disappoint. It was a very emotional story as the main character is put through tragic event after event. It was also based on the author’s own family history which helped to add to the realism of the story. I did wish to see a little more details in some of the time jumps but it didn’t take away from the story. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys historical fiction.
This was a great book full of trials, trumpets and forgiveness. I love how the author paints beautiful pictures of her characters and how this story comes alive for the reader. This was a fast pace, wanting more with every page. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great story of hardship, that makes you better after coming through the other side.

What a ride this book took me on! I found myself experiencing an array of emotions. I was irritated with the main character, Josie. I couldn’t stand her ex husband, Eddie. I was suspicious of the new man Josie was dating, Travis. This book tells us the story of Josie at the start of the pandemic then through it. She is dealing with a crazy ex while trying to raise 2 kids. Then in the midst of all that, she finds out a secret her parents have kept from her. I have a little bit of pandemic fatigue, so I struggled with that part of the book. But let me tell you – I didn’t have anything figured out. I thought I knew who the bad guy was. I had no idea the scope of the end of the story. It is well worth the time to read!

Thrilling and suspenseful from chapter one, this novel lured me in and kept me there until the end. I love the author’s writing style, which painted a vivid picture of a quaint little town with boatloads of secrets. I could really picture myself there, especially with the current events of the pandemic thrown in. I found myself feeling the fear and frustration of the ordeal she was facing right along with Josie. If you’re on the edge about trying this new author or delving into the thriller genre, I would highly suggest starting out here. Must read! New favorite author!

Wow. This story has so many levels to unwrap. First, it was well written. I was immediately drawn to Josie. Her complex character had me feeling sympathetic and questioning her sanity. I can honestly say I was still on the fence about her innocence until the last few chapters. When I began this book I wasn’t sure how much I’d enjoy reading about a pandemic we are still living in. Although it played a role it was not the focus of this book. This story is filled with secrets, lies, greed and half-truths. At the center of all this is family. I did not expect a few of the twist. I had suspicions of a few people but the depth the betrayal goes is mind blowing. This was a creative yet thrilling way to bring awareness to something that affects all of us (no it’s not the virus) you’ll have to read to find out what it is though. I won’t ruin that for you. 😉

This book had me thinking and making prediction after prediction until the very end. What started out as relatable with recent events quickly turned into a nightmare I would never want to live through. The author did a great job building the characters and diving deep enough to make those twists extremely shocking. While the plot is out there, in todays world, it really makes you think if it’s really that far fetched.

The Last Cabin Girl follows Josie as she is in the process of filing for divorce from her abusive husband. She has secluded herself in a cabin with enough bad energy to keep her husband away from her and her children. While she fights for the end of her marriage, she watches as the coronavirus works its way across the ocean to America. That won’t be the only thing that fills her with terror once a body is discovered on her property. Every single bit of evidence points to Josie being the murderer.
This book is different from anything I have read before. It had action, betrayal, confusion, and twists that left my gaping. Josie is a very strong female character that works hard throughout the book for everything she wants in her life. She isn’t very likable but I’m not sure she was meant to be. She is someone I would avoid being friends with but that’s what makes her the perfect suspect.
My only drawback with the story was that it felt as though there was too much going on. I feel as though there was so much packed into the plot that at times the plots got completely lost. While the author did a fabulous job of tying up all the loose strings at the end, it felt as though there were too many strings. Personally, I didn’t feel as though it was realistic. With all that being said, I did enjoy it when I knew what was going on.
Overall it was a pretty easy read that took me on a rollercoaster. As far as being a thriller, it hit the mark completely!

The Cruiser is one of few books that leaves me wanting so much more. Wanting to know what happened after the last page was read. I personally think most romance novels end pretty similar. But this one actually had me questioning all of the way and wanting to know more. I love strong characters and strong female characters I can relate to. And I can do that here. I also love the fact that the main female character is feisty. Has sass. And one of my favorite things about this book is the character development and the fact that it’s not one sided. You see the point of view (for the most part) from both Morgan and Vandana. I cannot wait for book two in hopes that it has more about this pair.

I have read a few books from this author and she always blows my mind with her writing. This is the third book of the underground bad boys series. You can read this book as a stand alone but there are some previous characters in this story as well. I was excited for this book. I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. I could not put this book until the very end. I can’t wait to see who she writes about next.
Juliet has been fighting since her parents left her. She is now staying with her best friend Ten to survive. Perfect ending to this trilogy. This author is on my list to automatically read without looking at the cover or reading the synopsis, though the cover would have drawn me in if I was not familiar with her.
Gage and Juliet meet in the most interesting way and that is just the beginning of the interesting moments.
There are some incredibly hot moments that are not for the weak or pearl clutchers that is for sure.
Once again this author delivers a book I enjoyed reading. If you have read anything by her yet I highly recommend this book which could be read as a standalone, though I would start at the beginning.

First book by this author and can I just say “Wow!” Just to be clear there is plenty of steam in this book, but it is so much more than that. I love a good “down on my luck” story. We can all relate to feeling like a failure at something or things just going wrong at every turn. It’s great to read about the characters overcoming obstacles and facing demons. Great characters and a great plot. Looking forward to going back and reading the rest of the series!

The Traitor is the second book in India Kells Bad Boys Romance series. In this story we meet Spencer and Josie. Josie is busy working herself to the bone, trying to make ends meet thanks to her good for nothing ex. She gets a second job at Spencer’s garage, and as much as he tries to resist her, he is drawn to her immediately. He wants to protect her, but from what and who? Himself??? He has a sordid past and he can’t help but wonder if it will sneak up and bring everything he has built, crashing down on him.
Gage is back at it again. He needed a break and decided to visit Spencer and finds an interesting situation that he is 100% down for. This leads to some hot and heavy MFM sex scenes and I was loving every single minute of it!
This series has been just a wonderful series to get lost in! Be prepared to get hot and bothered as the fireworks between these characters is burning hot desire!!!

This is the first book I read by this author. I was quite intrigued by the storyline and couldn’t wait to read it. I’m glad I did because it lead me to all the books in this series.
The story unfolds fairly quickly. Tessa is a doctor in the emergency room who helps young girls who are victims of human trafficking. In the hospital, she has a run in with a mysterious man who intrigues her instantly. Unfortunately, she never gets a chance to find out who he is.
By helping young girls escape their tormentors, Tessa finds herself in incredible danger. She is abducted by the bad guys and in the process, finds her mystery man. He helps her out of her situation and makes a proposal that Tessa finds herself unable to resist. Mystery man introduces Tessa to his friend and the three of them have the hottest sex imaginable! This book is erotic and passionate and sure to leave you in flames and wanting more. Luckily, there are two more books in the series to look forward too!

All I can say is OH. MY. This book will knock your socks off and leave you wanting more. This is the ending to the trilogy and while you could get by with reading it as a standalone novel it is a thousand times better reading all 3. This book has M/M/F action and is hot as sin. I’ve read a lot of this type of steamy erotic, but this is one of my favorites. Not only is it good in the layout of those scenes but the story itself is riveting as well. Oftentimes authors will skimp on the plot to pack it full of just the sexual parts, but India Kells has written a book well worth reading even if you wanted to skim over the sexual parts. (Who would want to?!). This will definitely be a reread for me in the future and I cannot wait to see what else she puts out.

The Cruiser took a little bit to pull me in so within the first few pages I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it. My doubts were quickly obliterated and I blew through the entire book in a day. I’ll warn you now that this book will have you wanting to travel and possibly invest in a yacht!
The author writes Vandana so well that you can feel her strength and self-confidence pour off the pages without crossing the line into conceited. Yet when she meets Morgan there is this immediate vulnerability that is so believable you can’t help but experience the emotions yourself. Will she be on board to take the PR challenge head-on or will she end up in deep water?
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a page-turning romance that has drama infused in every chapter. I’m excited to grab the second book in this trilogy as soon as possible!

Never judge a book by it’s cover, right? Well, the cover of The Cruiser by Rowan Rossler is what instantly pulled me in and made this an insta click!
I’ve always dreamed of visiting Monaco, so I was immediately pulled into the storyline as we follow Vandana to paradise to escape the emotional bomb that was just dropped on her. She thought she had the perfect life, until it evaporated and left her questioning whether it was ever really real. She throws herself into her work and despite the changes in her life, is determined to not let it bring her down. She is strong, feisty and resilient. As she meet’s the incredibly sexy yacht designer she is now working for she finds just the distraction she needed. Morgan is gorgeous and intriguing and introduces Vandana to a world and life she never imagined! The chemistry between the two is off the charts. I cannot wait to see where this series takes us next. I’m buckled up and ready for the wild adventure to continue!
